SO GRATEFUL for this business and Eddie! We needed a part for our furnace and it was impossible to find it day of vs. online and waiting. Discount A/C Outlet sells to the public, had our hard-to-find part, and Eddie was super generous with his time to look in his shop and then find a way to get it to his shop for us to pick up that day. We really needed that part and it was a huge deal that we were able to get it! Thanks MUCH!

All I can say is that Eddie is the man!!! My house had been without air for 3 days and my warranty company and contractor assigned were of no help (they wanted me to be patient and tough it out over the weekend). I came into A/C discount and Eddie was not only very pleasant but very knowledgeable as well. I had never worked on A/C units before but Eddie provided great guidance and made me feel comfortable during installation. I called him after hours and he walk me through the whole process. That to me, is going above and beyond. I will highly recommend Discount A/C and will be my go to place for any future A/C needs.

    Thank you, Eddie.

Outdoor AC condenser fan seized on me. I looked online and indeed I did find it cheaper. But I decided to go with Discount AC Outlet due to their customer service and one year warranty on their product. They had me bring in my old fan and they rewired the new fan to match my old one and added a capacitor, giving me verbal directions and pointers making my project a easy plug and play situation. My dad and I were able to get everything back together in less than an hour. So yes, I probably paid $100 more than getting it online, but overall I saved $450 by not getting it done by a so called specialist. The prices those guys charge for something so simple is ridiculous ($700, really???). Also the verbal advice and customer service made my life that much easier. So I consider it $100 well spent.

The outside fan motor went out in my Ac unit. I called Discount AC and asked about how difficult it is to replace something like that (I wasn't quite sure if I was mechanically savvy enough to do it myself). They were VERY nice over the phone and extremely helpful. I brought the assembly over to their store and not only did they give me a great price, but they replaced the motor on the assembly for me and walked me through EXACTLY how to reassemble everything when I got home. They gave me the confidence I needed to do the job myself and I saved a lot of money by not calling out a professional. Works awesome now! Can't recommend them enough!

Excellent customer service. The owner helped me diagnose my AC unit over the phone and tested my bad part for free. He helped saved at least $100 dollars or more from calling an AC service tech in the valley. As long you know the basics of electrical repair id buy from this store to fix any AC

My AC recently went down for the 2nd Summer in a row for the same problem, the blower motor in my air handler was overheating and shutting off. I went to buy another new motor and explained my problem to Eddie, immediately he suspected I had a condenser fan motor in the air handler. Instead of just selling me the part I came in for he helped me figure out the part I actually needed AND helped me wire it up correctly.
Extra big thanks to Eddie for saving my summer!

This place saved me $400 at least. The cheapest price quote from an AC company to come out on a Saturday and replace the condenser motor was $800. Eddie helped rule out the capacitor and helped mount a new motor to the grate and move the blades over when we brought in the old one. All done in short order on a Saturday for $300 (I got a new cap as well just to be sure).

New motor works great and the unit is back up and running. Eddie was knowledgeable and empowering. I’ll be back to this place.

My A/C unit was tripping the breaker. I had put on a new breaker 3 weeks ago. Yet yesterday evening after work, my home was hot at 82 with the thermostat set at 78. My A/C repair man couldn't get to me as he was booked. He did tell me that he suspected a weak capacitor. I try some repairs, so I went searched A/C parts and went to Discount A/C outlet in Mesa today. I was thrilled with the knowledge and amazing customer service provided by Eddie! I assumed he was the owner due to his genuine concern for educating the customer before me and then me. Eddie knows A/C systems and parts and on top of that, he is super nice and genuine. I still can't believe that he's not the owner due to his knowledge and service. He explained to me that I needed 2 capacitors, 1 for the compressor and 1 for the fan. The price for my 2 new capacitors was $70 including tax and a 1 year warranty. My system is now working perfectly. The owner has a great A/C parts and complete unit pricing and he/she is blessed to have Eddie on the team!

Was referred to call Eddie at his store from a friend of mine. Explained what was going on with my Ac and brought my blower motor to him. Yes, it was fried. He explained everything in VERY detailed important info for my installation. My experience with this company went above and beyond my expectations!!! P.s. This review is my first ever! Prices were cheaper than what i found online. Also, i took pictures of his card to share with friends and family. If you're looking to stay cool in Az, I recommend this company!

If you are not a contractor/professional ac person this is not the place for you. No return policy so buyers be warned. I found the owner quite combative when I said that "I guess it is buyer beware". And I'm saying combative because he actually called me a jerk for saying that and wanting to just leave with my part. If you're a pro then I'm sure it's fine. And FYI I looked up the 80 MFD round capacitor on Amazon and it was $29.00 he charged $64.00. So much for trying to support the small independent business.

My husband has been coming to you for years trying to keep our old unit going. Now that we finally replaced it, he came to you for our new unit. Eddie was on the phone with my husband last night helping him troubleshoot an error with installation. We did that ourselves but without the kindness, care and concern of Eddie, it would have been a much more difficult project. You just don't see customer service and care like this anymore. Thank you Discount AC and Eddie for years of excellent service and professionalism. I highly recommend this business for all your ac needs! Perfect!

Discount A/C has always be very helpful with any of my A/C related needs. I have purchased multiple capacitors and fan motors for my A/C system. They are quick to help and give me guidance. I purchased new fans blades today and the cost was minimal. When it is time to replace my units, my first and only call will be to Discount A/C in Mesa.

DIY project went sideways when I unknowingly purchased and installed the wrong blower motor from Amazon.
I figured the motor was wrong because it only had 5 wires and not 7. Talking with Eddie on the phone, he asked me to text him pictures of my motor and the new Amazon motor I had installed. He told me, your issue is that the original motor is 115V and the new Amazon motor is 240V. I don’t know how I missed that. The motor worked but was running on a very low speed. He told me I might be able to return the Amazon motor and swap it for a 115V. He was so helpful I decided to return the Amazon motor and buy his motor even though it was $50 more. Before I spoke with Eddie I called 4 different HVAC suppliers in the area and was quoted around $350. Eddie charged me $250 including capacitor. The new motor Eddie sold me fixed my original issue. I plan on bringing all my DIY HVAC service to Eddie at The Discount A/C Outlet in the future. 5/5 in customer service, price, and product quality.

Eddie really helped me out. His awesome knowledge saved me money and time. It was the third shop I went to, and he was the only one with a working know how. Thank you again for helping me help my AC!

Eddy is always there for us. He gets things done for an affordable price and is always willing to help. I feel a let safer living in the valley with access to AC equipment that most won't sell me. Thanks Eddy !

    ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

I don’t know much about A/C systems, so when my A/C suddenly stopped working, I was completely lost. I suspected the capacitor might be the issue, so I took some pictures and called The Discount A/C Outlet for help. From the start, they were incredibly helpful. I described the problem and sent the photos, and they immediately told me which capacitor I needed.

When I got to the store, the guy at the counter didn’t just sell me the part—he actually tested it, confirmed it was faulty, and then walked me through exactly how to change it, step by step. He even explained other possible issues based on the symptoms I described, in a way that was easy for someone with no HVAC experience to understand.

After replacing the capacitor, my A/C still wasn’t working. I went back to the store with the fuses and capacitor in hand, and again, they tested everything and talked me through it. What really blew me away was that they diagnosed the real issue without even seeing the unit. I followed their advice, made the fix—and the A/C started working perfectly.

These guys are the real deal. Super knowledgeable, honest, and genuinely want to help. I would 100% recommend The Discount A/C Outlet to anyone, especially if you’re trying to fix something yourself but need expert guidance.

This Place is a life saver, Its Labor Day 2025, my condenser motor went out yesterday evening. Luckily the hottest part of the day was over with and the night was uncomfortable it was bearable. I totally forgot that all The HVAC wholesale parts house's were closed due to the holiday. a quick look at the Google Maps i found The Discount A/C Outlet. I was surprised that this place was less than 10 mins away from my home and I was there right at 8am when they open. I brought in my burned out motor in and forgive me for not getting the guys name, i was just happy that they were open and they had my motor i needed. He was very helpful and asked if i have installed this before, and i told him i was an ex A/C tech, i felt embarrassed to tell him that it was actually over 15 yrs, closer to 20 yrs since i had done this before. I did ask him some basic questions that i had forgotten and he was very helpful and gave me instructions on how to install this. This just confirmed and gave me the confidence to do the install. got back home and slapped the new condenser in and i was up in less than an hour. I just want to thank The Discount A/C Outlet for being there for the public and being very helpful to all us DIY type of guys out here! I will recommend this to everyone i know that needs help with getting the parts they need for their A/C units. GOOD JOB to THE DISCOUNT A/C OUTLET!!!!!!!! 100 Stars!!!!!!!

I would give more stars 🌟 if I could
Eddie is very close to being a life saver!!!

    Note: Long review 😁

I have basic to intermediate mechanical skills
I was able to diagnose that my fan condenser motor was not functioning.

I ordered an AC fan motor and took pictures of the wiring. Confident I could just rewire it back the same way. But it was a four wire system versus a three wire system so basically I just needed to know where to connect the extra wire
I called the manufacture of the fan motor. I spoke to a technician and they were confused. I spent literally hours and hours and hours searching YouTube and the Internet on how to connect the extra wire. Don’t get me wrong. I gained some valuable information on YouTube.

I joined a subscription based DIY online service where you talk to experts in plumbing, electricity, HVAC etc. The HVAC expert was very timely and responsive. I sent him schematic. I sent him pictures. I explain to him it was a simple 3 to 4 wire operation. I sent him short videos. He was zero help. He seemed to be confused unfortunately.

I was frustrated. I decided to buy a motor locally here in Mesa, send my motor back, and have the technical person selling me the motor tell me how to wire it because it had been three weeks and it was getting hot.

After a Google search, I saw Eddie’s Company had really really good reviews and quite a few. So I called Eddie up and told him my story and said I’m going to send my motor back and I’ll buy a motor from you if you show me how to wire it. It was close to closing. Eddie then said, let me give you my cell number. No, you don’t have to buy a motor from us, send me a picture of the motor and the wires.
After seeing the fotos He told me where the wires go, and in 10 minutes it was fixed. The other technicians I sent them schematics I sent them videos. I sent them pictures and they were unhelpful.

I cannot recommend this company and Eddie enough!!!

BTW: My friend paid 1,400 dollars to an AC company to fix his AC and found out later that his unit could have been repaired and serviced for about 350 dollars.
Needless to say he asked for a referral as he had ditched the previous company already.

I had a fan motor on one of my outside units fail. I called a “professional” company to come look at it. They weren’t interested in anything other than trying to sell me a complete new system. After a couple of nights of no A/C, I decided to figure it out myself. I showed up at The Discount A/C store. Eddie helped me get the correct fan motor. He explained in detail how to wire it. He gave me his business card and told me to call or text his cell number if I needed any help. I did end up needing some clarification. Eddie was prompt to respond and guided me in the right direction. With his help I was able to get the A/C back up and running. Eddie’s customer service is outstanding. His efforts to go above and beyond for his customers ensures that I know where I will return in the future if/when I have another issue. Ultimately Eddie saved the day and a lot of money for me!
