After reading through their reviews, I called to schedule an appointment for our annual HVAC service. Jacob came out for the servicing and I give him a 10/10! He called when he was on his way which was appreciated. We are fairly new to our home but he figured out where all the necessary equipment was located and took over. He was confident, knowledgeable, and friendly. He provided information on each of the units, such as install dates. Black Mountain will be our HVAC company from here on out.

Bob and His Staff are amazing!!!! They installed 2 new A/C units and did an amazing job! I received multiple bids and not only were they the best price but also the nicest and also always replied right away to me with any questions that I had. I highly recommend them!!!

I can't say enough about Bob, who came out to give me a quote on a new ac unit. He is professional, knowledgeable and thorough. He was friendly, easy to talk to and extremely helpful. His ability to explain details of selecting a unit were outstanding.
In spite of the fact that he was there to sell me a new ac unit, he went back up to the roof to check that my compressor was indeed dead, in case I wanted to repair the unit.
Bob has no "sales pitch", just explains what needs to be done. He noticed that the wiring from the breaker panel to the unit was smaller than it should be. A friend of mine had purchased an ac unit like the one I wanted. The unit never worked quite right. My friend suspected that the wiring wasn't adequate for the unit. He replaced the wiring and no more problem. Both the guy that installed his unit and the guy that installed my old ac unit obviously didn't know this.
Bob suggested a 3.5 ton unit for my situation instead of another 4 ton that was on that apt. A couple days after the installation, I asked the tenant how they liked the new ac. They loved it. Told me that the temperature was more even throughout the apt, making it more comfortable. I found out that an uneven temperature is one of the things that can happen when unit is too big for the ductwork. The guy who installed my old unit (a 4 ton unit) obviously didn’t know that.
So, apparently there are plenty of sales people that aren't as knowledgeable as they should be about some extremely important factors in setting up a new ac unit. Bob is.

One other thing, the other 2 people that I got quotes from gave me verbal quotes. Bob emailed me a quote that was listed everything that was going to be done so I could review it line by line. Very professional.

I would highly recommend BMC for the Rio Verde area. originally i had them scheduled to come out the next day and they contacted me to say they could come out the same day i scheduled the appt. They were polite and did quality work. Also, they did not try and upsell me on anything.

Just had them install an air conditioner. A competitor had been handling our service, but their price was sooo much higher and high pressure sales techniques. Black Mountain very professional and helpful through the process.

I cannot recommend Black Mountain cooling enough. The entire team is so great to work with. We recently had an issue with our HVAC system that required help on a Saturday morning, a Friday evening, and then a Sunday morning (when the temp was heading toward 112!!). Pretty much all the worst times for your system to go down. We worked with Bob, Evan & Jacob and they were all kind, professional and so helpful and knowledgeable. They always called to let us know when they were on the way over. (which is so helpful when you’re trying to stay cool outside of the house while you wait)
I think a lot of the companies out there can perform your regular maintenance. The true performance of a company shows when you’re faced with an actual emergency. With all of the poor timing of our unit deciding to power down.. we really thought our family was headed to a hotel multiple times. But we never needed to go because they took such good care of us. No one wants to pack up the family and spend MORE money on a hotel when you’re dealing with issues like this. We are so grateful we chose to give our business to Black Mountain. They are honest, fair and so kind when you are hot & stressed! I really felt well taken care of in this situation.

I have seen numerous reviews on NextDoor praising BMC. I used them for the first time and couldn't be more pleased. My AC was running but not cooling. I called BMC first thing Monday morning. Evan was at my home at 9:30. He immediately knew the problem and my AC was up and running by 10:15. I will definitely use BMC going forward. Thanks for the great service.

Technician Evan arrived at the scheduled time. He inspected the AC unit that was not cooling. He explained the reason for it and suggested the solution. He was preofessional in his inspection and in explaining the problem as well as solution. I have decided to use his company to provide additional service.
