When I made the appointment with Sears, I was told $129 diagnostic fee & it would be waived if I have the repair done. It also says that on the website. When the service technician was done he said $129 plus the labor charge to reattach a hose. It cost $299 total. It was late Friday afternoon & I didn’t want to argue with the technician, so I paid him.
Service was fine!! But shady tactics

Professional appearance, friendly, explained what needed to be done and completed the repair.

On time, professional, and did the work fast and correctly. Communicated everything he was doing and completed.

He fixed my dryer, that was what I needed. Wasn't here long, didn't make a mess, was nice to my dog, very personable.

I requested the dryer vent be removed and vacuumed as he has a shop vac, he refused.
He did run the wash machine but left door closed, so it smelled bad 2 days later. Should it not be cleaner?

Terrible. Called the day of the service to tell me there was am error in my request and I would need to have it resolved before they come out. Why didnt he tell me days ahead? Took off of work for nothing.

When your dryer makes a high pitched screaming sound, you want to know what the problem is and have it fixed yesterday. Our Sears Appliance Repair tech diagnosed the problem, showed us the parts needed and prices to order, ordered parts were shipped directly to us and awaited same repair tech who installed in about an hours time. The tech was knowledgeable, worked quickly, was friendly and answered all questions asked. 5 star experience.

My repair technician was extremely capable, knowledgeable, and professional. We received a premier experience—representing the best of the Sears Home Services brand.
However, the estimated repair costs has forced my wife and I into deciding purchasing a new washer instead.

Jose was my Tech. He was SUPER professional. Great communication skills, polite and honest.
Will use them again!!!

Jose came out sooner than the appointment time diagnosed the problem with my washing machine and fix it at a surprisingly reasonable rate. Thumbs up

Jose, was great. They came quickly figured out my issue with my dishwasher and explained exactly what was going on. I would use them again if needed.

Called them, we scheduled for between 3 and 3:15pm. He was ringing my door bell at 3;10pm
He did the work correctly and professionally.
Even greased my other door which he wasn't there for i paid and he left. Great work!!!! Thank you!!!

Service was excellent! My dryer was fixed same day and at a reasonable price. I recommend this company and will use them again when I need repairs on my appliances.
