This is my preferred place to buy my heating and plumbing supplies. John Hunter has helped me put together supply lists and worked with me consistently as I work through a number of home renovations. He has been great about helping me figure out the most optimal setup for a garage heater and baseboard replacement. He has taken the time to figure out exactly the BTU's necessary for the sq footage and does not try to upsell at the owners detriment. Their prices are great and from a homeowner perspective I am grateful for the assistance in an area that is not my strength.

Barry and the rest of the folks here always go above and beyond to get us what we need. Thank you all for top notch service.

Pass on this company if you’re needing supplies shipped from the Anchorage store. I had high hopes at first. Friendly and knowledgeable. Then things fell off the rails. I provided my list of needs. I was assured it would be shipped out that day unless there was an issue and if so then I would be called back. I learned several days later there was an issue with a few parts, but never got that call because the employee went home for the day and his weekend. Then when I finally received my shipment not everything was shipped. I assessed two air cargo freight fees as a result of Frontier Supply’s error. Attention to detail and follow through are some of the important aspects I look for in a company when I do business with them and Frontier Supply fell short on both.

Friendly staff, good prices and they had the plumbing parts I needed. Barry was particularly helpful in offering advice regarding a problem I was having with a heating zone at my house. He was really knowledgable on boilers/zone valves, and his advice saved me $.

Not very polite or good attitude. Why answer phones and serve customers if your customer service blows?

I am a clinic maintenance worker out in rural Alaska and also moonlight doing contract labor for a couple different companies. Mike and co always treat me right, keep my many different orders on different accounts straight and the service is top notch. Best customer service in Anchorage.

Very short with me on the phone and didn't want to help. This is a wholesaler company that sells to other businesses. They don't get that if they are rude to people, generally people wont buy from the people they sell to. In other words, even though you are a wholesaler you still have to provide customer service.

I only had one experience with this whole sale company, but that experience was not good. The customer service agent, was on the verge of rude, and just was not willing to answer questions.

Our contractor sent us here to pick out our new sink for our kitchen remodel. You do have to make an appointment, as they aren't open to the general public. Great showroom, with a lot of things to look at. Great customer service. They answered all of our questions.

I called to ask questions about available shower bases. I've already done my research and worked with my plumber on required specs such as thresholds, drain configuration etc. Now I am ready to make a decision and have questions on availability. I understand they are a wholesaler, but I find it frustrating they will not even talk to me (the homeowner) about the products I am choosing for my plumber to install. Asking my plumber to call will just cost me more money and drives the cost of my project up. Guess where my plumber will not be buying my shower pan.

This guy has no idea what he’s doing, replacing parts that don’t need to be changed. Had to call another plumber to fix his mistakes. Don’t waste your time!

Not recommended!! When we called and explained what happened we were quoted for $140/hr we already knew what was wrong we needed a specialist to fix it not tell us what was wrong again. They showed up for 10-15 minutes made an assessment and we got charged $140. Just a rip off!! when we clarified with the plumber he said clock ticks when they leave the office.Called and spoke to the supervisor was told the minimum is hr therefore we still pay $140.. Ended up calling another plumber who got the job done and price was reasonable. To pay $140 for someone to come out and make an assessment on what we already know is wrong is nothing but bad business here!! Do not recommend....
