Scott Acy of A Better Place, LLC is the person to call for help around the house. He does a great job and he's a nice guy. I needed a small plumbing repair and he fixed it correctly and quickly. He has a wealth of knowledge and he is very well-mannered. He arrived on time and looking presentable plus he did not leave a mess. I will definitely use him again.

Scott was great. I attempted to wire a smart thermostat myself and blew my units transformer in the process. He was able to get out the same day I called and replace the transformer. He also recommended that I replace some old wiring connecting the unit to the thermostat because I was experiencing power lose at the thermostat. I did just that and BOOM, everything powered up as it should. Great experience, thank you Scott!

Scott has been great to work with and has solved many issues at my home. He was able to fix a years-long AC problem and also installed a new water heater quickly when my old one died. He's professional, responsive and knowledgeable.

My wife and I have been using Scott for over 4 years, since we moved back to Ahwatukee. We had two old AC units that we needed to have serviced. I was really impressed with Scott's approach. He checked each unit and gave us several options. He explained how he could cheaply repair them to keep them working, or he could replace one or both units. Every time we call Scott for work, he tried to help us understand the issue, and he always tells us how he can do the job in the most cost effective way. I have never felt like he has tried to pressure us into expensive, unnecessary work. This year we finally had Scott replace both units. In the process he found work that was done incorrectly by the builders. He came back multiple times to make sure his work was completed to 100%, and to fix the problems caused by others. There is no one else we would trust to do our Plumbing or AC work.

Scott was extremely helpful & knowledgeable, as this was my first water heater purchase on my own. He went the extra mile to ensure the job was done correctly & on time. Scott & his side kick Austin did a fabulous job of cleaning up after themselves. Though, professional, educated me as they went about their repairs. Communicated with me on what needed to be done, and ran to store for needed parts as they came into unknown issues. Very pleased with this company.

When I called Scott's for a last minute request they were very helpful and professional, however for my last min request they were not available on that day (understandably though - everyone is super busy!). Thankfully they connected me with another drain professional who immediately called and was able to go to my house and assess the situation for me. I'm just so thankful for a business who is willing to look beyond their own business or financial gain and really just care about the client being taken care of, even if it wasn't them who would get the business. Scott and his team are a respectful and professional asset to our community and provide superior customer service. We returned after a few days away and learned of several storms that passed through our area, some, we’re told were violent. We had a tremendous power surge that overrode the surge protector that Scott installed on our AC unit and damaged the computer board, among other utilities in our home. Scott talked me through some late evening remedies which partially fixed the AC. Shortly thereafter, Scott was at our home and confirmed the damage. Repairs were promptly made and sound advice on preventing a future occurrence with the installation of a surge protector on our electrical panel. Those residing in the Arizona Valley can appreciate having a dedicated AC team at their fingertips, particularly during our brutal summers. Thank you, again, to Scott and his team. We reached out to these guys a few years ago for a small electrical issue and I was so amazed with Scott’s honesty and that he did not take advantage of us because we just didn’t know about light switches. So I was very happy when I found the Co again for an AC/Heating issues and again as per their normal way complete honesty and great with the explanation of the problem. They are also going above and Bryon checking on possible manufacture warranty. My husband and I are so happy we can feel good giving our business to a local family owned and operated business

We called Scott's because our daughter's bathtub faucet broke. I tried to fix it myself (which I have done in the past in other bathrooms) but there was a problem with how the builder installed the piece and it was too difficult for me to remove. I called out Scott's, who responded very quickly. A special tool was needed which he did not have, so he ordered the tool and came back over a couple days later for a fast, professional install and fix. Thank you so much for being so quick and courteous. Will use again when necessary. Would recommend.

Turns out we did use them again when our water heater broke and started leaking. Scott's was prompt and friendly. A new water heater was ordered and promptly installed, and for SEVERAL HUNDRED dollars less than a couple of the "big" guys quoted us a few months earlier when we were looking for a preemptive replacement. Scott's even included some parts that the other guys wanted to charge a la carte for. Thank you Scott's for being reliable, friendly, and affordable.
