We were recommended Bowker Mechanical by Alaska Fireplace and Accessories to install a Natural Gas Fireplace.

The owner personally came out, wrote to a quote, and had us on the books VERY fast!

Everything from their office staff, to the crew was phenomenal to me.

When we recieved our quote, we went and paid in full to ensure we didn't have any financial hookups from scheduling to day of service. The office ladies were superb with my daughter who came with me. My daughter just loved those ladies!

The crew who came out to my home picked up and delivered the Gas Fireplace, so we didn't even need to go get it. They arrived early, and didn't waste any time!

The guys were super nice, great manners, and were very professional. They chatted with my children, asked about trick ir treating, and were just overall great Gentleman. They cleaned up after themselves, stuck with the job, and got it done quite fast!

They were so extremely helpful with explaining to me all the different add ons we could install on our stove, how to use it, etc.

They even came back after they picked up their tools and trash to clean the area they were working on!

The workers even gave me $10 back saying that the owner said I overpaid. When I grabbed the $10, I instantly knew they were going to be my forever hvac company. It would have been so easy for the company or even the workers to just pocket the $10; but the fact they didn't speakes VOLUMES about this companies integrity, honesty, and commitment to their customers.

My family will finally be warm, and you have gained a loyal customer for life!

I have been a Bowker customer for several years now. My relationship began when it came time to replace my natural gas furnace originally installed when I had my home built. Fast forward 20+ years and the prudent decision was to replace my furnace. The original furnace was a Trane. As the slogan goes, "It's hard to stop a Trane". I had been quite satisfied with Trane over the years. Nonetheless, I began to call around and solicit bids for furnace replacement from various vendors/manufacturers. This is what led me to Bowker Mechanical. They were prompt and very competitive with their bid. It was a no-brainer. Installation of my new Trane furnace was scheduled in short order. I have subsequently used Bowker for annual inspection, cleaning/maintenance. I am completely satisfied with Bowker's service. I will add that Bowker is a Veteran friendly business. I highly recommend Bowker Mechanical for HVAC needs.

I realized today that my furnace wasn't working. Saw Bowker's ratings and thought I'd give them a try. So glad I did!! Within 2 hours a repairman had been and gone with a quick fix to the problem. Very impressed by the service and how helpful and friendly everyone that I interacted with were. Will definitely use them from now on!

Heater was acting up. A technician named Kevin came to help and was *superior* in service. I had asked to observe so I can learn & he not only explained what he was checking and why, he offered several tips that would reduce future issues.
Further, Kevin identified that I was making more work for myself by not properly utilizing my condensate pump.
Kevin is a kind, informative, superhero in my book and represents Bowker Mechanical extremely well.
Absolutely would use them again.

Prompt service to diagnose furnace unrepairable. Monday after extreme winds and cold and no power.Estimate instantly. James was professional. Checked to see about availability and was able to have it installed Wednesday .installers were friendly and efficient. Staff courteous and friendly.

After four HVAC technicians were unable to diagnose the problem, James from Bowker Heating was a remarkable exception. He approached the issue methodically, took the time to thoroughly assess the situation, clearly explained the problem, and even referred me to Northern, who specializes in boilers. Bowker Heating demonstrates a level of professionalism, integrity, and genuine customer care that is rare in the industry.

By contrast, my experiences with other companies were disappointing. Heat Source lacked the necessary tools, Diamond Heating Comfort Systems and Discount Mechanical Heating were unhelpful, Rock Solid Plumbing was unreachable, and Plumbing and Heating DR demonstrated a troubling focus on fees over solutions.

For anyone seeking knowledgeable, transparent, and customer-focused service, Bowker Heating is truly in a league of its own.

If I could sell my soul to James, I would. He has saved my family for the past week. With the wind storms, our furnace has had problem after problem. I reached out on a public Facebook forum asking for a business to reach out to, and James with Bowker was recommended specifically. He has been so patient with me, especially with me knowing absolutely nothing. He walked me through how to troubleshoot, reset, and what parts were needed to replace what was broken. He met up with my husband on a weekend to buy the parts and gave him advice on how to install the parts, and told him to call if he had any questions. I’ll be calling Bowker and James forever. 🙌🏼
