Plumbing reviews in Phoenix, Arizona

Terrible experience had a tech come out, from the jump Jacob seemed irritated, I told him the issue and immediately tried quoting me a 700 to 1200 to clean all the pipes throughout my house with a jetter. (keep in mind I’m a female, with no idea how any of this works, didn’t take time to explain, and would look at me stupidly whenever asking a question) Only the left side of my kitchen sink was slowly draining. Previously, months ago I called penguin a better plumbing company they cleaned out my drain with no issue by putting a snake down the draining and unclogging the drain. However when trying out Ben Franklin, they left without even putting real effort of unclogging the drain. Jacob was here from 9:37 am till 10:05. With about 10 minutes “pretending” to attempt to unclog. Customer service sucks. After tech left, immediately called customer service on how terrible the experience was they stated they with give the information to manager and they have no time frame on when I will hear something back because managers are out on the field too.
Just here, unable to use to kitchen sink because they tried to just make me pay more than actually trying to help. Total waste of time. Definitely don’t recommend. -
** BEWARE** Looks like they bought the 5 star reviews, if you observe the 1 star reviews you will see a clear pattern.
Their modus operandi is that "they will schedule a visit for quote , 85$ for the visit and then quote you unreasonable amount. "
They quoted me 900$ for RO filter change which seemed absured to me so I refused, then called their office to complain and the operator said the manager or the pricing department will get back to me, it has been almost 3 weeks and I followed up 4 times but no one takes the accountability, that's when I saw the reviews and looked for 1 star reviews and you can clearly see , this is how they are scamming people. They don't want to provide service , they just want the 85$ appointment fees and for few people who becomes their victim they charge the absurd amount. -
James arrived on time and was very pleasant. He looked at the issue and explained to me the problem and had it fixed within 15 mins. He asked me to keep an eye on it and said if I see any additional leaks on the area he repaired to contact them and they would take care of the issue. I was very happy with the service.

Had an issue with my kitchen sink not draining. Figured it would need a snake to get rid of a clog. This was way more involved from when the home was remodeled, but they mapped, cleaned and jetted out all 4 lines that went to the main sewer line just to be sure I was happy. Snaking didn't do anything so they went and got the equipment needed to solve the issue. They didn't rush and wanted to be sure everything was taken care of. Highly recommended!

Cisco and his partner took amazing care of our job. They were nice, professional and communicated everything that was happening step by step. They cleaned up the area nicely and made sure we were up and running.
Jack, the first representative we met to look at our situation and quote us, was also wonderful. He came back to prep Cisco before they started, and we felt at ease. This was a great experience and will hire them again. Thanks for everything!!!

Benjamin Franklin was very responsive and professional. Brad made it a priority to come checkout my leaking hot water tank within a few hour and he was awesome.. I would highly recommend them

We were very disappointed and regret ever calling them to come out to fix a simple plumbing problem. The quote once here was outrageous! The technician tried to up sale us on a new toilet too which was rather insulting because our current toilet it totally fine and no leak despite what the technician was trying to make us believe. What was going to be at the lowest $900 and some odd dollars to repair we had another company come out and they repaired it for $49. Ben Franklin Plumbing is a complete rip off and we are disgusted that we were charged the trip charge for them. I highly recommend you call someone else as they are not trustworthy and are ridiculously over priced. The whole experience felt like a major scam to us and they just want to get as much money out of you as possible. When we told the technician no he then on the spot dropped the price down to $500 so why wasn’t it $500 to begin with which was still way too much.

Prompt clear analysis and estimate did job in one day which was great bc not having water on his difficult. Replaced water line from house to curb due to break.

Service was excellent but the price was very expensive for a 30 minute spigot replacement.

The experience from start to finish was excellent, from customer service rep who took my call and scheduled the appointment to Jacob the service technician who completed the hot water heater installation.
I was able to same day service on Black Friday. Within 2 hours of my call for help, I had a service technician at my house.
Jacob was not only extremely professional and polite but also highly knowledgeable and skilled. Both Jacob and the customer service representative were patient, answered all my questions and they worked with me to get the best deal. -
The lady who took my initial call was amazing. Scott, the plumber, was also amazing. Everyone was so nice and friendly, I thought for sure it'd be a great company. Unfortunately, they tried to charge me $500+ for snaking a drain. I found a coupon from a different company for $49, so I did that instead. I was still charged $76 for the visit to come out and do nothing.

Brewer installed the plumbing/water heater in our new build. The gas control valve stopped working just outside the 2 year builder warranty. The sticker on the water heater said to call this number which Ben Franklin plumbing answers. A lady answered unprofessionally and took my info saying someone would call next day. No call. I called back and spoke to someone else who said a tech would call the next day. The next day comes and Jake called and showed up to diagnose. Jake said the gas control valve needed replaced and would cost $550 for labor as part was under warranty. Jake ends up removing gas control valve and taking it with him to exchange. Next day comes and Jake texted/called to say part won’t be available for 2 weeks and only options are to wait, buy a new water heater for over $2k or pay extra $200 for an after market part. $750.00 labor to replace a gas control valve on a water heater is insane. I went to get other quotes and come to find out Jake ripped off the serial number info sticker from water heater. When questioned it to him, he said he needed it for warranty. I asked for the missing sticker and part he took back. He claimed he could not bring it back but could only mail it. I’m still waiting going on a week after. The professionalism, customer service, knowledge, price points, and courtesy are a disgrace and I do not recommend using this company for any of your plumbing needs ever.

Scott, Duncan & Tristan, were all very personable and professional. They made me feel confident with the amount of knowledge they have. They did an excelent job with all of my repairs including a water softener replacement, new water main riser and more. I would highly recommend them for your plumbing needs and I will count on them for any future work.

Buyer beware. Do not use this company.
Benjamin Franklin Plumbing acted in a predatory and misleading way toward my parents. They were quoted around $1,100 for a water heater, but after it was installed, the company suddenly claimed the cost was $11,000—a figure that was never clearly disclosed or agreed to.
Once the work was done, they pressured my parents to either pay the $11,000 or set up a payment plan. After firm pushback, my parents ultimately paid $2,000, which only highlights how inflated and unreasonable the $11,000 demand was.
This felt like a bait-and-switch tactic used on vulnerable customers. Get everything in writing and look elsewhere. -
This is an exceptional team of technicians who consistently demonstrate professionalism, honesty, and trustworthiness. They take great pride in their work, and it truly shows in the quality of the service they provide.

Very pleased with the service. Nice young man he was prompt, presented options and went to work. I appreciate a good company. Thank you.

Don't let these people in your house! I paid them to service all of my ro filters a few months ago. Even got a receipt that says they serviced my RO filters. Now I had them out because a housing is failing and they quoted me $100 to fix it and wouldn't take no for an answer. Then they came back to the door 5 mins later wanting to do it for free. SUPER SCAMMY!

Jacob was amazing he was upfront with pricing before he even arrived he walked me through the process and kept me informed and repaired my outside spigot in less then an hour. I will use Benjamin Franklin again!

Hired to install a sink and faucet. Everything went well until the installer gouged the brand new counter top. He assured me the company would certainly take care of it. I should hear from them asap. After four calls, I still haven't heard back from them. They were very pricey, and they do not stand behind their services.
