Dryer Vent Cleaning quoted me $69 to clean my dryer vent.

First off there were scheduling problems. I booked the service for between 1:00 and 3:00 PM because I knew I would be out of touch in the morning. They called me at 10:40 AM trying to move the service up to 11:00 AM. I was out of touch and didn't get that call. After sending a text saying Noon was the absolute earliest I could do it they called me at 11:00 AM in the middle of a meeting asking why I wasn't picking my phone. I told them I couldn't do it until the afternoon. 3:00PM passed with no service, no call. I finally get a call at 4:30 PM saying they could be there between 5:00 and 5:30 PM. They didn't show up until 6:10 PM.

Once they started working on the vent they quickly told me in a well rehearsed speech, "there is a blockage in your vent". I said "No kidding, why do you think I called you?"

The tech then told me the price would now be $475 to clear the blockage. I complained but reluctantly said yes. They were there about 30 minutes in total. He had very little explanation as to why 30 minutes of work cost $475. They left a bit of mess and the dryer still shows restricted air flow.

Bottom line, they baited me with a $69 quote and then switched it to $475 once everything had been taken apart. For about 30 minutes of work that didn't completely solve the problem.

Don't use Dryer Vent Cleaning Mesa!

My Dryer was able to dry my towels after 3 cycles.
After professional came he told me my vent is clogged.
He able to clean it same day and it start working like new.
Super happy with service and professionalism.

THIS EXACT THING HAPPENED TO ME TODAY BUT WITH A DRYER!!! SAME STEVE SAME DINO! Had a scheduled warranty appt to fix the washer purchased at Spencers. Had the most horrific experience with a technician named Steve. We were insulted and cursed at and the horrible man did not even attempt to fix the washing machine. He tried to intimidate us by saying if we called again, they would charge us. It is pretty clear that Steve represents the type of person this company hires to go into people's homes. We called the manager Dino 3 times and he refuses to take our calls or call back. Which is obviously why this technician was so brazen with his shocking behavior. I strongly recommend shopping anywhere but Spencers because they force you to use this horrible company for warranty repairs. This was the first time calling and the warranty expires in a month. Are they trying to force me to wait so they don't have to make the repair? I have never experienced anything like this before. How is this legal? Who runs a company this way? This is horrendous.... DINO SAYS STEVE IN 27 YEARS HAS NEVER HAD A PROBLEM BUT THIS REVIEW ^ FROM SARA C WAS LAST MONTH. DO NOT SHOP SPENCER'S OR EVER USE THIS HORRIBLE COMPANY!!!!

Terrible experience with this company. They've been out four times to "fix" my washing machine. They've misdiagnosed, brought the wrong part, claimed the part didn't work and on and on. Won't use Centurion warranty or Spencer's Appliances anymore either. Over a month of excuses.

Best Appliance Service AZ has very knowledgeable techs and I was glad to hear they have next day service. That makes a huge difference when my appliances fail to know that I have a local servicer that can get out right away to address the problem. I would highly recommend this service department!!
