This company was supposed to send men out Thursday. No one showed up. Then they said Friday and Saturday. Guess what?! No one showed up!! Then I get a call that “the team was delayed, but we will come put a tarp today in case of the rain tomorrow so there is no further damage to your home”. NO ONE SHOWED UP. This company is a complete joke. Never ever use them for your house repairs!

Pat & crew have always done quality work for me & my companies. Always a fair price and follows up on their work. Very blessed to have met Pat years ago.

A remodel is a very exciting time in a homeowner’s life, new space, new rooms, etc., but for a very busy young family of five it can be a burden that no one wants to carry. My wife and I were very hesitant of contractors, because we had been scammed before on a previous job. Knipp Contracting and Jeff Cross relieved our stress and hesitation that comes with a remodel. The process started in August of 2020, Jeff walked us through every single step (there are many). He explained each detail when it came to the contracts, the plans, permits, etc. The process was a bit longer to break ground, due to COVID limitations, but it finally happened in February of 2021. After breaking ground, Jason Smith, project manager, came on board and continued the constant communication between Knipp’s crew and my wife and me. There was never a time that I did not know the schedule for workers to be on property. When workers were on property, so was Jason! Jason went above and beyond as project manager by the end he knew the name of all of my children and had many conversations with them. Final walk through was in June of 2021. Jason Smith, Jeff Cross and Knipp Contracting, treated my family like family. Now we have additional space in our home that our busy young family can enjoy for years to come. Had worked with six or eight construction companies throughout my 25 years in Las Vegas and Knipp contracting is head and shoulders above all of the rest not only are these guys fair , well priced and professional , but they also show up on time and clean up completely after their work is done .

We had a house fire in June 2019. We had a very difficult time dealing with the original general contractor in getting anything done so we let them go. We found Knipp through a friend. Once we obtained a building permit, Knipp began construction immediately. They were in constant contact with us throughout the whole process. Our insurance adjuster was shocked with how quickly our house was built. Knipp had subcontractors at the house every day in the proper sequence. Everyone we came in contact with was professional and did an excellent job. The claims adjuster came by after the house was rebuilt and remarked how good the house looked. From start to finish of construction, Knipp took only 12 weeks for a complete house rebuild. We are very happy with the final product.

As a trade partner of Knipp we have found them to be extremely professional. We have completed many projects together and I have also used them at my home to paint my home inside and out. Very fair pricing and was on time. Knipp Contracting has integrity, expertise and the personal connection that any customer or trade partner would or could ask for. Dale and his crew were professional and courteous removing and demolishing old walls, installing new electrical and drywall to our old, outdated property. We would highly recommend!

DRC State of the Art built a little addition for me last year that included a bathroom. I’ll keep this short and to the point: my family and I have done a lot of work with contractors in our day and working with Dale Cox is by far the worst experience I have ever had. Point blank.

I want to highly recommend DRC and it’s owner Dale Cox. My wife and I hired DRC to help us with whole home audio and video. We were lucky to find him. He was very reliable and he was very committed to delivering high quality work. He is also very pleasant to work with.

We initially hired DRC to complete some plans for an extensive renovation to our Scottsdale home. Dale made representations about their ability to do architectural plans, engineering calculations and also complete the construction. We should have read the signs early, he was an hour late to the initial meeting and then, during the next 9 months it took to get the plans finished, there were lots of mistakes and omissions. It felt like I was marking homework from a pre-schooler. Every time the next set of plans were provided there were omissions, mistakes and forgotten items we had spoken about at previous meetings where I had kept notes.
Dale never turned up with any notes, never took any notes and rarely remembered anything we spoke about. His attention to detail is lacking and his pricing is ridiculous. He wanted $27k for a portable potty rental and $8k for a new hot water heater!
The initial budget was $650k and this was confirmed to be still on track at a meeting in May (8 months in) where we requested an update as to when the plans would be finished and when we could get a bid. We finally got a partial bid in August after putting pressure on him, the bid came back at just under $1.3M (admittedly there were some optional additions included that would have reduced the price by circa $150k if removed) however the bid was still $500k over all of his estimates. We now have a set of plans that we paid $12.5k for that are useless as most of the items we designed were based on the pricing advice of Dale coming in at circa $650k. They will have to be re-done by a real builder. DRC pretends to be a one-stop-shop with all trades on staff, however, they work out of their house and rely upon outside trades to do all the work.

It seems like DRC are a “mom and pop” outfit that are playing outside their lane. They need to keep putting up garden sheds and leave the real building to professionals. Do yourself a favour, KEEP LOOKING!

Dale, Terone, and his team were great to work with. I did a full kitchen remodel, removed structural beams, new HVAC, cabinets, appliances, flooring, etc, and very pleased with how it turned out! Dale was very patient with some of the delays that were not his fault, and never grew frustrated with the process or some of the issues we ran into during the remodel process. He’s honest, fair, and can handle any of your remodel needs! Highly recommend and can get the job done!

Dale and his crew did an amazing job with our project which included building out our fireplace and creating our wine closet. We will be using this team for our future projects.

DRC construction has been phenomenal. All of the workers have been professional, kind, and taken the extra steps in ensuring that our home was not too chaotic. Such gestures as sweeping the construction site and having a manager overseeing projects on a daily basis. At times we faced some weather issues that caused delays, but the team was always ready to keep working and they found strategic ways to get passed the issues that arose as is common when renovating a home. Dale has been thorough, direct, honest, professional, kind, and just went above and beyond. Everyone including his assistant Wayne are amazing to work with and really put us at ease. Dale has definitely reflected a culture of integrity in his company. As for the final project, we are in love. It is exactly what we wanted and more. We couldn't have asked for a better company to work with on this project. Our family would recommend him and his company to anyone and we look forward to working with again on other projects.

We completed a total demo and renovation of our master bathroom. Dale and his team were professional, responsive, and always bringing us ideas and solutions to enhance our goals for the dream bathroom. While all project have some glitches, Dale was able to do a great job in making sure he got things right and never cut corners. Thanks Dale!

We hired DRC to build a small addition, which included a full bathroom, office and mudroom. Dale was reasonable and flexible from the start, working from an existing set of plans that we had and adjusting standard job contract details to our liking. Dale was able to work with us on the price and we came to terms after some friendly negotiation. When we kicked off the project, some complications arose with the Water Dept to make a new sewer connection - Dale was able to get everyone on the same page and was very fair/transparent with some changes to the contract (which we knew were a possibility on this item). Despite some unavoidable delays with the sewer, Dale got the project back on track. His team was always available to answer questions and ask for our opinion. Dale allowed some minor changes to the plans throughout the process as he said would be possible. His team was receptive to being called out on a few issues that popped up (as to be expected) and addressed those hiccups without aggravation. Communication was great at each step of the way and I never felt out of the loop or uninvolved. His team also worked well with the building dept, and the permitting and inspection process went seamlessly. DRC finished the job within the timeframe and level of quality expected. And when we had a manufacturer issue with the mini-split air conditioner that was installed, Dale graciously reinstalled the new unit that the was given to us under the product warranty. I would definitely do business with DRC again.
