They didn't show up to service my shower. Didn't call to let me know or reschedule! Very unprofessional and not business oriented. Do not use this company they will leave waiting.

I called Residential for an annual servicing for my boiler. The technician was very experienced, knowledgeable and thorough. I’ll continue to use them for my future plumbing and heating needs.

Residential Plumbing and Heating are awesome...they've came out twice to our house and Rick is skilled and it's obvious that he knows what he's doing when it comes to Heating...they are awesome and good people, very nice and thoughtful. We will always call them if there's another issue with our furnace...thank you RPH. Frank from Palmer Ak

I have had Residential come out and service multiple furnaces this past year. Rick shows up on time, does a great job keeping me informed. And fixes the problem for a reasonable fee. I will have him back in the future.

I believe in giving credit where credit is due, and therefore I want to thank Residential Plumbing and Heating for coming up here to Willow after working all day, and taking the time to thaw out our water line. This company has been around in Wasilla for a very long time, and the reason is obvious. They care about their customers, and they remember those customers when they come to do another job. Thanks again to the entire Residential Plumbing and Heating crew for all you good work. It is much appreciated!

Called about my fire place going out, they called their worker Rick who came out in like 20 min from my call. Figured out the issue with a few tests and fixed it up for us right away. Definitely recommend this place!

Added to say, I didn’t even say it was an emergency cause it wasn’t. And he still came out that fast :)

I have been calling Residencial plumbing and heating for my repairs for over 15 years. They have ALWAYS been very professional, every time. I own a house that was built in 1987 and has had many DYIers fixing or adding to the existing well, they came, saw the mess, figured it all out and ever time they came, they fixed the issue that lead to me calling. The techs are knowledgeable in what they do.
The one time I did not use them, I got a run around, over charged and the job was not done correctly.
I highly recommend using Residencial plumbing and heating for all your household plumbing, heating and well issues.
Hands down the best service I've ever got in the valley.

Thank you “ Kelly” for walking me thru a stressful situation over the phone, during this blizzard. Kelly patiently took the time to explain, super knowledgeable, about the issue and went way above and beyond! Talk about community oriented! He even told me the history of plumbers and why they had wrench turning arms! 🤓🤓 Thank you again as all is good!

Do not recommend. They never showed up for my scheduled appointment to fix a leaking toilet and never called to let me know they wouldn’t be able to make it.

I understand falling behind schedule, I understand that appointments that they thought would be quick and easy might turn into nightmares that take way more time than anticipated. I also understand the roads were bad due to recent snowfall. I get that. As such, I would have been disappointed (albeit a little frustrated), but understanding if at any point that day they had just called me to tell me they would be unable to make it. But they didn’t. They never called, they just didn’t show up. All I got from the woman who answered the phone the next day was a disgusted sounding and unprofessional “those guy. Ugh. Those guys”, an insincere apology, followed by an empty promise to check their schedule for the following half day and give me a call back to let me know whether or not they could fit me in. Guess who never called??

Do NOT recommend unless you enjoy wasting your time and not being given the simple courtesy of a phone call.

Kelly and Rick were both very helpful to me regarding a frozen pipe, and then a week later regarding a boiler issue. They returned phone calls, answered all of mine and my wife's questions. They made sure we understood what was going on. They did what they said they were going to do. They took care of the problems in a prompt fashion. These guys were a breath of fresh air in a time when not everyone takes care of business and people like them. I am grateful they run their business the way they do. They should be at the top of your list to call if you have a plumbing or boiler issue in the Valley.

Multiple instances of saying they would be there and either coming several hours later than when they said they would or no-showing altogether, without letting me know.
Multiple reschedules and time spent running for parts and tools that they knew beforehand they would need.
At least twice that office staff had said someone had gone to the technician's house to find him sleeping when he was supposed to be working and more times that office staff said they didn't have any idea where he was.
And after all that, I would have forgiven everything had they done a good job. Especially since towards the end, the boss was coming out to supervise.
But no. After shutting the water off to one bathroom to make a repair, the faucet will get only a dribble of water even with the water turned back on. This same pipe feeds the outside hose bib which also now only gets a dribble of water. And worst of all, when they repaired the tub drain, they had to remove insulation to do so but hey never put any insulation back over the repairs!! Small wonder then that my tub drain froze, cracked, and is now dripping water on the electrical wiring in my crawl space!
I will NEVER call these people again.

We had a backup into our toilets and showers and had pipes leaking into our basement. We called at midnight, just trying to get somebody to come out and help us. Kelly answered went right to trying to diagnose the problem and giving advice, apologizing that he didn’t have anyone to send out to us that night because they all decided to take the holiday off. He spent probably an hour and a half on the phone with my husband, teaching my husband about our plumbing and how to diagnose various problems and, eventually our septic. He ended up saying he thought it was our septic, taught my husband over the phone how to check if it was the septic, and recommended we call a septic guy, when he could very easily have just sent somebody out the next day and charged us for that. He gave instructions on how to get ourselves through the emergency and the next 24 hours until somebody could get out here with a septic truck. Kelly’s advice was invaluable and we learned a lot more about plumbing and our septic than we thought we ever would! I’m praying we don’t have future plumbing emergencies but if we do, we’ll call Residential. Thanks, Kelly!

I called this company when there was a large electricity outage in my area. I have a gas fireplace that I couldn’t figure out out to turn on, but had it running last year.

My call was answered immediately, and the company was extremely professional and knowledgeable. Instead of immediately wanting to charge a service fee to come out and diagnose, he helped go through several steps to diagnose over the phone.

Once he led me though the steps, we were able to get it working! I asked if there was a way I could pay him for his time, and he declined.

This company is kind, honest, and professional. Highly recommend!

Horrible, after Kelly ghosted us on 4 appointments, we finally got him to show up. He came with his grandson who was a delightful child. I entertained and fed the child while he was here. My husband assisted with 60% of the work, Kelly absconded to his truck for 45 minutes looking for a “ brush”. We attempted to pay him by the time it was very late, he refused, said he still had work to do and would be back. Then we received an invoice in the mail and some really nasty calls from Connie.
Do not use this company - they are absolutely no good

Kelly and his team have helped keep my older furnace up and running for-many years and he has been our personal repairman for the last 30years. His team replaced two water heaters, and fixed a plumbing leak from an upstairs shower. Reliable, courteous, professional, and busy. I always know when i call Connie will answer and get me on the schedule somewhere. Recently, Kelly had to fix the furnace again, and with temps at -20 we were grateful he showed up same day. Thank you Kelly, Connie, Rick, Tyler 😊 and the rest of the team. We appreciate you! Julie & Greg Big Lake

After a few calls from Heatsource, which I did not return because I considered it a done deal, finished, Heatsource gave me a full refund. I never asked for one, but I do appreciate it and have amended my review from 1 star to 4. Thank you Heatsource for making it right.

    Buyer beware.
When I called for a quote to perform annual maintenance on my furnace and tankless water heater--including descaling the latter-- I was given a quote of $599. That did not include the $99 dispatch fee, which I was not told about, but I expected something to be charged since all plumbers charge a travel fee, etc When the tech showed up 4 hours late, he was a bit confused when I had a furnace and not a boiler. After I told him it was a furnace and tankless water heater I needed maintenance on, and where he could dump the descaling liquid, he said his work order only had a boiler maintenance on it. After a little discussion, he told me that if I joined the Heatsource Club ($330), I could save on any future dispatch fees. I chose not to join, but told him to do the work--big mistake. Three hours later and a bill for $828, he was done, and in the process, the shutoff valve broke when he tried to turn it back on. I had no hot water, and he said I would have to wait until the next day because the company would have to work out a quote to repair the valve he broke. The next morning they called and quoted me $676 to fix the broken valve. There would be a $99 dispatch fee, so in total it would cost me $775 for the valve they broke. No thanks. I called another plumber and he said he only charges $150 for maintenance and he could fix the broken valve, which would cost alot, but much less than $775. I had him do the work and an hour later after fixing it and recharging the pressure tank (I have well water), etc... he charged me $405. That is $370 LESS than HeatSource. When they say you get what you pay for, they never hired HeatSource. Never again.

Maryann that answers the phone is the heart of this operation. And although I was disappointed that even though there was nothing wrong with my furnace and that I had to pay $178 bucks anyway, Maryann's kindness made it ok.

Joe did a great job and was very knowledgeable on my house heating system. Defiantly recommend HeatSource Mechanical Inc.
