I was over charged for the job performed. They only found water staining on the drywall, so drywall needed to be repaired. The workmen did cut several holes and poke holes to make sure there was not any other water that we could not see, so this was good. Containment was done. I am concerned that the containment was not done properly because it has gaps, and does not have the 3 stages built into it. I have a medically fragile child, so containment for even dust is important.

It was a pleasure to work with the staff at ServPro North Central Mesa. All the employees we dealt with were nothing but pleasant to deal with. The owner of the company came to the property very fast due to a water emergency we had. They were very professional and the work they did helped keep the room from being a complete loss.

While the employees were decent the damage left behind was worse than from the flooding. If not for the insurance company making payment without my authorization I would have had some recourse. There was a considerable amount of damage to the closet and room doors caused by the machinery that was used for extraction. South Ridge in Mesa, I will a picture of the damage.

I've told you about my day w/ the repair people on Wed...all things repaired and back to working with the first 8 hours of the day..first crew arrived at 9:30 AM....3 guys...brought in a "air" cleanser..hooked it up and while they cut out the back wall of the closet..part with black mold on it..and the cleanser ran..and they packed up and left..Next came the crew that moved all the stuff out of the way and by cutting on the water, we found the pinhole..yes..no bigger than the head of a pin...in the pipe..no further mold found behind the wall..slightly damp wood...not necessary to replace..and this bunch left..Finally, the plumber showed up..cut on water again so he could locate the hole..by 5 PM..the same day..I had running water..running hot water by 6 PM..and life was good once more...
Then, today the phone rang..was Cary who handled the billing and USAA claims...are you sitting down?? The first good news was USAA had called her and they found a mistake they made with the claim...They found I had more coverage that first thought. Well, I started to fall apart at this kindness...The Servpro company had all these people that worked for them. A BIG SHOUT OUT TO SERVPRO OF NORTH CENTRAL MESA. After 2 failed attempts of getting this taken care of..one phone call to this company and head honcho PAUL FROST..and he caught the ball and ran with it..and his people not only knew how to do the job, but didn't dilly dally around it.
The Servpro company had all these people that worked for them..applied to black mold removal, removing the back wall..half of it..with the mold on it..finding and repairing the leak, cleansing the air of black mold..AND running water? Hot and cold?? "Yes, Virginia, there is a God..and He is a mighty God..and yes..there is a Santa Claus too...I am feeling very blessed and amazed how this thing has turned into such a blessing..meeting all these great people...and getting such service from them compared to the "nothing" the first 2 companies did..and dragged for 4 months..If you ever need hardworking, spot on people who know what and how to do with a situation like water damage..I highly recommend Servpro.of North Central Mesa AZ ...Heck of a story , right?? and now..THE END..

The Frost family is a delight to have met and strive to make anyone feel welcome. I am eager to meet them again and hopefully work with them soon. Not only do they run an effective operation but they are ethical and understanding as well.

Kevin Frost went out of his way to disassemble my recumbent bike . I have a two story house, he had to disassemble and bring downstairs to be picked up. He was very nice & respectful of me and my home .

I spoke with Bridget and explained the problem and that I was out of the country she went into action. They were at our home within the hour.
Our representative met them at our home, they set up and began the clean up process.
When that was completed and drying was to their approved rate we spoke with Paul and Adam who gave us a competitive quote. Keep in mind we received quotes from 5 different contractors. We choose servpro to do the restoration work and could not have made a better choice. We just got pictures of the completed job and WOW you can not tell that work was ever done. No Patch marks, paint was a perfect match we could not be happier and all was done from 4000 miles away.
