Landscaping reviews in Phoenix, Arizona

This place is so much more than a plant nursery. The humans here are so helpful, fascinating, and knowledgeable. The plant selection is pretty good, especially for the outdoor plants, vegetables, flowers, and vines.
Indoor plant selection is a little lacking, but still has enough variety for the average plant enthusiast. They also carry pots and planters, fertilizers and soils, and plenty of accessories and decorations.
I really enjoyed my time here. Picked up a calathea and a Mexican pot. I definitely plan on coming back. -
Best nursery in town. We've been going them for 40yrs. They always have appropriate plants, especially veggies, for the seasons. Their plasma are off high quality and have always produced.

Came here to check their indoor plants and left feeling sad. If you guys can host Christmas festivities and serve hot chocolate and kettle corn, then I’m sure somebody can take care of the parrots that are stressed and neglected in the greenhouse, alone, and with rotting food in the enclosure. The smell from the piles of droppings was pungent.
There is a review from three years ago stating this exact issue. The birds live 50-70 years, so tell me, would you subject a human being to these conditions? -
The best there is!! Very family friendly and community supportive. We have purchased our community garden plants and supplies for many years. Thank you Whitfil !!!

Great local nursery. Good selection of plants including things on the cheaper end if you want little succulents or other smaller plants. It’s cool for the kids to visit too, there are peacocks and parrots. Also nice options for yard decor.

Last year we purchased blackberry bushes and a lemon tree and a pomegranate bush, and a mandarin tree from the nursery. They were so helpful in making the choices. Today I met with them again for additional advice. They have been so helpful in guiding us to nurture these plants.

We love visiting this nursery to see all the unique plans they have. Well, they have a good selection of indoor plants, the big drop for this particular location is large landscaping plants. Staff are incredibly knowledgeable and help you to pick the right landscape plants for your Yard based on your watering system and particular lighting. They also sell handmade pottery and have a few friendly cats hanging around. It’s a fun place to visit on a weekend and pick up a few new plants.

This place is so special to me!! My family tradition for many, many years now has been to come to this location together and explore it all. Might even call it adventurous. We walk around until we find our perfect family tree, which we take back home and all of us decorate together. The atmosphere here is so great every season! They go all out with spreading lots of Holiday Cheer. Perfect place for perusing through a huge array of indoor and outdoor plants, it'll blow your mind!! You'll even get the chance to see the peacocks and lots of other exotic birds. The staff is so quick and friendly to help you out. Once you find what you want, they will even help load it into your vehicle. Most years they have fresh hot chocolate out for everyone to enjoy. However, covid made this year a little different without it.... but Whitfill was still a very accommodating and EXTRA CHEERFUL place for our family to carry on the annual tradition, while still maintaining safety for everyone! Thank you sincerely Whitfill Nursery

What a magical place this was! I am not lying when I say that I could get lost here for hours. They had great customer service and a great selection of everything from plants to supplies. The greenhouse was amazing and had tons of amazing plants, even some rare ones too! I highly recommend checking this place out if you love plants!!

An expansive nursery of tree, palm, citrus and shade trees to indoor and outndoor plants, succulents, seeds/seedling, planters and the likes..... it is so huge you could spend as much time and money there and not realize it with everything and everyone incredibly kind and helpful in finding what your looking for in your landscaping needs....

Yulia and Kim that we have worked with was awesome. Actually everybody that we always meet, and greet with their have been fabulous. We can’t wait to get the new shrubs and one tree that we ordered. It’s going to transform our yard.

We were looking for plants that could go in a fish tank. Although we did not find that, we found beautiful, healthy plants that were absolutely gorgeous. We walked into a room that looked like a rainforest and saw an employee that directed us to a few plants we hadn't considered. This plant could grow by the water, but not inside the tank. As she said, it liked to almost dry out between waterings... Aside from that we met the most beautiful cat that was so loving - my mother reached to pet it and it put it's paws on her shoulders and rubbed against her. SO SWEET! There were also 2 birds, a mostly blue macaw and one that was mostly red. Very pretty, but molting at the moment... so probably not as happy until that is over! LOL One of the employees fed one of them seeds while we watched, but I don't get as close to birds... the cat was lovely though. All the employees were very friendly and one offered to give my plant a drink before I took it home. The cost of the plants wasn't bad, it's like mom said, you pay for what you get. Sure, I could have gone to a box store and paid less, but Whitfills plants are so much healthier, and there is far more of a variety of plants than at a box store. They were busy even on a Friday afternoon, and they've been in the business forever. We've already planned to go back at Christmas - I'll be posting again then! Whitfield is one of those hidden gems you can't say enough good things about!

Great experience! We bought 15 ficus Natida, and the staff there was very knowledgeable and very helpful. They were also four times less expensive as other nurseries we contacted. Highly recommend!

Whitfill is hands down the best nursery ever. They have an incredible selection of both indoor and outdoor plants, and everything is always healthy and well cared for. The staff is super knowledgeable and genuinely helpful — they’re always happy to answer questions and give great advice. My plants from this nursery always do so much better than plants I’ve bought anywhere else. On top of that, the nursery is such a fun place to visit with peacocks, parrots, and even cats wandering around. My favorite is Ford.

Mike was vary helpful when I looking for trees for my backyard.

Helpful staff, Augustine in the garden department goes above and beyond to help the customer. She's personable and cheerful.

After waiting in line for the guy behind the counter while he handled a phone call...he hangs up and waits on the third person first..
One and two (me) look at each other and say "Really?"...
Took me less time to go across the street to AutoZone and buy a $300 battery than I was waiting for him to get off the phone...
Never understand that... -
Bought a Christmas tree tonight and Amanda helped us. She was SO sweet, had great recommendations to make and just truly went above and beyond.

Just called to find out if they sell white dirt and was put thru to the garden department. A lady named Katrina helped me. She was soooo friendly, helpful and professional. Give her a raise!

Jose in the garden department was super helpful. He helped me design a trampoline hook to secure during the monsoon season. As a whole, this Home Depot is clean and the workers are always willing to help me with any projects I have.

I love shopping for my remodel home at Home Depot, good prices , easy to find materials.
The only thing that is not perfect is that they do not have sometimes enough helpers around.
I have to wait and walk around to find sombody to show me hoe to find and select what I need.
The rest is a perfect place to shop for my garden and construction materials!
