Catalina Pools has been servicing our pool for several years. They are very responsive to any issues we encounter and our pool is always in tip top share. I highly recommend Catalina Pools.

For Catalina Pools, no job is too small. Other pool companies I contacted refused the job. We had our pool completely remodeled by another company in 2021, and Catalina Pools came out and gave us a quote to correctly remove and install decking that was cracking again, and reinstall tile that was buckling, and popping off. I received a detailed quote for the work at a fair price. Once I accepted the invoice, Michael scheduled the work and expert crews came out a week later. The work was completed quickly and now I have peace of mind and my beautiful pool again. I highly recommend Catalina Pools!

Talk about a glow up! My husband and I had been putting off upgrading our pool pump, filter, and pool light for years. Catalina Pools came through and saved us from the noisy, inefficient equipment and non-functioning light. Our new equipment is so quiet that instead of waking me up at night when it kicks on, I’ve had to get up to check that it was working. It was and nearly silently.

The new pool light changes the landscape of our backyard and makes it so much more inviting in the evenings with the ambiance! Their electrician also made sure our external power outlet was working for the first time in years, so I can stop running wonky power cords for our deck lights. I’m just bummed we didn’t do it sooner when our pool was a bit warmer for night swims.

Our pool has never looked cleaner and more sparkly. My husband also doesn’t have to rile up the neighbors with regular backwashing anymore! Winning!

I can’t recommend Catalina Pools enough! They were so helpful in selecting products that work for us and they made the whole process super simple and convenient. They even made sure our dogs didn’t pull Houdini escapes while they were working in the backyard. If you need regular pool maintenance, or larger upgrades, Catalina Pools is the only pool company I recommend!

I've had a number of issues in my backyard that have plagued me for YEARS (pool step cracking open, broken basketball backboard, sinking pavers, and a big pipe sticking up near the pool meant for a pool feature that never got finished and needed to be buried and capped). I've been hesitant to repair fearing botched jobs or being quoted super high. Then I found Michael from Catalina pools. They were fast, fair, and did an amazing job. Catalina Pools was great to work with from start to finish! Communication is key and Catalina Pools kept us informed every step of the way. Like most projects, there were a couple unexpected events and circumstances that were handled fairly and efficiently. Our project required the removal of a cement patio which was assumed to be 4" to 6" thick, but ended up being 10" to 14" thick! Catalina Pools didn't blink an eye and stuck to the original bid even though this ended up being a much more difficult and expensive issue. They added a heatpump, new marble decking, new tile work and a pebble-tec finish on the pool. The project turned out better than we even imagined. Michael and Carl are very easy to work with and are honest businessmen. I would absolutely use Catalina Pools in the future without hesitation!

We would definitely recommend JT and Smoke Alarm Squad for replacing smoke alarms. Their website clearly lays out all of the costs which are reasonable. He was on time and professional. He replaced all the smoke alarms in our 23 year house with 14 foot ceilings. There was never any attempts at upselling at all. Quick and Easy.

Do not recommend. Makes fun of clients who do not agree with his politics and posts on his other profile names on social media. Terrible and likely dangerous for some human.

This company was great! I called and J.T. the owner came out right away and was at my place within 45 minutes. My smoke detectors were chirping and I couldn't reach them on my vaulted ceiling. J.T. discovered my detectors were around 15 yrs old and some were not even working correctly. He explained my options and an hour later I had all new detectors installed at a fair price. I will definitely call again if needed.

From my call to set up an appointment to the day of service, I have experienced top notch service! I highly recommend The Smoke Alarm Squad! J.T. is professional, knowledgeable, polite and most of all warmly friendly. He came on time, asked us some questions, gave his recommendations and did the job without any mishaps; even vacuumed up a small amount of dust that fell when he changed out one of our alarms.
