SG Mechanical has been exceptional! I have them come every 6 months for maintenance, and they are so thorough! Matt always answers all my questions and is very patient and knowledgeable. Andy helped me years ago with installing an ERV. He took numerous phone calls with me making sure I understood everything that was being done. My favorite HVAC company!

Technician Matt was on time and checked everything out top to bottom. He was here a little over an hour and I felt he did a thorough job. He even changed out both A/C filters for me. Booking the appointment was easy-peasy. We have an annual contract for 2 visits per year.

My a/c was missed diagnosed twice by 2 different technicians until the owner Andy had to come and assess the situation . The owner determined it was the condensing fan motor was bad. I am not happy. I would “NOT “ recommend them .

My service with Matt was excellent, he explained the steps before he started. He listened to my problem, took it all under advisement and then set to work. Testing my unit indicated a capacitor was out of Specs. He corrected it and said capacitors usually fail in summer, shutting off the system until it can be repaired. I was thankful he found it now and instead of in the midst of hot summer before Matt left He explained again what he did and if there was any questions I could call and he was done. Great job thank you very professional.

Andy was great to work with. I needed two HVAC units replaced in a short time frame. I requested quotes from 3 different companies. Andy listened carefully to what I wanted and he quickly turned around an all in price without the typical sales pitch. He thoroughly explained the equipment, the warrantees and what he and his team would do when they arrived for and during installation. Installation went smoothly and the equipment works perfectly without any hassle or delays. After the job was complete he handled all of the manufacturer’s warrantee paperwork and provided me with documentation for the applicable tax credits. He was both the best price for my needs and the quickest for quote and installation. All around great experience with Andy and the SG Mechanical staff. I definitely recommend giving SG a call for A/C and heating needs. 5/5 rating.

On short notice, they showed up to fix my Uncle's cooler that had been out for weeks, my Uncle was hospitalized and they showed up that day and fixed it right away.
Matt N explained everything to me before he started and then once he diagnosed the issues, he explained it all to me in detail what was needed, costs etc. He explained how he could do "this" to get it going or he do "that" for a much better, longer lasting outcome and I went with "that" for my elderly Uncle. He was there for 4 hours and just as nice as could be the entire time. He even offered me a bottle of cold water in the end as I was in the heat for 4+ hours too.

Andy is a real pleasure to work with, extremely knowledgeable and goes out of his way to explain things, test things, and provides outstanding attention to detail. I sleep better knowing that Andy is on top of our hvac needs and services. Highly recommend!
