We’ve had nothing but a great experience with AZ Backyard Lifestyles. From start to finish they did an amazing job. We did our due diligence sourcing about three quotes and theirs was the best value and the best design. From start to finish it was only about three months and they have came out to warranty a few items that honestly was more of a preference on my part than a requirement on theirs but they were still happy to take care of it for me that of which I deeply appreciate because this is our first pool we’ve ever built.

Their communication was great and we get nothing but compliments on our backyard. We would surely use them again for our next.

These guys are totally rare. They do what they say, they show up on time, and deliver a quality product. My husband is a fussy builder himself, and is rarely impressed. He's impressed. They take care of any issues, and you are not personna non grata when you have a problem. In short, Best of the Best!!!

I have a beautiful pool! Communication was excellent through the whole process. All parts of the project went very smoothly.

Pool is currently MONTHS past projected completion date, we paid over $200K and they refuse to complete it as designed and agreed upon. Grotto looks NOTHING like what was designed or promised and they continue to delay and come up with excuses. I could've built a home for what we have paid. I hate it so much I want to sell my house to get away from the monstrosity in my backyard. STAY AWAY. Far far away.

Island Style Pools designed and oversaw the entire construction process and delivered a first class pool on budget and schedule. Everyone was very helpful and we are enjoying our new pool and backyard. Recommend them very highly.

Not sure where to start, but it’s sad when a business that has a brand they claim is built by being a “family owned and operated since 1992” fails to even acknowledge their clients for days and weeks. My family has paid top dollar for a job, and they couldn’t finish it on time yet wanted payments weeks ahead of the work being partially done. The pool was supposed to have enough pop ups for it to self clean, the system can run 24 hours a day and still needs to be brushed. The pergolas aren’t up to code and they could care less.

Run, just run and find anyone else to build a pool for you.

Built our pool as promised. No up charges, no surprises, there were a few things that needed corrections and they were corrected quickly and without additional costs. After one AZ summer our pool is still perfect and hopefully it stays that way.

Signed contract to build me a pool. Home construction was delayed 6 months. Contacted Island Style about the delay they acted like no problem. When home was finished I contacted them and they said I was ready. They tell me that the price is now almost 40% more. Canceled with them bought from another company at $10,000 less. Watch out for these guys they are deceptive. I was under contract that they would not HONOR.

Absolutely terrible company! We never read any of the reviews for this company but should have before we wasted our time with them. Brandan, who seemed quite nice and spent over an hour with us in our backyard with our vision, promised us a fast turnaround time and that their pool would be at any other company's pool because of the type of concrete they used. Apparently the same that skyscrapers use. The warranties sounded amazing as well. We waited a week and at that point I hadn't heard back from Brandan and no one would answer at the office. I left him multiple messages and after the third attempt of calling him with no returned call, I crossed Island Style off my list of potential pool builders for our project. Don't let the nice gestures and hollow promises misdirect you on this pool builder! Stay far away! If you go with this builder, you are likely going to be waiting MONTHS before hearing from anyone after you've put a deposit down. Trust me, there are PLENTY of other builders out there that want the business and will treat you better.

My wife and I signed a pool contract with Island Style Pools on 07/31/2020 since we were told that the price would go up at the start of August. We paid the $1,000 deposit, which we now realize we should have. On 08/17/2020 we informed Evan Price (owner) that we were unable to obtain the necessary financing for the pool, and we asked if Evan could make an exception in regard to returning all or some of the deposit since everything is negotiable, and contracts can be renegotiated. Unfortunately, Evan refused to return any of the deposit. We understand that the contract states that the deposit is non-refundable, but given the fact that we were unable to obtain financing we thought that something could be worked out since Island Style Pools is a local company. We never even made it to the permit stage, so we feel that Island Style Pools did not do $1,000 worth of work. We do not recommend this company, and are now looking at companies such as BYOP (Build Your Own Pool), and Independence Pools since they are marketing themselves as 30% to 40% cheaper than traditional pool builders.

We looked at a lot of pool contractors, we choose Island Style pools small company has been in the valley for years. We loved the idea that is was a family business and the they treated us like family. I was so excited to see our pool being built from start to finished. They were true to their word from excavation less that 5 months. They came in right on time and budget. All vendors were super kind and on time. I kind of fell in love with Island style pools. I referred them to a friend who they have already started building their pool. Honest , family owned. The BEST customer service. When ever we called - with a question we got a live person that answered the phone Tracy and Jeramiah was on it!! Thank you for bringing so such joy to our home- WE LOVE OUR POOL!!! Thank you ISP!!!
