Can't say enough about these guys! They were problem solvers from beginning to end on a challenging design for a new boiler system in our existing commercial property. The property is used as an event venue so time was of the essence, and space was limited. They maximized their time and did outstanding work! Mat-Su Mechanical was great to work with. Shout out to Mark Sampson, Thad, and Kyle!! Highly recommend!

Kyle was great. Our furnace went out twice in one week (two completely different problems) and he was out that day to fix it. Professional, quality service at a good price.

This heating company told me that my furnace vent pipes were not their area of expertise. The heating and plumbing company charged $200 to go to the property and ignore a puddle of water in the crawl space and the ice buildup around the vent pipes. He wrote on his report "discover thermostat at 60* turned to 70* and instructed not to use a fan in the garage. Well played sir. I found them very unhelpful. I called multiple times and the receptionist told me the technician would call me back but never did. It seemed as if they would rather ignore the issue and my concerns rather than having an adult pick up the phone and talk to me. I'd say their customer service is not up to par and you should probably use a heating and plumbing company that actually knows what they are doing.

I had a contractor come look at the same issue and in 15 minutes he was able to tell me that the vent pipes were not put together correctly. The pipes were loose and the compound used to seal them was for PVC pipes and these were ABC pipes. He estimated around $300 to replace some of the ABC pipes and use the correct compound to seal the pipes and throw some extra insulation around the pipes. He gave me a couple of options to save some money and let me know he would inspect the work after the repair is completed to ensure the issue is solved. Do not use Mat-Su mechanical. If they were a plumbing and heating company worthwhile they would have been able to spot this issue and see something was wrong.

Shortly after we bought our home, we discovered a leak in our crawlspace and in air in our water lines. The first plumbing contractor was not familiar with our water softener/iron removal system where the leak was. They charged me for a callout and recommended I bypass the system. The second contractor also was not familiar with our setup, but recommended Mat-Su Mechanical. The plumbers came out and stopped the leak. Later I got a call from Mark Sampson, turns out he did the plumbing on the house when it was built in 93. He got the replacement parts and got the work done quickly. The office staff and technicians are all very professional. The price turned out less than I expected. Out of the 3 contractors I've talked to in the Valley, they are the only one I would recommend for complex/higher dollar plumbing issues.

I’ve used Matsu Mechanical for years for our all of our heating and plumbing needs. They hooked up a natural gas stove, fixed a stinky shower, install and service our furnace. They are the best! I recommend them to everyone.

I had a house built this year and my builder used Mat-su Mechanical for all of my plumbing, heating and HRV installation. Right from the beginning of the build, the team was courteous, knowledgeable, professional. I have been in the construction industry for 32 years, (almost 20 as an inspector). I know my way around the trades and know proper craftsmanship when I see it.

My job site was clean and orderly. I appreciate how neat/square/parallel all of the copper pipes/components are in the mech room.

We did have an issue with a tub leaking and the boiler making the house too hot. I am pointing out these issues because this is where the company shined.

The bathtub was a specialized free-standing Kohler tub. The owner of the company, Mark, personally took the time to call me to apologize and assured me the issue would be remedied. They ordered a new gasket, scheduled an appointment and tried again. That did not work either. Mark came to assess the problem himself. His team had properly installed the drain by Kohler specifications both times. The problem was with the Kohler instructions and install kit. I am thankful they figured it out I am hopeful they can recoup some labor cost from Kohler as well as educate Kohler so they correct the issue for the next install.

The next issue was the pump size for the 12 zone, in floor, heating system. It appears it was too big for the 6600 LF of heating tube that was installed. This was unexpected and a result of good windows and a tight house. The pump was blowing by a closed valve and heating spaces where they were not calling for heat. Again Mark handled the issue personally without hesitation. He scheduled the repair at my convenience and personally insured all of the 12 zones were rebalanced and properly functioning while on site. He and his team also answered my many questions and help educate my family on the operation of the system.

I have called a couple times with follow up questions to better understand my system and they were answered to my satisfaction.

I was treated with respect and valued as a customer all through the process. I would highly recommend Mat-Su Mechanical for all your heating and plumbing needs.

Called the warm guys, central plumbing and heating, in Anchorage, they recommended mat su mechanical. It was -15 below, my heater went out, they far exceeded my expectations, were on time, friendly, and fixed the problem, after other companies had come and gone. These guys are the best. Thank you!!

Excellent technicians and customer service. We called for an emergency call after another company turned off our heat, in the winter, in Alaska. They came out right away handled the situation in a timely professional manner and saved our house! I highly recommend them for all heating system needs!!

I just wanted to share my thankfulness and appreciation for Mat Su Mechanical's response to my furnace difficulty this week. It kept stopping in the extreme wind and Tuesday I basically had no heat all day. I called yesterday mid day and the person answering listened to my concern and transferred me to a manager. He listened and made sure I had a heat source (my fireplace was working!) and said he'd get back with me the next day after talking with people who had installed and serviced my furnace. Today, early, I got a phone call giving me options for a fix. AND, I had someone out in the morning doing that fix! Such prompt service, true listening to the difficulty and problem solving to figure out a correction in such a short amount of time was amazing!

These guys are real professionals. We needed a new furnace. After working for a week with another company who failed to provide a timely estimate or schedule the replacement, Mat-Su Mechanical provided an immediate estimate and completed the work quickly. We needed to put in-floor heating in our original house and they did this in a timely and professional manner. They also removed the old forced air furnace and ducting. They came out as needed to train us on how to balance the heat from the garage to the remainder of the house. I recommend Mat-Su Mechanical to others.

Technicians quality of work was good. Not a fan that I wasn't informed of him replacing my back flow valve and fill valve without asking me. $400+ in parts
Not as punctual as they used to be when I worked along side them in the industry. Their new pricing is absurd and I can't fathom how lower income families could afford a scheduled service call let alone and after hours emergency. I don't leave any reviews ever but this one seemed worthy.

From the friendly and helpful front office staff, to the wonderful technicians who really go the extra mile to make you feel important! When my heat pump went out last winter they were at my house within half an hour of me calling, and they had my heat back up and running within the hour! Last week I needed a furnace in a log home I recently bought that needs to be renovated. Dallas came out, explained what the plan was for the installation, and I went off on vacation. I literally left a mess in the basement of unpacked items left over from my move. Not only did they move these items out of the way so they could work, but they did a superior job while I was gone. When I returned Dallas came back out to explain the installation, how everything worked and what would take place when the bedrooms and bathroom were installed.
