We have purchased 4 mini splits from this company for our residential home. My husband purchased one mini split for his business from this company. Originally we worked with Edward, who was great to work with. Brad, the owner is a different story. Getting Brad to do anything other than sell you something is extremely difficult. We’ve had several units fail. The interior unit/head needed replaced on one of the units and the other one needed to be replaced completely. We have a unit in our home that is currently not functioning properly and I can’t even get a simple service appointment as Brad always seems to be having a health problem or is on vacation.
We’re at a point where we are probably going to buy a new mini split from another company simply so we no longer have to deal with Brad, the owner.. I do not recommend this company.
UPDATE :The owner’s response to this review was to threaten me, and then refuse to service the unit even though a significant part of it had been replaced within the year. He also said he does not have a customer named Mustacchio …. And he even misspelled that… as a response to my review.. I have a hyphenated legal last name, so apparently he is not aware of my full name. This is a legitimate review of a shockingly horrible experience with Brad, the owner of the Mini Split Guys.

I NOTICED THE OWNER'S 2ND RESPONSE TO MY REVIEW OF HIS BUSINESS AFTER FIRST STATING THAT I WAS NOT HIS CUSTOMER. The majority of his reply is complete manipulation of the actual facts. Brad did replace the defective mini split in the master with a more expensive unit and charged us more. He also did what he always does and tried to bump us on the price after install. I honestly, cannot believe Brad is still posting about this almost a year later. Both my husband and I had to BLOCK BRAD ON OUR CELL PHONES BECAUSE HE WAS HARASSING US BOTH VIA TEXTING. BEWARE OF THIS GUY.

Installation went as planned, Installed in garage and maintain temperature very efficiently. Cost of operation was very reasonable

The Mini-Split Guys installed 2 units for us, 1 in the kitchen and 1 in the garage. They did excellent work and were very respectful of the property while working. Both units are working as promised and we are quite pleased.

This was an amazing experience. I have never worked with a company where they actually show up on time and do exactly what they say they’re going to do. They were professional and did a beautiful installation. Very clean everything was perfect.

I had two Mini Splits installed. Brad and his team do excellent work and will highly recommend them to anyone who needs any HVAC work done.

I guess these guys don’t like new business. Got the run around for 4 days and never got an appointment setup, awful customer experience.

My experience in a nutshell:
- Tues: Called around 3pm, got Shawn, seemed nice and to know what our mini splits problem was, said he was not in the office at the moment but if I could go on their website and submit a request he’d call me back in the morning to setup a time for them to come out. Ok fare enough, submitted the request right after we talked.
- Wed: no response back
- Thur: I call them back in the afternoon but get “All our lines are busy please leave a message and we’ll get back to you” ok, left a detailed voice mail. Didn’t hear back the rest of the day.
- Fri: Got a call and voice mail from Brad about setting up an appointment, ok great. Called him back once I saw the voicemail, spoke to him for about 30 secs as he said “Oh I’m kind of in the middle of something can I call you back in a few?” “Sure” I say, and him nor anyone from the company called me back Friday nor all weekend!

So here it is Tuesday afternoon (a week later!) as I write this and no one has still bothered to call back to setup an appointment! But I’m over it, called someone else YESTERDAY and they will be out TODAY (the NEXT DAY) to help me with my problem.

Great experience with Mini Split Guys. The service was top notch. Fast quote, easy to work with, and professional installation. Will recommend and use again.

I have a mini split that ruined a laptop when it started leaking water in my home office last summer - I had no clue what to do and I just figured I was going to have to get a whole new unit. I found Mini Split Guys after a quick Google search, submitted a request, and Rudy and another person from their team came out the same day to check it out. Not only did they fix the problem but they were kind enough to show me how to clean it and best practices on how to run it. They were awesome and made me feel so comfortable and educated, our mini split came with the house we purchased and I didn’t even know there was anything I had to do to maintain it on my own. They were super transparent that what they did might not be a permanent fix and to call them if I ever had issues - I was expecting to have the same issue much sooner but had no issues for a full year, great. Flash forward to a few days ago when I was having the same issue and submitted a service request on their website over the weekend, Cory texted me on a Sunday and said he could come and check it out the next day. He fixed the issue and also very honest and told me that it looked like a few knobs were left loose the last time, something he totally could have just chosen not to tell me. No fault on anyone in my book, things can slip especially when you’re going above and beyond and set expectations up front! When I asked about payment he told me not to worry about it, after I asked multiple times if he was sure I finally gave in. Since he wouldn’t accept payment and I heavily respect good business practice, I figured the absolute least I could do was leave a nice long review for others to see how great these guys are. Loved both experiences with Rudy, Cory, and the team - Thank you, you will be my Mini Split Guys for life!

The experience was excellent throughout. They helped us determine exactly what we needed and did not try to up-sell us. They were flexible on installation date and the installation and cleanup were both very professional.

I’ve had a few mini split units installed by the Mini Split Guys and I absolutely love the work they did. My house is so much cooler in the summer and so cozy in the winter. I have and would suggest them for all my energy needs.

After researching mini splits, we went with the Mini Split Guys. We had 2 units installed in the main bedroom & casita. Brad was super informative & efficient. The units work great & are super quiet at night. I highly recommend the Mini Split Guys!

Edward was my contact. Edward and his assistant completed the work as described within 5 hours. They Installed a mini split in my garage on 8.17.21, there were no issues with the installation. They ran a dedicated power line from the electric box so it could have its own breaker. The quote was in line with competitors. Overall very satisfied.

I had Brad and Sean install a mini split in my garage and I love it so much. The garage is now the most comfortable room in our house. Definitely want more mini splits eventually. Great experience with Mini Split Guys. I was getting conflicting information from two other AC companies - I called up Mini Split Guys and they showed up the same day to give me all the information I needed and provided a quote. Install was quick and efficient. Highly recommend!

The Mini Split Guys really helped us out when we couldn't find a good option to keep our south and west facing garages cool. Our prior system had died a slow death and was not possible to repair. Our large HVAC service provider wasn't able (or interested) to provide us with an appropriate system for that space.

The Mini Split Guys somehow managed to get our old system temporarily working one more time while we planned a more sustainable solution. Finally the Mini Split Guys proposed a brilliant solution to our problem that no one else had thought of. A week later it was up and running, and we have been very satisfied with it in the months since then.

I originally left a review simply stating that I had a hard time getting a follow-up on a quote. However, the business owner’s reaction to that feedback is the real reason you should look elsewhere.
​Instead of addressing my concerns professionally, the owner publicly replied to my review by posting my full name and private home address for everyone to see.
Using a customer's private data to intimidate them in response to negative feedback is completely unacceptable and unsafe.
I have reported this privacy violation to the proper authorities. Be very careful with what personal information you share with this company
