We were assigned Maximum Comfort Specialists by our home warranty company. They came out to replace a part but said they had the wrong part so needed to reschedule. When they came back they said they made a mistake and had the right part the first time. Not a huge deal because our AC was working at this point. The biggest issue is, when they replaced the part they damaged the scuttle hole to our attic - tore the frame off and made a huge mess - and said they would send someone back to repair it. It's been over a month now and they have yet to repair it. I've called at least five times to ask when they're sending someone and they either don't answer their phone or they tell me they will schedule it and call me to let me know when. At this point I know they are blowing me off and assume it's because its warranty work so they aren't able to charge us for anything extra unless we agree to it. Giving them 2 stars instead of 1 because they did fix our AC but the way they damaged a part of our home and are now ignoring us is completely unacceptable.

I needed a new air conditioning unit. I had a couple different companies come out to give me a quote. Maximum Comfort Specialist provided me with a detailed description of exactly what I needed at a fair price. Once I decided to go with them I called and had a brand new unit installed the next day. Aubrey and Douglas completed the installation. They were incredibly kind, professional, and knowledgeable. They answered all my silly/uneducated questions and completed the job in a timely manner even cleaning up after themselves. I would highly recommend Maximum Comfort Specialists.

We notified Fidelity that our A/C had been leaking into the ceiling above the kitchen and needed immediate attention. Maximum Comfort Specialists contacted us shortly thereafter to schedule an appointment. Melissa was awesome! She was so kind and helpful and told me she would try to get us scheduled asap understanding the urgency of our situation. She went way above and beyond to work us in and scheduled Ryan to come out today. Ryan to the rescue! He did an outstanding job as well! He quickly assessed the problem and proceeded to promptly fix it. Kudos to Melissa and Ryan for the excellent service!

Super grateful for Maximum Comfort Specialists for coming out and fixing our AC today. We had to live without it over the weeekend but Doug showed up on time, was really professional, didn't make me feel like a stupid girl, and helped me understand what went wrong and how it was not our fault. Bonus is that it was all covered under our One Guard Home Warranty so nothing out of pocket for us but the service fee. EXCELLENT customer service with these guys!!

My AC went out in July of 2022. And needed a new unit. I had several quotes and decided to go with Maximum Comfort Specialists LLC because they had one of the lower prices. They were great getting it installed however generally your utilities drop at least a little with a new unit neither have happened but possibly because weather conditions being a little more extreme this last year. My hope anyway!
All new units come with free service for the first year or two, but after sending two emails and leaving messages on phone recording I have heard nothing from them. This is now March of 2024 and no response! When my other AC was installed I didn't even have to call, they contacted me and came out for the service! I was giving them the benefit of the doubt as 2023 was a very hot summer so figured they were busy! Now I'm realizing I should have stuck with my original company because at least they answered their phone /email but this place apparently doesn't care about service! No response at all, ridiculous! -
This company scheduled a call promptly. The technician, Scott D., arrived early in the window during which they said he would and also texted before arriving. The dispatch office (Ramona) was friendly and customer-centric. When Scott arrived, he fixed our air conditioner quickly and thoroughly. He was also clearly knowledgeable about the technical aspects, so we felt confident in his recommendations. Super experience.

My home warranty paired me with this AC repair company, and that's always hit or miss with quality of service. I was pleasantly surprised this time as Melissa in their office was very communicative and helpful setting up my appointment, and rescheduling when the first tech didn't have a tall enough ladder to reach my second story roof. They had another tech out within the hour though, and Mario was incredibly professional and knowledgeable and diagnosed my issue quickly and painlessly and even took time to explain the issue and educate me on my AC system a bit. Could not be happier with the service I received and will use them again.

These guys were great to work with! They sent someone out quickly. Douglas H diagnosed the problem almost immediately. He had us up and running again in very little time. Super friendly. Answered all our questions. We would definitely use their services again!

After going through a different company first, we were sent to Maximum Comfort Specialists. Doug was our technician and he was prompt, thorough, and overall extremely kind and helpful with understanding that we had a leak. He was able to fix everything and get our AC up and running within 25 minutes. Excellent service, and so grateful! Thank you Doug!

Our our home warranty company sent this company to our home even though we asked for Sun State who is fantastic. After coming out the tech from Maximum Comfort LLC determined we need a new compressor. They returned a few days later and installed the compressor and left. 5 hours later we turned the unit off because it never shut off automatically. Because the tech said this was unrelated to their work we were billed our fee by our warranty company. After just a few days the AC quite blowing cold air. Again it was reported they had nothing to do with the 1st to repairs so we paid our $85 fee AGAIN. Now we are waiting parts of some kind to arrive. I called Sun State and asked if their tech Robby could come out and check the unit. Robby arrived yesterday May 23rd and checked everything. He confirmed the parts we are waiting on are needed. Because Robby and Sun State are TRUE professionals, when Robby left our AC had been running properly without replacing the parts we are waiting on.
Who knows when Maximum Comfort will be back since they have not advised of any proposed return date.

Our air conditioning had been out for almost three weeks. After a technician came out from another company and couldn’t resolve the issue, our home warranty company escalated the call. This time Doug from maximum comfort specialists showed up. Doug was on time, friendly and knowledgeable. Doug found a blocked pipe in the attic. It was replaced within 40 minutes and he was gone. Super thankful to have my air working again. Appreciate the knowledge and care. Will definitely recommend this company to our clients and friends.

Our AC went out when the temp outside was 116 . This company picked up our work order and scheduled us quickly. Akeil came out and was not only kind and considerate but also completed the repair quickly. We are so thankful to have air again and appreciate the skill and kindness of Akeil.

Aubrey, AC technician, with Maximum Comfort Specialist did an exceptional job. We had multiple air conditioner units all out at the same time. He did a great job diagnosing the problem, and kept things going while we waited for parts to be ordered and delivered. He did great job installing the parts as well. His dedication and professionalism is refreshing and very much appreciated. Melissa, the office manager was exceptionally helpful. She did a great job in working with me and my home warrantee company, making sure everything was in order for the multiple jobs to be done correctly. She worked very hard to get me the help we needed during this very hot summer. There are number of other maximum comfort specialists employees we interacted with. We appreciate their help as well.

I had the pleasure of having Maximum Comfort sent out by our home warranty to address an issue with our AC unit. From the moment I called, the experience was exceptional. The office staff, particularly Ramona who answered the phone most of the time, was incredibly helpful and professional.
Aubrey, the technician who came out to inspect our unit last Thursday was extremely thorough and explained everything in detail. The follow-up and follow-through from the team were unmatched. Melissa, their manager, is also wonderful and ensured everything was handled smoothly.
Another heating and cooling company was sent out by the home warranty back in December and they came out a total of 6x and we kept having issues. Aubrey for Maximum came and fixed it the first time. I am glad they are the company my home warranty uses now.
I highly recommend Maximum Comfort for their outstanding service and dedication to their customers. -
Chas Roberts paid me two visits. One to tell me AC compressor out. Second visit....to provide list of options for replacement. 8-11,000$.
Maxium Comfort linked to my home warranty visited same day. Reported back to me within 30 min showing me this. Fixed for 60$!....
Hummmmm....Ill let you come to your own conclusions. Important now to ALWAYS GET 2ND AND EVEN 3RD OPINION.
PS....I did send pics to Chas Roberts sales rep after incident. Just some story telling. The thing that disturbed me was that no one from leadership team at Chas Roberts ever called me back/ followed up. This could have been a great learning experience for all. Perhaps a simple oversight by CR tech who is still learning.
Maximum Comfort is trustworthy and obviously are skilled at what they do. I will replace my AC units when time comes. -
DO NOT USE!! Someone came out via home warranty and told me they put in new fuses and that the old ones were bad. They purposely put old fuses in and stretched the fuse box so they would pop out to get more money (new company showed me exactly what they did). I wouldn't recommend these people to anyone, they don't even have a website!! Keep in mind, this is a family
Owned company and I wish I could have had a better experience but they don't care about anything but collecting. Attached is a photo of the "new fuses" that caused my AC to stop working one hour after they left and I called and texted and they didn't respond until days later due to the weekend. Note: compressor did go out shortly after and chose a cash out option then use these guys. -
DO NOT USE THESE PEOPLE!!! Our home warranty company sent them to our house. It is July and 110*+. They claim to have same day service.🤣🤣🤣 They came on the 3rd, did nothing but clean up a bit and said they would be back on Monday with the necessary part. Monday (the 7th) turned into Wednesday the 9th. Guy came on the 9th, he was friendly enough, although a little talkative. He should have been concentrating on his work. After a couple hours he smiled and said that you are all good to go! Then he said he would go outside to the a/c unit and double check the valves and everything to make sure it was good. We set our thermostat to 74. 2 hours after he left our house, the temperature was climbing up. It was 80 when we finally decided we needed to go to a hotel. They claim same day service, but don’t have any kind of after hours emergency service or anything Don’t even do emergency services on weekends. We are 2 senior citizens who both have health issues. I work from home and had to take days off because it was unbearable. Our warranty company called another provider, and he was at our house within two hours. When he looked at the unit, the first thing he saw was a leaking valve and we had NO FREON. This was pretty upsetting, considering that the last guy from this company claims he double checked the valves to make sure it was good. Did he purposely do something to it so that they could make another service call and bill my warranty company again? Looking at some of the past reviews, I believe it’s possible. I have advised our warranty company to never send them to our house again. After we were given another technician, they even called the warranty company and told them that they had a service appointment scheduled with us for Monday again, causing our second technician to be canceled. Which only delayed our repairs another day. I’m happy to say that our new contractor,
DB Air, was able to complete the repair and we were back in our house on Saturday!
AGAIN, I IMPLORE YOU, DO NOT TO USE THIS COMPANY!!!
You may regret it! -
Amazing company! The office team was quick to make an appointment with me after I submitted a claim through my home warranty (old republic). Aubrey, the AC tech, was professional, kind and thorough. He explained everything in detail and did the necessary repairs as well quickly. We chatted about life and future tune ups as well. He explained the best options for me as I’m considering a leak detection and repair and I will likely pursue this in the future outside of the warranty. Family owned, local and amazing service! Could not be happier.

Our home warranty called this team out and they were great to work with.. I had a good understanding that when you go through home warranty there is always going to be a delay, and that simply wasn't their fault. They did good work, got on the phone with Trane when needed, and got everything done they needed to.. I hope to not have to need them again, but if needed some work I would use them again.
Thanks guys -
Worst experience ever! They told the warranty company the part was still under warranty, which is wasn't. All because he didn't think the job paid enough, now we have to wait for the original company to fix it. Basically dumped the job on someone else. On top of that, they disabled my AC units and didn't even come back to fix it!!!! Matt Pryer is totally dishonest, greedy, and not worth your precious time or money when you need help. I'll be calling our warranty company to take them off the vendor list.
Why did you tell the warranty company it was still under warranty when it clearly wasn't?? That created more work for us and was clearly dishonest. Another company will handle the claim but they are not able to come see us to diagnose until next week. You could have diagnosed it, ordered the part, and we would have this fixed in 3-5 days, instead your decision made things harder on our family.
They disabled the AC units as the plan was for someone else to come out and look at the 2nd unit which of course you did not do. My review of dishonesty and terrible service is 100% true, and not "nonsense". all this could have been avoided if you would have simply done your job and not pass it off to someone else. A compressor that has been working perfectly for 2 years and suddenly breaks is not the fault of the person who installed it. -
Our ac went out yesterday and our home warranty company gave us the round around. Accidentally cancelling our job and it had originally been assigned to maximum comfort. After assigning it to someone else who told us they couldn’t come for 5 more days, I called the warranty company back and asked for it to be switched back to maximum comfort. I then called Melissa at maximum comfort and told her what was going on, she had someone come the same day. This was after 2pm and she still made it happen on the Friday before a holiday weekend. Doug and his partner came, quickly diagnosed what was wrong and fixed it within a half hour. Very professional, communicated very well and very pleasant. Living in Arizona for 45 years, this has not been my first experience with an ac company but definitely has been my best. So thankful I switched the order back to them. Thank you!
