Carlos from Pro Tech HVAC was contracted through my home warranty company (AHS) and I was extremely pleased with his professionalism and honesty in getting my unit repaired. He provided the best, fastest service he possibly could due to my warranty company taking some time for a part to be ordered but once it was delivered he came out and immediately installed it properly and explained what had happened. I highly recommend using Pro Tech, Carlos does quality work and his communication skills are on point!

Carlos and David were great. Very personable and professional. They did our bi-annual maintenance on our two AC units for the summer. They were thorough and gave good feedback on needed coil cleaning.

Purchased my unit 4 mos ago w/Pro Tech. Scheduled tune up just to make sure that I am on top of service. Steve came out on the scheduled date. Checked the unit even went in the attic. Very knowledgeable, efficient guy. Thank you

Superior service is in the results! Finally addressed the problems plaguing my heating and cooling that has been going on for the past two years despite having multiple companies come look into the heating and cooling problems we were having. Awesome response time and many financing/payment options available with great interest rates! Best overall experience in 12+ years of receiving repairs or maintenance work in the Buckeye area. Carlos and Armando were both professional and easy to communicate with throughout the job.

Our ac stopped working during the hottest part of the summer and Carlos was at our house checking out the problem within an hour of our phone call. Ended up needing to replace our 13 year old unit and we only had to wait one day for the installation of the new ac. In the meantime Carlos loaned us a portable ac unit free of charge. New unit was installed on time and works great! Very professional and helpful company to work with!

Very disappointed! This is is the company you want if you want a cheap price, scratch and dent system installed and less than perfect install. Carlos and his guys came out and installed a new inside air handler unit with smashed fins. Tried to convince me that a new system comes with damaged evap coils from the manufacturer. If a unit gets damaged in shipping or for any reason, it ends up being sold as a scratch and dent system. The problem is, Carlos isnt forthcoming about what he is doing. Most people assume a new product has no damage. Before he installed the air handler, I brought up the issue of the damage and Carlos attempted to gaslight me. Carlos you lack integrity and are extremely unethical. He then installs an air return grille over my baseboard so I have gaps that allow lint, dust and debris to get past the filter and into the evaporator coils. He also did not clean up the space behind the air filter after a retrofit, turned on the AC and now I have to pay to have someone come out and clean the evaporator fins on a brand new damaged system. He also assured me I would be able to cover the air handler with a door. They started construction, ran into an issue which wasnt anticipated when he first took measurements and now I am left to figure out how I'm supposed to cover pipes that extend past the wall. He didnt check with me to see how I wanted to handle it, he just made the decision. ⁷⁷⁷ If anyone knows how a floating door attached to thin air can be installed, please let me know. These are just the problems I know of.... Stay away from HVAC companies that do work for home warranty companies! They don't have the experience or the reputation to get work and must lean on a home warranty company to keep their business afloat. They purposely will do a subpar install to guarantee your system will breakdown which ensures they will have work in the future. This is great for ProTech and for the home warranty company but as usual the consumer gets screwed!
Thanks to Carlos, my evaporator coils will probably fail and the manufacturer wont honor the warranty because dirt and debris will have caused the failure and that isn't the manufacturers problem. When that happens I definately won't be calling Carlos out for the repairs. I am having the system and the work he did inspected and will update this review if anything else is discoverd.

UPDATE 2 years later:
It's been brought to my attention that the air handler Pro Tech installed is pulling a portion of air from inside of the walls and that air is going into my home. I told the service company that came out that I wasn't at all surprised. I was able to confirm this was true using the bathroom vent fan. While the AC is on and the bathroom fan off a sheet of toilet paper is sticking to the vent. The bathroom fan doesn't vent outside it vents directly into the wall space. I will keep adding any and all details that make themselves known as I'm sure this is hardly the last surprise.

Carlos called ahead of time with an ETA and arrived promptly. He was friendly, professional and very knowledgeable. He even made friends with my dog and not every service person will do that. He was patient with my hearing issues and was kind enough to speak to my son on the phone to help me decide on what to do. Carlos was kind and compassionate with my issues as well as being efficient. I would gladly use ProTech again and would ask for Carlos.

All in all a good experience.... Pro Tech HVAC was the company selected by our home warranty company (First American Home Warranty). Carlos contacted us right away to schedule the initial appointment. The Technician, Thomas Campbell, called when he was on the way.. and showed up when he said he would. He was very thorough in his assessment of the problem (no heat) even going under the house to see if the ducting was connected and intact. We ESPECIALLY appreciate that after First American Home Warranty ordered the wrong replacement coil for our heat pump (the correct model and serial numbers and system info were provided by Pro Tech) Thomas refused to install it... because it would cause major problems in the future.
The correct coil was ordered from Trane, Thomas verified the measurements and model specs before picking it up and installing it. Carlos also verified the correct part was in stock, locally and provided all of the system specifications to First American and spent considerable time on the phone with them and me in order to get the correct part and facilitate a speedy repair. We did consider replacing the entire system, at Carlos' suggestion, but could not manage the cost at this time.... plus our unit is old but has a higher SEER rating that the unit quoted for the replacement, justifying the $1200 cost to us (things not covered by FAHA) Replacing our HVAC will need to happen some time in the future and we will definitely be calling Pro Tech when that time comes.

Carlos and Ricardo were awesome!! Brought me a portable for a few days of relief until AC could be installed. Had the unit installed quickly. Both were so professional and nice. I would highly recommend them for any service or replacement. Good quality and good value for a brand new system. Thank you!!! :)

My warranty set me up with this company to look at my AC, the company called me and told me my home was too tall for them to service and to tell my warranty they couldn’t do it so I did and my warranty company set me up with someone new, but for some reason Pro-tech still showed up and since they showed up before the new company, my warranty said to have them service it. But they of course didn’t have a ladder and said they would go get one and come back. They didn’t come back, they rescheduled my appointment for the next day without even calling me to ask if that was okay, and then after I spoke with the technician and confirmed he would be the same one to come back the next day (I had talked to him about whether he was okay with my dog who I had paid to put in daycare the day they “went to go get a ladder and come back” and he said that he was fine with the dog and that he’d make sure he was the one who came back the next day, since I can’t afford to pay to put my dog in daycare AGAIN after just essentially wasting the time and money to put him in daycare in the first place since they didn’t even do the service) just for them to randomly assign me a new person a couple hours before the new appt.

I had a great experience with Pro tech HVAC. They scheduled the repair within a reasonable time frame. Showed up on time, diagnosed and fixed the issue right away. Carlos was great and very knowledgeable and explained everything so I understood. Highly recommended!!

Carlos and Tom were excellent. My unit broke down on one of the coldest days in Arizona. They came out same day and installed new unit. Both were very knowledgeable and professional. I am very pleased with their customer service. Will definitely use them for any future heating and air needs.

Great experience! After the first company we called failed to bring a tall enough ladder to reach our roof unit, ProTech had someone out to us (with the correct ladder) within an hour. Steve was friendly, explained everything thoroughly, and was highly professional. Will definitely use them again!

I contacted Carlos to come and perform a pre-summer check/maintenance on the two ac units I have on my house. A couple of days after scheduling my appointment, Carlos and his co-worker showed up. They performed a thorough check/service on both ac units that are outside and checked the unit in the attic. One outside unit checked out ok but they found a small freon leak on the other. They fixed it and made sure it was running as it should be. Before leaving, they replaced the ac filters. As usual, great customer service. Carlos and his co-workers go out of their way to perform a great job! I highly recommend him for any ac issue you might. Can't beat his type of customer service!

I was introduced to Pro Tech from my home warranty company. That experience was great. They were prompt and did a great job.

We discussed issues with the dust in our home and Carlos provided us with a whole house air cleaning solution. The quote was very reasonable for 2 Trane units, duct cleaning and sealing. Carlos, Tom and Edgar were here on time and were very careful with preparing the workspace and cleaned everything when done. They were professional and I appreciated their attention to detail while working.

The company was great. Carlos was amazing. Showed up on time, was punctual, professional, and really listened to us. He kept us informed the entire time he worked.
