Knowledgeable, helpful, professional, friendly and fast service
I have a 5-year water heater that starts to leak and had to be replaced under warranty. Andrew handled the warranty replacement like the pro that he is. First phone call was very pleasant and Andrew described the process very clearly. Then I was in and out with a new water heater just a very few minutes. I highly recommend them to everyone. I will definitely do business with them again any time I need plumbing supplies.

This is my go-to shop for all my plumbing parts and materials, drew is driven towards making sure you get what you need, and if they don't have it, they will get it for you. I've been going here for years now and it's the best place in town. I recommend it to anyone who asks where to find plumbing supplys

Probably one of the best hidden gems for plumbing supplies in the North valley ! And who doesn't like a slushy on a hot day ?!

I called Andrew and he put a “Rheem” hot water heater on hold for me with my name on it. Andrew also gave me some advice on what I needed for the installation. The service was fantastic and so was the price.I am not a plumber and was able to complete the job easily. Although be careful telling a plumber that because they get their feelings hurt pretty quick!

Plumbers crack in North Phoenix is the best! Better service then any supply house in town, Better prices then Home Depot or Lowe's, and they always have what I need in stock. Thank you Plumbers Crack!

I went to this location in need of a water heater stand. Unfortunately, they didn't have it in stock. Luckily, their staff were incredible! They could have just wished me luck (or not) and sent me on my way to find the part on my own but instead, they went above and beyond. They referred me to one of their competitors, which in and of itself isn't that uncommon probably BUT they insisted on calling to make sure the part was there before I left because they didn't want to waste my time. While one staff member was making the call (and on hold) another staff member offered me water/soda. It has been one of those weeks for me and my interaction with the kind and professional staff at The Plumbers Crack really made a difference. I wish I had gotten their names. Thank you!

    ***Full details***

--Aug 17 2017 Called my home warranty customer service for a problem with Gas water heater at home and they sent QUALIFIED TECHNICIANS of Veterans Plumbing. Jose and another person came in and removed the burner assembly looked at it in all directions for a while and told me that they do not have the right spare to replace and will have to look for it. Point to be noted is they did not tell me what the problem was or which part needs to be changed. Told me they will call back in 2 hours to update and then left. 2 hours passed with no update.

--Aug 18 2017 No call yet from Veterans Plumbing. Seeing family suffer in the morning, called them to understand where they are with the issue and asked which part is faulty to see if I can buy it somewhere else and speed up things due to family need. Front office transfers call to Frank and the answer is Thermocouple and burner assembly has to be changed. I am not convinced as I already spoke to AO SMITH customer service, manufacturer of my Gas Water heater. When I tried to explain him what I was trying to do, he said he knows what he is doing and hanged the phone on me.

Called BlueFrog Scottsdale and they were available to come between 12 and 2 PM. They were right on time and THERE WAS A SHOCKER waiting for me.

Alex was the technician from Bluefrog, he told me what he was going to do and was searching for the serial number of the heater. Serial number label was missing which was there on Aug 17. Luckily I had taken a picture of it on Aug 17 7:43 am and I was able to give Alex the serial number from it. While Alex started his diagnosis, called up Veterans Plumbing and asked for the serial number label and they said no one took it. Since Aug 17 7:43 am when I took the picture of the serial number label till Aug 18 ~12:20 PM there were only 3 outsiders in my garage. Frank and another plumber from Veterans Plumbing and then Alex, I was with Alex from the moment he entered the garage and till we found the label was missing.

Within 20 mins Alex found the issue and he told me the problem was with the Honeywell valve, not the Thermocouple burner assembly. He made couple of calls and came back with the new valve by 2:20 pm, next 15-20 mins heater was up and running.

Since I did not register my heater and anyone/technicians can call AO SMITH and order parts with the serial number stolen from my house called AO SMITH and asked them to flag my serial number so no one else other than me can order parts or replace the heater. Another shocker was waiting there, I came to know that I have 3 more years of manufacturer warranty and now since the serial number label is stolen my heater will not be covered.

I will be calling Veterans Plumbing on Aug 21 (Monday) and explain this to someone in a Manager level to see if I can retrieve the serial number label back. Will update what happens next.

If I could give zero stars I would. They don’t answer calls or return messages, they don’t show up when they say they will, and they don’t fix the problem even after coming twice to address it. Customer service is atrocious. The only reason we used them is because of the home warranty company. Listen to the other reviews on here and avoid this company.

Awful smell coming from the guest bathroom since I purchased the home. FNHW sent out this company. I stated that it might be an issue with the p-trap or wax ring on the toilet. The technician stated immediately upon setting foot in the bathroom that it was neither of those things and "probably" because the guest tub was not being used frequently enough. He then started to head outside back to his van stating he'll let the warranty company know and he left. I have placed several calls to complain to FNHW for the visit that was conducted on 09/22 but the warranty company said they must wait to review the report submitted by Veteran's Plumbing and that it should have only taken 24 hours for them to submit it... it's been longer than that and they've yet to submit the report so I can dispute the diagnosis to hopefully get a real company to come evaluate it.

Beware of this company. My expansion tank (on top of my water heater) had a hole in it. Through a quick diagnostic, Veteran's identified that I needed a new expansion tank for my water heater. They quoted me $400 for the expansion tank and the installation. Although I was in a bind, I didn't bite on the quote. Let's just say something didn't feel right about it.

Fast forward. I'm taken back by the high cost and start doing my own research. I found that expansion tanks are very inexpensive and take very little time to replace. I go to Home Depot. The expansion tank was $40. The time it took to install it (through another company) was 30 minutes. Total cost for the tank and the install.....$106.00, not $400.00. Sorry, Veteran's Plumbing.

Home owners, be warned. Veteran's Plumbing tries to take full advantage of the unsuspecting. Do your research, get a second opinion, watch YoutTube to understand the intensity (or the lack thereof) of the work. Don't hire this company.

Side note: The tank was leaking. The service techs collected their $45 service fee and didn't even offer to help me stop the leak until I was able to get it replaced. When I asked them for help, they told me "its not covered". I asked the woman to at least tell me how to ensure the tank doesn't continue getting water. She reluctantly told me where the lever was that needed to be turned. Super unfriendly, no helpful at all. The company never called me back to follow-up on the quote either.

Seems to me they are just looking for easy money.

I find it hysterical that they have a bunch of 5 star reviews in a matter of 24 hours... It looks like someone is trying to improve their ratings to recover after all of the truthful 1 star ratings hit their pages. I wonder when they will close down...

If I could leave a zero star review, I would. AND... I already know the company is going to write a bogus rebuttal, just as they did to the BBB complaint I filed... This business is just out to cover their own a** since their office staff and technicians are worthless. Please see review below.

Being a small company, they should put more emphasis into customer service and providing a memorable experience.
Veterans Plumbing & Drain, LLC ("Veterans") is a vendor of our home warranty company, Fidelity National Home Warranty ("Fidelity"). Fidelity contracted with Veterans to provide services with a water heater repair or replacement.

On the evening of March 27, 2018, a technician by the name of Jose from Veterans arrived at our home to look into our water heater issue. He was very rude, was not friendly or professional and did not explain any issue or discovery. After diagnosing the issue and replacing a water line, he stated another issue couldn't be resolved. We probed and asked questions in order to find out that they wouldn't rectify the situation. We were simply advised that we would hear from Veterans on the next business day.

On the morning of March 28, a representative from Veterans contacted us to ask questions about the water tank size and said we would hear back soon. She said a technician would be at our home between 1300 - 1500 hours to replace the water tank.

At 1455 hours, we called Veterans to get an estimated time of arrival and were advised that our appointment had been moved to the following business day. Veterans had been advised by Fidelity that the claim wasn't initially approved so they removed our appointment. After discussing the issue with Fidelity, the claim was approved but we still wouldn't have warm water until the next day.

We called Veterans back and after speaking to both Jose the technician and Maritza the customer service representative, we told them that we needed a 1600 appointment. Both Jose and Maritza confirmed and reassured us that a technician would be at our home by 1600 hours on March 29th.

Today, March 29th at 1605 hours, we called Veterans to determine an estimated time of arrival. The technician that answered said that there was another appointment before us and that he had us in a window from 1600 - 1800 hours. He stated he wouldn't be arriving until closer to 1800 hours. Due to prior obligations, we advised Veterans that we needed someone at our home ASAP. The technician said he wouldn't be able to appear.

We then called Fidelity to probe and look for a resolution. The only option was to find a new vendor as Veterans was now telling Fidelity that they wouldn't be able to work on our home was we were a liability at this point, considering we had called them multiple times.

DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY. They are rude, don't stand by their word, don't abide by a schedule and have ZERO customer service skills.

This is a poor customer service company. They dont have competent employees. I didn't call them, my home warranty did.
They were not able to fix my issue. An employee named Jose came and he wanted to drain clean thru the main pipe and unfortunately my pipe is in my back living room. I asked him if thats the only way he can unclog the pipe and he said yes.. well to make my story short my warranty cancelled my claim. so i called Diamondback Plumbing.. and they were able to clean it out thru the main bath tub. So i paid my home warranty for nothing and paid the other company. I do not recommend this company at all. And if they erase this.. i will keep posting this.

Veterans plumbing came out to check leak in both bathrooms. Told me it didnt leak. Then it started to leak everywhere so I pointed it out to him. He said he had to call his boss and would be right back in. I walked outside about 5 minutes later and he had left without saying or fixing anything. They never returned my calls, Then he told the home warranty company it was fixed. It leaks twice as bad now. And fidelity is just as unaccountable as they are. Never use this place.

The technician, Frank was very reliable, honest and such a diligent and fast worker. It only took him a maximum of 15 minutes to finish the job. Add to that I found out that the last technician from another company who worked on my disposer cheated on me by replacing it with a small disposer that is not meant to be used for a home. So he upgraded my unit that quick and replaced it. If I can give more than 5 starts to this technician I would. Kudos to Veterans Plumbing for having Frank as one of their technician. More power to this company!

Back in January of 2015 they replaced a hot water heater thru my home protection plan i had with Old Republic. They installed a gas hot water heater, but wrote it down as a electric hot water heater in the notes, on top of the warranty going back to August 2014 and not the date of installation, therefor i am now out my warranty because they didn't do their notes right nor add the SN number anywhere. So A O Smith wont push the warranty date out. They ghosted me initially for over a week when i first contacted them. They told me my hot water heater was under warranty then came out to tell me it wasn't and would charge me full price if they install it. They don't keep paperwork or anything for old installations at all. POOR POOR BUSINESS! STAY AWAY FROM THEM!

RESPONSE: Don't tell me you didn't ghost me when i first contacted you. YOU DID. I left multiple calls the first week i contacted you to setup even the first meeting with you guys. I've read multiple reviews where you guys don't answer nor call back. You are a company with 3.2 stars and 100 reviews, clearly you aren't doing something right and it shows thru your reviews. Maybe go find a new profession. BTW I have spoken with A O Smith and they say this has happened quite often that installers don't update the warranty like they should when they install. Good thing A O Smith takes care of their Veterans. Maybe you can learn to do better, but doubtful.

Also you handed me a full invoice? You have proof of that? Because i have proof that i was overseas with the military during this happening. I did all of this remotely.. Nice try... LIARS

My home warranty company had them out for a water heater repair. Unit is still under warranty. For 650$ they would replace my 40 gallon water tank??!! They called my warranty company to have me agree to these charges. I declined and they left in seconds. Seemed fishy!!

This company is horrible. If you are looking for a company that will lie to you, never return phone calls, miss appointments without letting you know, and ignore your calls when there’s a problem then this is the company. No wonder there main source of business comes through home warranty a because nobody in their right mind would choose to use this company. Been waiting 5 days for a water heater replacement. Next complaint is to the better business.

Called several times and left messages with work order number. Third day called different plumber and canceled the worker order. After that co finally called and said they be out next day. Advise co who was cancelled .

Worst Plumbing Company Ever! 100% Terrible service. They don't even deserve 1 Star!!!

Referred to by my Home Warranty company so I had to use them. At 7AM I noticed that I had a hot water leak at my house coming through the concrete slab which I explained to my home warranty. They send a request to bunch of different plumbers and who ever can get there first get's the contract apparently. So Veteran's Plumbing called me stating they could be at my place between 3 and 6PM. I asked them if they could come earlier and they said that's the window they have.. ok so far no problem. I explained to them everything and where the water was coming from. Plumber shows up around 3:30PM and is literally at my place for 5 minutes (inside the house actually looking at my issues). He stated he'd be back tomorrow because they don't perform leak detection!!! WOW what a useless plumber. I explained to them before they came out that the water was coming through the concrete slab soo guess what?! You need to do a leak detection!! How mind blowing. The next day they told me they could have a leak detection company out there on Friday!!! Really?? I have to wait 5 business day's because you're too incompetent to find a leak! Which by the way I found myself by using an infrared camera.

Long story short I ended up finding the leak and demo'ing out the floor myself and dug out the dirt. My home warranty sent out "Economic Plumbing" who then fixed the leak for me last night (Thursday).

If I would have waited for Veteran's Plumbing they still wouldn't know where the water is coming from!! What a bunch of experts they are! Thanks for nothing.

Mind blowing how they are still in business with all the frustrated customer's they got because of their incompetency. Also, the secretary blatantly lied to me when she told me that my Home Warranty hasn't given her approval to send out a leak detection company. I called them up and complained and they told me that she has had approval already!!!
