We decided to replace our 15+ year old ac with a Bosch system. I got estimates and had discussions with three locals from the Bosch approved list. All three were well qualified and within a close range.

What distinguished State 48 Home Services started with Sean’s estimate visit. I had done my research, and Sean answered all my remaining questions. We settled on a “hybrid” heat pump and air handler combo that was a little less expensive but still qualified for the federal tax credit. When I asked about “interest free” financing, he showed me how much that would cost up front. First time a contractor has been that honest.

Stacy worked hard to get our install done ASAP, but listened to and accommodated our schedule restrictions.

Matin and Sayber and one other man did our installation. They were patient while I intruded and took pictures of things I would not be able to see later, like the plenums before and after the air handler. Sayber installed the thermostat independently and ensued I knew how to set up the app.

Martin ran his team professionally, and handled those issues that always pop up like the prone is. He communicated with me frequently and ensured I was aware of complications. He listened to some off the wall suggestions without disdain, listening carefully and letting me reach my own decisions.

I highly recommend the team at State 48. As a bonus, I learned that the owner hires recent graduates of tech training programs to work with his experienced staff to grow their skills. The upside is that qualified experts stay that way by teaching novice journeymen.

Great experience from State 48 with Sean and Stacy. They installed our new units 4 years ago and came back out for our seasonal prep. Friendly and flexible service as we had to reschedule due to rain but also very thorough as always. Showed me mfd ratings on caps, checked amperage on all components, and provided images of all. Also great advice on options for a hot room where I can likely just add a wall vent to get the performance I want when most other companies are more than happy to just throw more returns and vents in at a higher cost.

I highly recommend State 48 for a new AC system! Pete came out and looked over all of our 18 year old equipment, he spent extra time in the attic identifying why we had a room that was always several degrees warmer than the rest of the house. They were able to reroute some ducting and now the room is very comfortable. We shopped 3 different companies and chose State 48 because of their honest straight forward approach to business and Peter taking the time to want to fix our hot room. The other bids we got said it was normal to have hot rooms and did not take the time to even attempt to fix it. We ultimately decided on the Rheem units and have been very happy with the performance so far. Stacy in the office was excellent with communication and follow through, she even went above and beyond and registered our warranty with Rheem for us! Martin, Loui and Sayber did excellent work, were kind, courteous of our home and put down special tarps to walk on as to not damage our white carpet. They even identified another piece of duct work in the attic that was pinched and took the extra time to fix that as well. The thing that impressed me the most is after the install they sent out Sean to QC the entire job, validating everything was done correctly. I have never seen a company provide that extra level of service, top notch! This company truly cares about their customers and the quality of work they deliver. Truly a 5 star experience!

Stacey, Sean, Loui, & Martin are great! We had several companies give us quotes for a new AC system and State 48 Home Services were the best! They were honest, friendly, and respectful! They are very thorough and the communication was great! Stacey organized everything for us. Sean was very helpful giving us options to choose and suggestions to maximize our system and dollars. State Forty-Eight did a great job installing a new Bosch unit and running new ductwork on my house. They completed the project in two days and were very efficient. Sean did a great job managing the project and the crews to complete the project very timely. The team was very easy to work with and professional. Highly recommend!

Loved how professional and courteous they were throughout the entire installation of the new A/C unit. Speaking with Stacey over the phone to set the appointment. She is amazing super friendly and super kind. Very happy they were flexible with a time frame that best fit my needs. Martin and Louis where the guys who installed the A/C unit and they were very thorough, even though I had already sort of cleared off a bit of the area where clothes was where they would go into the attic for the crawlspace. He was amazing. He put plastic wrap around the rest of my clothing and belongings in my walk around the closet, and make sure it taped up so that way nothing would fall onto my clothes or things even after they were done they vacuumed whatever was on the floor and left it nice and clean like if they were never there. Thank you for such a first great experience!!!

Stacy and Sean were both awesome. From Stacy setting up my appointment and talking through the maintenance plans to Sean coming out and performing my maintenance on my unit. Sean was also one of the installers when I bought my unit several years ago. He is very knowledgeable!!

Sean Meier came today to do our once a year preventative maintenance. He’s an outstanding technician. Explained everything he did this morning. Answered all of questions, and made us feel so glad we made the decision to use State 48 Home Services a year ago. We would absolutely recommend anyone to use your company for there heating and a/c needs.

There is nothing fun or exciting about having all of your HVAC ductwork in a 1950's house replaced but, if ya gotta do it, have THESE FOLKS do it! Martin & Isidro were so nice and professional over the two days of work! It's a pretty messy job with all the new vents being cut into the ceiling and they were so good about covering everything and cleaning up! Thank you to Sean for patiently and thoroughly answering my many questions and thank you Stacy for your consistent communication and follow-up. This company is what you WISH ALL contractors were like!

From start t finish to follow up (quality check) State 48 has been outstanding! Our first experience was with Sean who was our sales person. He was knowledgeable and very personable. He spent time assessing what we needed and presenting different options. Something he did well and way better than other quotes was he focused on his company and how they could make our home comfortable. He didn’t slander or talk down about other companies which impressed us. After discussing what we wanted, I cancelled the other companies we were scheduled to get quotes with and signed with State 48. Sean and State 48 had been my third quote and at the time I had 3 other quotes scheduled. I wasn’t looking for lowest price I was looking for customer focus and total value. Sean and State 48 checked all boxes for us. Then came installation scheduling. We knew we needed two weeks before we would be ready and Stacy worked perfectly with me to fit our timing. So far both Sean and Stacy were making our decision that much better. Installation was going to take two days. On installation day Martin and his crew were on time, communicated what they were going to do for the two days, they were neat and protected our walls and carpet. They installed the upstairs unit and had it working day one. Day two on time again and redid all the protection of the house. They had the second unit done and cleaned up by the end of the day as promised. They were clean inside and outside the house. The old units were picked up each day. It was great to see that kind of pride, cleanliness and work ethic. We also had insulation installed in the attic to help with the heating and cooling. This was done a week later. Once again Stacy was fantastic working with me in getting this scheduled. Trask and his partner showed up on time and once again protected the inside of the house. He was in the attic about half the day and did a great job! They cleaned up and just like with the install inside the house you couldn’t tell they had been there.
They also scheduled a quality check follow up a couple weeks later and Sean came back and ran through the whole system to ensure installation was correct, everything was working properly and spent time reviewing the system with me.

I started my experience with State 48 with my initial phone call and spoke with Stacy the office manager. She was friendly, professional and answered everyone of my questions concerning the problem I was having with my A/C unit. She is extremely excellent at her job. She set up an appointment with Sean, who came out on time and called me when he was 20 minutes away for my appointment. He was personable and knowledgeable and had my unit up and running efficiently. Peter, owner at State 48 Home Services, rescued me in June, 2021 when my rental home needed a new A/C unit. So this year, knowing that my home unit was going to die soon, I called Peter for the lowdown on prices and availability. Bottom line... I ended up with a great Bosch 19 Seer unit at a price I couldn't refuse. Oscar and Rodolfo did the install. They should be commended for their professional and orderly work. They even reworked the ducting to let the new system run at peak efficiency. Also, kudos to Sean who came over later for a post install inspection. A team win!

After speaking to Stacy On Wednesday, 5/12/2025, Sean came to my home in Surprise to do my HVAC service and an insulation check. Sean assured me the insulation was adequate. He also showed me the photos of my attic which was reassuring. I have lived since 2020 and State 48 Home Services is the first company that I would HIGHLY RECOMMEND for HVAC, Water Heater and plumbing new systems and maintenance. WOW! I spoke to Stacy in the office and couldn’t have been more impressed. I will be needing to replace water heater within a couple of years so I will be looking at the maintenance plans for the discount when time comes.

From there; State 48 Home Services dispatched a technician named Tony to service my four air conditioning units, and the experience was outstanding. Tony was extremely knowledgeable, professional, and courteous throughout the visit. He not only completed the necessary work efficiently, but also took the time to clearly explain what he was doing and why, answering every question I had in a way that was easy to understand.

He consistently went above and beyond the scope of his duties—most notably by cleaning multiple ceiling areas and air-conditioning vent covers that had been left dirty by previous technicians. His attention to detail and pride in his work did not go unnoticed and were greatly appreciated.
