Appliance Repair reviews in Mesa, Arizona

I called a few places and they were willing to come out the next day to diagnose my dishwasher. They showed up on time and got it taken care of quickly. I would highly recommend them!

Best Appliance Service AZ is top notched. We needed service on an appliance recently. The tech was dispatched in a very timely manner. The repair was made quickly and at a very reasonable cost.

My service was excellent. The tech was Avery on a 1-10 scale he was 20. Courteous, knowledgeable and well informed on my appliance. Can’t beat a great experience.

I called BASA on Friday and they showed up promptly on Saturday morning! David was the technician who serviced my oven and not only was he was on time, but friendly, professional, and thorough. He fixed my oven within 30 minutes. BASA prices were VERY reasonable at $130 which saved me $$$$ buying a new oven. I’m glad I got my oven checked by them instead of buying a new oven. Thank you so much BASA! I will be using your services again!

Bought a washer and dryer from Spencers 4 months ago and the washer is making the most ridiculous noise during spin cycle. Spencers transfers me to this company and says they will come fix it as it’s still under warranty. Make an appointment. Guy calls to confirm and then calls back he says he’s not anywhere near my house and will need to reschedule. Next date comes and i dont hear anything from him he never shows. I call again and he gives me a time frame he’ll be here for another day. 30 minutes til the time frame is about to be past he says he’s running late but will be here. He comes says its fixed and leaves. The problem is not fixed and a few days later it sounds like the washers got electrical problems and im nervous for my house. He comes back says he needs to order a part. Comes back again replaces the part, washer still is making the original noise and then after 3 cycles its making the electrical noise again. He comes out with a new belt and says oh yeah i put the belt on a little off so it broke again i fixed it it should be good. ITS STILL MAKING THE ORIGINAL NOISE. The lady at scheduling offers no help she just says they’ll keep sending this original guy out who cant seem to figure out the issue and meanwhile is breaking more things inside the washer making it worse. I make one final appointment to have him back out and they call a few hours later to reschedule. I ask why and they say he cant make it that day. Well he shows up that day even though they rescheduled so now im irritated at how bad the communication and lack of employee knowledge they have. He says yeah i dont know what the issue is ill have to ask some coworkers and get back to you. Haven’t heard back. So I had the manufacturer come out and fix it right away he took care of the issue. This place needs some help. Not sure why Spencer’s directs you here just go through the manufacturer.

Worst experience ever. Unit under warranty, still not fixed since September. After five same technician visit, two complaints to the warranty company, finally I get Scott to send the "specialist" to my place after a whole rude fiasco when I asked for the technician to come in the weekend and was told that they are not taking tye technician away from his family on weekend to service my unit, we agreed at Scott , assistant manager,to send the "specialist" next week on Thursday. Thursday comes technician calls and said he will be in the afternoon stating he didn't get any message of coming to my house in the morning. Called Dino , the manager and said the same thing. Called Scott, getting different story saying he did notify the technician about the appointment time. Dino also said I was being rude after telling him there's in accountability and saying maybe he should put someone else in charge when he is away. Called the warranty company, didn't get anywhere with them either. They were told a different story that they couldn't sent the technician to my house that morning and had to send him at another location.. now we have three stories. The warranty company said that they did the responsible thing by offering to send someone next morning. Did anyone asked me if I would be available? So bottom line, if you buy appliances please make sure you know who is the warranty company, the contract repair company and any red flags on ani if these ry the opposite direction. Having warranty doesn't mean headaches free, you are limited to who you call for repairs

Had a scheduled warranty appt to fix the washer purchased at Spencers. Had the most horrific experience with a technician named Steve. We were insulted and cursed at and the horrible man did not even attempt to fix the washing machine. He tried to intimidate us by saying if we called again, they would charge us. It is pretty clear that Steve represents the type of person this company hires to go into people's homes. We called the manager Dino 3 times and he refuses to take our calls or call back. Which is obviously why this technician was so brazen with his shocking behavior. I strongly recommend shopping anywhere but Spencers because they force you to use this horrible company for warranty repairs. This was the first time calling and the warranty expires in a month. Are they trying to force me to wait so they don't have to make the repair? I have never experienced anything like this before. How is this legal? Who runs a company this way? This is horrendous.

Best service on appliances ANYWHERE! Finding a good service center for appliances, or anything , is very difficult. When I came across this company I was relieved when they made the scheduling so easy and when they came to fix my refrigerator they were in and out and very thorough. They had to order a part for my icemaker and they came back a week later and fixed it. No issues, no hassle, no hidden fees. A good experience that I will be telling everyone about.

Another service provider recommended BEST APPLIANCE SERVICE. Now I know why.
CORY, was outstanding. He explained what was the problem with our Dryer. Proceeded
To repair and explained the details as he fixed our problem. I absolutely will call them again.
Thanks for being a great, professional organization. -
I’m a happy customer! Two weeks ago I needed my LG front load washer repaired because it was making noise like something was in the pump. Sure enough, some hair clips from my daughter found their way through to the pump. They were quick to resolve my issue within 72 hours of my initial call. Pricing was fair and Service was great!

Just want to share how happy we are with Corey W from Best Appliance Service AZ. He looked at our ice maker & said needed new one, had right one with him, & replaced it in less than 20 minutes. He was so pleasant & ON TIME!! This ice maker works well & so much quieter than the original one. Nyla & Dave

We have always had great service on Spencer's appliances from this company.

Tech's seem knowledgeable. Customer service and communication is straight up terrible and lazy. It's been 3 months since their technician ordered a part for the brand new fridge we purchased at Spencer's, and still no update. He originally said it would only take 4-6 weeks. Then, after calling them, they skipped over my question about the part in question being available, and went straight to scheduling an appointment. I had to slow them down to confirm the part was indeed available before they sent a random tech for the third time. This place has also gotten my phone number wrong twice, even after correcting them. It's the same number that's listed on my Spencer's invoice if they bothered to do a little research. They also lied when they claimed I was a no-show at my own house during their initial appointment even though I was home all day. When I asked to confirm the name of the person coming to my home to install the part, the lady hung up on me. Their customer service is rude, accusatory, and lazy.

Horrible service. Been waiting over a month for a part that they said would be a couple days. Then 7-10 days, now trying to get ahold of a manager to assist and he wasn’t available because he left already (3:00 PM). So they can’t even tell us status on a part that has gone from a couple days to 30 days and they need to check status. Unfortunately can’t trust Spencer’s as the seller nor Best as their recommended service advisor. Also can’t get ahold of a manager to assist. Would just recommend starting with a different provider. Best Buy has better service, that’s scary.

Best Appliance Service AZ lives up to their name. We were having issues with our washer so my husband called and they had someone out the next day - we live in Maricopa. Tech David is very knowledgeable and knew immediately what the issue was. He didn't have that particular part on him so he drove back into town to get it, then drove all the way back out to complete the job. David even started the load of laundry that had been sitting locked in the washer for days! I highly recommend Best Appliance Service AZ - Thank you for taking care of us so quickly!

I ordered a Frigidaire refrigerator from Spencer‘s in November 2024 by December 2024 it started making this really loud buzzing noise so I called Spencer’s and they had someone sent out to look at it. The guy came out and even though the refrigerator wasn’t making the noise at the time he came out, I had taken a video and he listened to it. I sent him the video and he was going to show it to his colleagues. I never heard back from anybody! I even reached out two times to the technician who never responded to my text. I’m really disappointed in Spencer‘s and this company that they use. I’ve read other reviews similar to mine. Very disappointing.

We have a six month old Samsung refrigerator… Best appliance sent three different technicians out to our home promising two different parts 3 1/2 months ago. We have not heard anything from them for a month so I called today and they said the part was delayed And they weren’t sure when it was coming in. We ended up by having to hire an appliance repair to come out and best appliance offered no compensation just an apology. Sorry we will cancel your order. Extremely poor customer service and no follow through!

This morning I had my 4th warranty appointment, since mid April, to fix a washing machine I purchased at Spencer's with a 4 year extended warranty.
I have had an ongoing problem with my washing machine making loud intermittent and sometimes constant grinding noises.
This morning (6/6/25) the repair technician arrived and listened to my washing machine in the wash cycle with none of the grinding noises previously described. But he did watch a video of it I had recorded on my phone. He has also watched video I recorded of it on a previous warranty call.
The technician made an unsolicited comment that he could not stay and watch the whole wash cycle. He left without any other examination of the components or diagnostic tests.
This afternoon (6/6/25) my washing machine again starting making loud, intermittent grinding sounds.
I telephoned Best Appliance again and expressed my aggravation about the situation and to request a different repair technician.
I was transferred to a manager named Scott McKAtee. I explained the ongoing situation and requested a different repair technician. Scott told me that if my washing machine wasn't making the grinding noise consistently it wasn't "broke." Scott made an unsolicited comment that their repair technicians can't stay and watch a complete wash cycle and I needed to call the extended warranty provider.
Scott's rude, short and unapologetic telephone demeanor does not lend itself well to good customer service! If Best Appliance Service AZ is or was affiliated with Gold Wing Appliance Repair with a BBB grade F and 1.6 star rating, I understand why!
This experience will make me re-think any future purchases from Spencer's TV and Appliance! -
How can I leave more stars? 5 wont do it!.
We own many residential real estate rentals in Phx Metro. We do our best to take care of our tenants. We bought a Kitchen Aide appliance package 15 months ago for a rental in North Scottsdale. Of course the fridge goes out a few months after warranty ended.
The extended warranty company contracted the repair with Best Appliance Service AZ and they assigned "Little Adam" as our technician.
Adam went way over an above to get us running again. I am an engineer, so I can say with authority, he knew his stuff. Adam identified the root cause quickly AND then checked to see if that part failing caused other issues with other components; and it did. He fixed the fridge properly 1st time so we will not need to call them back again in a month for another failure.
Adam had skills, a great attitude, presented and communicated well.
My tenants are thrilled , I got a quality repair and Best Appliance Service AZ got a new long term customer!
You guys are appreciated!
Thx Ron -
Worst appliance repair service. First washer I bought through Spencer’s stopped working after a week or two. It took them about a week and a half just to come out to look at the washer. Tech looked at it for running for maybe ten minutes and said it was the cold water valve so it should work fine in the hot setting while the part comes in. Washer wouldn’t work in any way and kept spitting out codes so they said they would order the electronics board just to be safe but they had no idea when they would receive the parts. The part was supposed to be delivered in ~1-2 weeks but I was strung along for almost two months before I finally called Spencer’s to complain. Manager at Spencer’s gave me a second one just for it to have similar issues after a week again. Now I’m stuck in the same cycle with these people. Had to take half a day off work to ensure I’d be here when they took a look at the washer and they never showed up within that window they said they would. Now I’ve missed four hours of work and my washer is still broken. Terrible service. DON’T BUY APPLIANCES FROM SPENCERS.
