Walter did not check the air handler said that only the outside unit is checked in summer. Told me there isn't anything to check on the handler anyway. Not sure if he really checked the outside unit, only that he asked for a hose to wash it. Charged me $85 for this and previously told me I would get the seasonal discount.

In response to owner: I called the tech about the handler the very next day..yes, he said he'd come back if I wanted him to...why would it be my decision to have him come back? He never mentioned that if I had a problem he would come back for free. He knew he did half the job when he was here, I questioned him the day he was here. He said that the handler would be checked in the winter and only the outside unit is checked in the summer. The point is, a yearly maintenance check should include the unit/handler. That is what keeps a warranty in tact.

This year it conked out again and he did more repairs for an honest price of labour and parts...Under $500.
Up and working and I will always call BOB first. He undoubtly the best and believes in REPAIR not REPLACE unless it cannot be salvaged...A really skilled fellow who knows his stuff!!!

The guys are working on an existing unit that came with the house today. They are pulling the guts and replacing, rather than changing the whole entire system. We are having them re-run new venting also to have clean new service. it's nice to have a choice to refurbish rather than replace a unit because they are skilled enough to do so. Less goes into the landfill for those of us Green Geeks, and less comes out of my husband's pocket for those who are Price Efficient Geeks!
