Do not use sun city mechanical. They left me high and dry. They started my AC coil replacement but did not have the skill or experience to finish the job. I had to find another AC company to finish the job and refill the system. They took apart my AC unit , left it partially disassembled and 7 pounds low on Freon then told me there’s nothing else they can do and walked off the job. I emailed the president of the company and she said she’d get back to me and never did. Do not use this company! They deserve 0 stars not one.

What amazing service! My garbage disposal stopped working so I rang Sun City Mechanical and they sent someone out for an estimate the very next day. The plumber arrived in a timely manner, was very courteous and knowledgeable. Able to schedule the repair within 2 business days. Used the same company for a furnace replacement, in a different house, years ago and very pleased with service. Highly recommend!

The handle on our shower was very hard to turn. Manny came out to repair it and did a very good job in a short amount of time. He was very friendly and personable and remembered being here last year for another repair. Excellent service from this company and very nice to deal with. I would highly recommend them.

Manny did a great job at my yearly checkup. I decided to replace my old water heater and he did an awesome job explaining everything to me. They were timely in getting here and got the job done in a very timely manner. This company is very efficient, kind and helpful.

Service was excellent as was the quality of work. (as usual with this company). Have not been disappointed yet. I have used Sun City Mechanical for all plumbing and A/C work for a number of years after being taken for an expensive "ride" with a couple of other outfits They have proven to stand behind their work and treat their customers honestly and fairly. It was clear that our tech, Manny, was an excellent representative of this company.

I am very impressed with the service I have received from Sun City Mechanical. First, a big shout out to Robbie, the technician and Lauren in the office who is very helpful and professional. My air conditioner began to not cool, it would run but the house was just getting hotter. I initially had another company come out, as they had installed my current unit 8 years ago and I have a 10 year warranty with them (ha). They told me I had a leaking evaporator coil and it would cost $2,700 to fix. I reminded them of my warranty and was told that the $2,700 was just for the labor. I decided to get a 2nd opinion and I'm so glad I did. Robbie came out and within 15 min I felt cold air. Turns out the problem was only that my high pressure switch needed to be replaced. He was able to override it so that my house would be cool until the new part came in. That first visit cost $75. Today he installed the new switch. For this visit plus the part the bill is $210. Needless to say, this company won't scam you to make money off of you, they are honest and prices are more than fair. Robbie was on time both visits and very professional. The whole process was seamless and I highly recommend this company. Also, as a side note, I heard about them from my mom who works in real estate. She asked around to several colleagues and the resounding recommendation was Sun City Mechanical. My mom will also be switching over to them now from the previous company noted that had put both of our a/c units in.

Our roof unit wasn’t blowing cold air and it’s was triple digits outside. A friend recommended Sun City Mechanical so we gave them a call. They came out the next day, great communication, and identified our problem right away. It was fixed for an affordable price and we now have cold air. Happy to have found an honest and reliable AC company!

Sun City Mechanical did an excellent job replacing my air conditioning system. Right from my first telephone contact, everyone was friendly, responsive and professional. Jeremy provided a detailed estimate and then returned with Brody for a great installation. Sun City Mechanical provided fast, professional service and competitive pricing. I have found the company for any of my future AC needs!

Sergio was out for our plumbing problem, determined what the problem was, and corrected it in a few minutes. This was the second time he had been to our home for a plumbing problem. We find him to be very knowledgeable, listens to our explanation of what happens and willing to share information to help correct and eliminate future problems. Highly recommended!

Last week, we scheduled a regular AC tune up with another local company and what started out as a really inexpensive tune-up, turned into a laundry list of problems where the proposed solution was a $12,000 duct work and new AC unit combo. Mind you, our AC was working just fine currently, but the capacitor was almost at it's failing point, our ducts were inefficient but doing just fine, and we had one room that had less airflow than the others. We then got a second opinion where they identified even more, but very different problems leading to about the same price-tag.

Enter Sun City Mechanical. That same day, they came out, spent time asking me questions, evaluated what was going on very thoroughly and laid out three options. One of the first options was even that we could choose not to do anything and would probably be just fine for a little while. The level of candor, genuine care, honesty and lack of a pushy sales vibe was spectacular.

Then came the price-tag which was $5,000 lower than the other companies! We signed on for a maintenance program with them immediately and they were out within 3 days to replace our AC system and update our ducts. Everyone we interacted with was extremely professional, respectful of social distancing, and even when we tried to offer them a tip for working so hard in 110 degree heat, they all respectfully declined and said that "you guys are happy, and that's why we do what we do. No extra tip needed!"

So happy we found such an ethical, honest, and fair company and we look forward to being long-time customers!

At Sun City Mechanical they say they do their best to conduct business with honesty and integrity. I'm here to tell you that's what we got. We had another company come out to do a yearly maintenance check. They gave us an estimate of over $1,500 to fix our system. We decided to get a second opinion. We called Sun City Mechanical. Their technician, a knowledgeable and courteous young man, told us our system didn't need servicing at this time. Sun City Mechanical has my business from now on. Thank you.

Sergio Trejo came out and did a full, comprehensive diagnosis and tune-up of our 80 gallon solar water heater. It needed some rewiring, but other than that, Sergio made sure it worked just as well as when HE installed it thirteen years ago!
Wonderful company, great people to deal with. Would recommend this company to anyone who needed a water heater tune-up!

Do Not buy an ac from this company. I purchased a unit in November of 2023.
5/25 the unit is running but not cooling below 82 degrees. It keeps running but it isn't cooling. The scheduler couldn't get a set appointment for me in a week. She had add on appointments that the technician might or might not be able to make. There shouldn't be any issues like this with a new unit and then to not be able to get an appointment within a two weeks time is unacceptable. A technician finally came and said the unit was working just fine and within spec. He lied. The office basically brushed me off, siding with their technician. Another company confirmed that the unit is not within spec ("Not even close")and it has a defective part that needs replacing. SC Mechanical evidently didn't want to honor my free labor warranty so they lied. Do Not use this company. They lie. Zero stars.

I have VERY high expectations and this company never disappoints. From a simple loose wire on my AC, to moving air ducts and a water heater during a recent remodel, these folks are incredible. The shower replacement they did for my 84 year old mother is also first class. I can't recall ever dealing with a contractor who is as honest, fairly priced and communicative as this company. From the front desk to the technicians, we are lucky to have them in the Sun City area. Great job and thank you!

Dishonest company. Alex Casting showed up to my home and took a look at my ac unit that wasn’t working. He supposedly found the issue but did not show up with tools to complete the necessary repair. (Clogged drain line). Simple maintenance issue and he didn’t have tools to correct it. Made promises to show up the next day to repair at no additional cost. He never showed up as promised and office lady (Ashley) could care less that i am still without AC in 100+ degree weather. She made it clear there was no plan for him to be back out and if they did it would be for a lot more money. When i was upset with that answer and asked for a refund she refused.

This place also has billing issues. I used them last summer for a cooling issue and technician took payment at the end of the visit. They never applied the payment to my invoice and i kept getting call after call asking to pay a past due invoice. Each call they apologize for the confusion but never remedied the mistake. NUMEROUS PHONE CALLS LATER AND STILL NO CORRECTION. Today Ashley brought up that i dont pay my bills with them. Super frustrating and disrespectful.

Glad they are deciding to keep my $75 dollars instead of making it right. Will never use them again.

The team came out for routine AC maintenance today. The compressor went bad on them - the unit was only three years old. They sourced the part, came back and stayed past 6pm to be sure we had cold air blowing. Great service and so thankful on this 110 degree day for those repairmen - Team Brody for the win!!

Purchased a unit from this company and they stated they were unable to service that brand of unit anymore. Asked us to go through a new company, which we did, who fixed things quickly without the many excuses we were given. Emailed with an office person who said they would make it right by paying our labor charges from the new company. Never received the supposed “check in the mail!”

Never leave reviews, but would rate zero stars if possible. Double charged both me and my mom for the same invoice and still having issues with refunds/credits two months later. While I would say the people are nice and the work is quality, they do not know how to run a small business and adequately deal with back office issues. Very disorganized office staff that provide a terrible experience.
