We had Alexander's Plumbing replace a garbage disposal. A plumber arrived a few days after calling and before starting the work, I asked how much it would cost. He didn't know but could find out. After calling his office, he was waiting for a return call that never came so I told him to go ahead with the work. Upon completion, he pointed out that the existing RO system would no longer fit in the cabinet as he replaced the 1/2 HP disposal with a wider 3/4 HP unit. This turns out to be my problem as the work is done and he has to get going. He left after spending about an hour and I still did no know the cost and now had to cut into a side wall of the cabinet and located the RO tank into an open space outside of the cabinet. This took several hours and permanently created a hole in the side wall. My problem. Then the invoice came and it was for 525.00. I found this excessive as I could buy the same disposal at Home Depot for 142.00, meaning the plumber could buy it for less. This computes to a labor charge of around 400.00/hour. Wow! And I had to spend hours fixing the problem he created. I then called the Owner who finally agreed to drop the total to 500.00. Now the plumber was 375.00/hour - still outrageous in my estimation. On the plus side, both the plumber and owner were nice guys and the installation itself was fine.

Alexander's Plumbing is excellent. He got out to the property on time, was competitively priced and presented themselves in a professional manner. They completed the job as expected with no supervision required without any surprise costs. A+ company in my book.

Fixed a water leak in front yard that had doubled our water bill. Put in a new line, fixed out of code irrigation line. Fixed toilet that had become unattached requiring new flange attachment to the sewer line and replaced frozen shut off water line to toilet. Lots of work done efficiently. Came out first thing Monday morning got utility line clearances and started digging. New modern fittings and lines replacing 40 year old fittings and lines. Great work!

I’ve used Alexanders plumbing three times and they always exceeded our expectations. We just bought our dream home and Alex installed a new pressure regulator, a whole house water filter and a water softener due to the high mineralization of the Phx water. Mineral deposits caused our Bedroom shower to only have hot water which I broke it trying to fix. Alex came to the rescue and saved us from a much higher repair bill. Thank You Alexander plumbing!

HONEST RELIABLE WORK

After finding a water leak seeping out from under the garage door Saturday morning I was not to happy to find that my water heater (7 years old) was draining from the bottom seal across my garage floor. Yay.

After making a few inquiries online I landed on Alexander's Plumbing. I dealt with two people during the initial quote call, a lovely woman who guided me through the information I would need to provide the technician, and the technician himself who made an inspection window of time to come by and write out the quote for services.

After a prompt inspection of my old unit, I was given a precise explanation of the cause of my faulty unit, what I could do moving forward to prevent it happening again and a cost quote for the installation of a new unit.

After talking with several other local businesses (big brands) I realized the price was fair, and the technician was MILES above the competition in regards to courtesy, explanation of the process and professionalism.

The minute he left after the consultation my wife said he was the one to chose, that he felt the most reliable and honest. And she was right.

We had an unexpected leak in our sprinkler vacuum breaker system and urgently needed a plumber. We called Alexander's and he was able to come by quickly & stop the leak. He went above and beyond, explaining everything in layman's terms & returned the following day to replace the system. He was communicative, timely, and knowledgeable. My hot water heater was leaking and this company was an approved facility for warranty repair. Alex came and replaced the hot water heater same day. My family has been using Alexander's Plumbing for 6 years. We lost water to our house due to our main line in the front yard erupting on a Saturday. Alex was able to take my call mid afternoon, do an assessment and have his team to dig up and replace the line by Sunday morning. Everything was done very professionally and clean. Very happy customer.

We recently had a leak in our garage and we called Alexander's Plumbing to come out and take a look. They came out and within an hour were able to identify where the leak was coming from and fix the issue. They also helped us with a clog we had in our kitchen sink. We felt they were very professional and were surprised when we saw the bill as we had expected to pay significantly more. I would definitely recommend these guys to anyone!

Hired this company to fix my tankless gas water heater, that broke because of poor installing of another plumper. Its never easy to fix someones mess ups. Alex was very patient, took his time to figure out the issue and to be on the phone with the manufacture to get new parts.
Also had a water softener installed at another home. They do very clean job, knowledgable and professional.

I've used Alexander since 2007 when I moved to Arizona and he has been nothing but reliable. From a broken hot water heater on New Years Eve to a malfunctioning toilet, he has been quick to respond to any plumbing issues I've had. He and his team are honest and professional, and his prices are always very reasonable. I cannot recommend them enough!

I replaced angle stops on ~20 different locations in the home. The work was done impeccably well by Eddie. He ws very meticulous and quality conscious while working. I highly recommend him.

The only reason I have 2 stars is because I got overcharged $110 on this job. They picked up some items for this job that were not used; Alex agreed to refund me this amount and I am still waiting for the check for two months.

Alex saved the day. My water heater suddenly quit. I called several plumbers and got several "very high" quotes. Alex showed up and installed the same system that I got very high quotes on at a much more reasonable price. Also Alex and his employee started at 6pm and worked until 9pm getting my water heater installed because I was out of hot water. I didn't expect him to do that, but am very grateful that they did. They did a very nice job on the install and answered all my questions. Would recommend 1000%

I didn't know where to start searching for a plumber and went with Alexander's based on the reviews. Best decision! Kitchen faucet was leaking everywhere. They were here within an hour. He replaced the fixture with one on hand that was gorgeous and even cleaned up the generously used sink. Very professional, friendly, quick, and efficient. Highly recommend!
