Really appreciated Jimmy B. His explanation during his inspection and diagnosing gave me great confidence in his abilities. His charges were most reasonable. We will certainly call him again when needed for our A/C needs.

I had an amazing experience, I called a few other companies and they didn’t follow up with me and the ones that did asked for an arm and a leg. These guys were responsive and professional. I felt they were knowledgeable and honest and I’m glad I went with them. I will be sure to give them a call anytime I need them.

Absolutely horrible customer service. Set an appointment and I left work early to meet them only to have them No-show! I called to find out what happened and was told by the scheduler she would find out and call me right back....no call back. When I called the next day she told me, "sorry about that I fell asleep". The next available appt wasn't for another 8 days because my situation wasn't an emergency, and I couldn't take another day off of work to accommodate them. I am disgusted and would never recommend this company.

Extremely great service. Replace an old air conditioner and the results have been great. Minuteman had proven to be professional and i am very satisfied with their service, from receptionist through technicians. Highly recommend.

Avoid this company! We paid $16,000 for two new units. They installed smaller units than we paid for (15 seer instead of 16 seer) which we didn't find out about until SRP declined the rebate. We just had a one-year service done by another company and were told we need $4,000+ in repairs because everything was installed incorrectly. They will not respond to phone calls and they even stole all of our paperwork and warranty books. I'm currently researching what my options are legally, but don't want anyone else to fall victim to these corrupt criminals. Stay far away!

Anthony of Minuteman home services did an electrical job for me. He was courteous, professional, and very efficient. Would be very comfortable having him back to do more work TAKE MY NAME OFF THIS! I DID NOT GIVE YOU PERMISSION TO CIRCULATE MY NAME ON THE WEB! TAKE MY NAME OFF THIS!!!

My name is Tom Cashman owner of Cutting Edge Components. I was contracted by Ernie the owner of Minuteman Home Services to building custom cabinets for one of his clients.

I provided Ernie with a full set of drawings to show his client what her kitchen was going to look like when complete. Ernie sold the job to his client and paid me a deposit to start the project.

Ernie and his client had a falling out while he was working on her project. Ernie walked away from the project leaving the client with an unfinished kitchen. I know this because I still have some of her cabinets in my shop.

I have contacted Ernie several times trying to recover the $6,500.00 unpaid balance with absolutely no luck. Ernie left his client with an torn apart unfinished kitchen and a $6,500.00 unpaid balance.

I have filed a small claims lawsuit against Ernie but he has dodged the processor server several times. I made a complaint with The Registrar of Contractors as well as The Better Business Bureau.

This guy is no good!

Very questionable business practices; avoid doing business with Minuteman. I'd give zero stars if I could. My elderly parents called Minuteman to solve a simple problem: They weren't getting hot water quickly to their farthest faucet. They have a recirculating pump on their water heater that's supposed to keep the hot water circulating but, the timer was off. Ernie Merrill, General Manager/Owner of Minuteman, visited them and somehow talked my frail dad into replacing his perfectly good water heater, replacing his perfectly good recirculating pump, replacing his perfectly good water treatment system, installing a new whole house water filter and a new reverse osmosis system in their kitchen...all to the tune of $6,800.00, and he took a $3,500 deposit from them. His written estimate was a complete joke; most of the stuff he proposed to do was not on the written estimate. Ernie said something about codes on the sheet that only he knew how to interpret. Fortunately, my parents cancelled the contract within the 3-day period. Hopefully, they will get their deposit check back uncashed (banks aren't open today). Look at the reviews for this company on the BBB website, on Yelp, and on Google. They are not, for the most part, very good. The BBB complaints are particularly disturbing. I spoke to Ernie and exchanged text messages with him; he was particularly concerned that I was besmirching his reputation. He doesn't need my help...all you have to do is a little research online...he's done a very good job of trashing his own reputation.

We have used them for a couple of years now and have been very pleased with all their services. They are always on time and very thorough and clean. Jimmy has been our main service man and he is fantastic. We would definitely recommend them to everyone.

They were nice on the phone, had to reschedule me two times but when they showed up they declined to service due to my house being two stories and the AC was on the roof. I wish they told me that on the phone or asked if I had a two story house. Just a heads up for anyone using their service to not use them if you have a two story house with roof AC

These people have become more like trusted family..... so honest and reliable! Herb came right on the scheduled time and took care of out maintenance, explained everything to a tee. Cleaned up so you would never know anyone was around....great company with great employees. Well trusted and HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!!!!!

This company cannot follow up and service what they have installed. We spent thousands of dollars for a new water heater and filtration system. Our filtration system is now leaking but they have nobody to come a repair. This was installed only 4 months ago. I called them twice and have been told they just have no one to come out to fix my system. I am furious. I feel we have been used and scammed. I WILL NEVER RECOMMEND THIS COMPANY AGAIN. DO NOT HAVE THEM DO A THING IN YOUR HOME!!!

I never give bad reviews. I always feel they might have had a bad day. BUT THIS COMPANY IS A RIP OFF. I called and asked for an appointment, told EXACTLY what I needed repaired, and they said no problem. They came out said no to repairing something pretty basic. They said they don't repair and only replace faucets and wanted to charge me 1000 bucks to fix two leaks in the kitchen and bathroom sinks. They said they would fix what I know to be repairable. I have someone coming tomorrow to fix it two leaky sinks. Both things would take a real plumber less than 90 minutes and one trip to Home Depot. Avoid these liars. I never leave bad reviews. They deserve this.

After noticing my AC not turning off (July in Phoenix) I called Minuteman to schedule a maintenance visit. Herb came by to give what I hoped would be a tune up. He explained to us that the condenser and air handler was very old and on its last leg. He gave us a great breakdown and offered us multiple brands with different sear and tonnage ratings. We selected a air handler / condenser package we liked. The team came out the next week and installed both units. Our house is considerably more comfortable and the AC is running a fraction of the time as the old system.
I was very happy with all aspects of dealing with the Minuteman Team. The price was fair and I didn’t feel pressured to purchase something I didn’t need. Thanks Herb and Minuteman!!

Jimmy P. Took good care of us. He was completely honest and down to earth. We were originally going through our home warranty company (First American). The warranty company sent Prestige Mechanical to replace our unit. Prestige Mechanical turned out to be a disaster. They tried to rip us off and wouldn't answer or return our calls. Jimmy P. stopped by and under bid them by 1500$ and put in a better more efficient unit. Thank you for your service and professionalism. Great work!

The Minuteman team was great! Our AC was not working, and they were able to respond quickly, diagnose the issue and provide an affordable solution. We got quotes from 3 different providers and Minuteman had the best pricing for the units we wanted. They were professional from start to finish and we paid exactly what they quoted. I would recommend them to anyone and will be using them in the future.

We were very impressed with the prompt and courteous service we received from Minuteman Home Services. The plumber explained what was wrong and how he was going to repair it. The leak in our backyard was fixed. The cost was reasonable.
We will definitely call them again for any home repair we may need in the future.

We made a call for services on our hot water heater and routine flushing and an appointment was arranged promptly and we appreciated the quick response ….the Minuteman Rep was very prompt on the arrival date ...and completed the flushing and further checking of our water heater making sure all was working properly......very professional service and the pricing and quality from Minuteman was very acceptable. We were very pleased....and would recommend Minuteman Home Services in the future......Rep..Dave was outstanding..! In conclusion, about 2 weeks later we noticed a small leak from the drain of the heater and contacted Minuteman again....received a callback promptly and had a Rep out to our home the next day......lo and behold ….It was the same Rep..Dave…….who corrected the leak...seams it was a plastic or rubber o-ring...all this corrected again......this company stands by it services and would recommend them highly....will not call anyone else when it calls for home services..!!!!!

I hired Minuteman to replace a water heater, then I read the reviews. I was concerned! I called Wally up and asked him about the reviews, he did not try to make excuses, but said that he just wanted to provide the best service possible going forward. Great service is what I got. The plumber worked fast and efficiently, the job was done thoroughly with explanation all along the way. The price was exactly what was quoted. The mess was cleaned up afterward, and I got a follow up call after 2 days to make sure everything was working well. I am pleased that I gave them a chance, because it payed off well for me.
