Plumbing reviews in Phoenix, Arizona

Sorry this review is a little late. Thank you Jose for all your help. I had just bought a new house/condo this spring when one month in, my upstairs shower started raining into my pantry. I called my home warranty and not one company could come out same day, but they gave me the number of Veteran's plumbing and I called and spoke with a very understanding person and she took pity on my and got me an appointment that day. The technician was awesome. Not only was Jose on time, he was professional and explained everything and even helped me understand plumbing a little better. We had a hard time getting the plumbing to repeat the problem, even with trouble shooting. It started happening again 10 minutes after he left (of course) and I was able to call him and he came right back and caught it and was able to diagnose the problem immediately. After all the reconstruction, asbestos abatement, etc Jose was able to come back out immediately to fix the shower so I could move back in. Will be using this company again because they actually care about their clients.

Absolutely appalled at the level of unprofessionalism with this company. First off, the technician was rude and condescending in his approach and secondly, the owner of the company was unprofessional, defensive, and totally out of line when he had an opportunity to turn the situation around for a customer. I do not recommend Veteran's Plumbing to anyone!
Let me explain:
Our technician didn't initially fix our plumbing problem...He told us we just needed to order some drain cleaner product to clean our drains. After he left, I noticed the same problems continued to persist along with an additional problem that had been created... Now our washing machine was leaking water everywhere. He returned back out to our place 30 minutes later irritated as can be (like it was my fault).
He spent about 2 more hours fixing the issue... and then left without giving us instructions on how to drain out all of the mucky water that had collected in our washer. He just said the problem was fixed... didn't even have the courtesy to turn back on our water in laundry room or provide us with information on next steps.
Fast forward to the next morning, and now our washing machine isn't working at all... the water isn't properly draining out of it so I called Home Warranty back to let them know we now have another problem. The owner of Veteran's Plumbing calls me a few minutes later:
He starts with "I heard you are accusing our plumber of breaking your washer..." First off, what type of business owner leads with that?
The owner was extremely rude and unprofessional the rest of the conversation... completely unhelpful. I expressed my frustrations in a professional manner and told him I'm not accusing anyone- I'm simply stating that now we have another problem.
I said I would be turning to review sites to share my experience. He said "Go ahead, we will be sure to write you one back." LOL what kind of business owner responds with that? Just goes to show...
I hope you find this review helpful in your decision making process of finding a plumbing company to work with. -
Our hot water heater went out suddenly and our home warranty company sent out Veteran's Plumbing. I am very happy with the results. The service was quick, competent, and friendly. I definitely recommend using this company.

We had a plumbing leak in our wall and we were connected with Veteran's through our home warranty. We will absolutely use Veteran's again in the future if we need anything done. They were professional, fast, and did an excellent job. I highly recommend them! They also offer military and LEO discounts!

TLDR: Poor and unprofessional service. For a utility servicing company, they are slow to respond and have no sense of urgency. Only provide statement of charges verbally and not written. Would not recommend, they don't seem to want your business.
If you have no water or an emergency, don't even bother calling them.
Here is the story of what happened:
My water heater broke and I was assigned this vendor by Fidelity Home Warranty. They were assigned at 10:30am. They did not call me to schedule until 2pm or later and said it would be between 3pm to 6pm when they could get someone out. They were slow to respond, had I had a leaking heater my house would have been flooded.
Moving on, I was assigned a technician named Jose. He gave me a call at 4:30pm, only to let me know that he would be at my property in 3 minutes. Obviously I could not get there in 3 minutes since I did not live at the property. I texted him and told him my property gate code and lockbox code and that I was on my way, when I got there 20 minutes later he left me a voice mail at 4:37pm saying that he left because noone answered the door and had to reschedule for the next morning. I called him and texted him to come back but he did not respond and blocked me instead. The next day he came back at 3 pm and I told them give me a 30 minutes heads up which they did. He came 1.5 hours later. Walked in the condo, took 1 minute to look at everything and left.
THIS COULD HAVE BEEN DONE THE DAY BEFORE. (No sense of urgency and zero respect for the customer)
At 450 pm I received a call from Fidelity regarding my bill. They told me the breakdown of charges and that the company only provided it verbally and not written. There was no way I was going to approve something only verbally. I called these guys back and asked to please provide a breakdown of charges in writing. They did not call me back and I had to call them the next morning to follow up, they told me they would not be able to come out the same day because I did not approve the charges and that they only provide it verbally over the phone. At that point, I called it off and called someone else.
Good luck using them to repair your home. -
Veteran's Plumbing worked with my home warranty company to replace my hot water heater. The service representative was timely, polite and professional. They told me what they were going to do and when and they kept there work. Great job!

DON NOT choose this company! They lie!
My home warranty company signed this company to me, they came and stayed about 2 minutes and told me they don’t do this kind of pipe leaking but they have already contacted my warranty company to confirm that this is covered and they will send another guy later.
Then I called the warranty company, however they said this is not covered and I can’t get my $75 service fee back. I don’t know who finally get this money but I know I was totally F**ked by them.
By the way the warranty company is called “Fidelity National Home Warranty”, never choose them. -
I would consider this company is a strong recommendation to someone you hate. My home warranty company sends these guys out to my house now and then and we have had nothing but problems. In the past, we have had no shows and whoever works at the office seems to be angered that we have the nerve to try to use their business. The techs have also been rude in the past but never really cared. I'm looking to get a drain cleared, not start a new friendship.
This go around they have no showed twice now for set appointments, its impossible to get anyone on the phone, and now the tech has decided the cause of the issue (warranty company wont cover it) without setting foot on my property. While all this is annoying, the real issue is my family has not been able to wash our clothes, use the kitchen sink, or dishwasher for over a week now while this company messes around. -
Horrible company and bad employees. They don't bother answering or returning the phone calls or letting you know what is going on with your order. The plumber that came to check on the issue was rude and not so cooperative too. They didn't call us for days to let us know about the repair even though we left numerous messages on the phone . And during all that time the waster was leaking in our garage and going into the walls. I would strongly advise you not to work with this company unless you really really have to. Just look at the other comments on line. Looks like lots of us have complaints about the similar issues.

Just want to give Frank a huge shout out for helping us recently. We were added to his schedule last minute and I'm sure he was exhausted from a full day of jobs but still made it to our house with a smile! He was so helpful and got us back on track. I will be holding on to Veteran's Plumbing info for our future plumbing needs!

I had scheduled and appointment for them to come to my home on 9/21. Between the hours of 9-12 they said they would call 30 minutes before their arrival. Around 11:30 my husband “who took a day off of work to make this appointment “ called them but no answer. I called them at 11:47. To find out where the technician was. Left a message. They Never showed up! It never bothered to call! On Monday morning I called them to find out what happened,? They said their office was close but their technicians were out working. “ obviously that was not the case”. And they had a note to speak to the technician, but no one ever reached out to the customer. I went through Fidelity home warranty to get this company. Obviously Fidelity doesn’t read the reviews!

We had a warranty claim and they were assigned to our issue today at 08:24. Without any prior notice they texted me at 09:09 and told me I was on schedule between 11:00-15:00. Then they called me at 09:30 and wanted to come between 13:00-15:00, and then the guy I spoke to about our plumbing issue, seemed more focused on trying to sell me solar panels. I was at work and made arrangements to leave to be there for the appointment. Then I was called by a technician at 11:36 and he told me he'd be there in about 20 minutes and told me I was on schedule for a 11:00-13:00 window. I told him I was already scheduled for a 13:00-15:00 window and was about to leave work. After leaving work on short notice nobody ever showed up. When I called their offices at 15:00, they had no idea of what I was talking about and "Maritza" just kept talking over me and not letting me explain. Unbelievably unprofessional and ridiculous. Now I'm calling my warranty company and getting another plumber assigned to us, because there's no way I am going to continue trying to deal with these clowns.

RUN...DO NOT DO BUSINESS WITH THIS COMPANY!!
FNHW called Veteran's Plumbing & Drain LLC to come out and expediated the request on 9/2/2022 due to water damage. The expediated order got me a call on 9/7 and they came out same day. Order was scheduled to replace water heater and another rush was put on the order. On 9/9/2022 I received a text with a time frame to come out to replace the water heater between 2-5., I responded within 38 minutes and was told the Friday spot had been filled. I asked why had they not called instead of sending a text, she said she did call and I didn't answer. UNTRUE!
I was then offered a Tuesday spot and that was confirmed, they were a no show, did not call, still have not called. They lied to FNHW about communications, they are the most unethical business I have dealt with. At this point I do NOT want this company in my home. I have opted to take the money and purchase my own water heater and use a reputable company for installation. One that knows how to use the phone, book appointments, show up, communicate and get the job done. -
I called my Home Warranty Company and was referred to Veterans Plumbing. Frank came over and took care of everything with the warranty company. He returned and changed out the toilet in absolutely no time. There was no mess, he was very efficient and courteous. I do recommend him to anyone.

I had an appointment that they set for 11-3pm.
No show, No call...... I called them at 3 and said my time is worth something too... they said sorry and would have Tech call.... Now 5:30 nothing, called again and office closed with "Voice mail not setup on recording" Just saying..... -
Called my home warranty because there was a leak in my water heater. They sent my request out and Vetern called me in less than an hour to schedule a same day appointment which I was very pleased about. There was some confusion about the quoted time window for their arrival but that was cleared up by my warranty company. The gentlemen that arrived were friendly and went straight to fixing the issue and replacing my tank. Had to pay for code upgrades because warranty didn't cover but previous plumbing company had warned that would happen due to age of unit (+15 years). New unit looks great, and I am very satisfied with job done.

I scheduled an appointment with Veterans on a Thursday afternoon and received an appointment time between 11-3 the next day. Frank called me the next day at 10:15 to say he was headed my way. I had an irrigation pipe burst on the side of my house and had to turn off all water to the house. He was able to fix it timely and efficiently in the same visit. I would not hesitate to call Veterans again. I was a little hesitant after reading all the bad reviews but they were referred by my Sears Home Warranty. I would use them again. Frank was friendly, timely and professional. He had the problem fixed and I had water again. Thank you Frank and thank you Veterans Plumbing!

Dealt with Veterans plumbing twice through home warranty and each time was a big disappointment. They have a 2 star rating for a reason. Don't waste your time or money.

Absolutely terrible. They didn’t show for the scheduled window. I called them after the window passed. They lied and said they were on their way, be there in 40 min. Another hour and a half passed. Nothing. Talked to some chick that clearly had zero clue and was the typical ‘I’m going to hang up this call’. She couldn’t take accountability for their screw ups if her life depended on it. Absolute crap company that needs to be reported to the BBB. I was forced to use them through American Water Resources which is also complete trash!!!!! Screw these companies. Use ANY OTHER plumbing service beyond Veterans. They should be ashamed to the use the name veterans. No integrity at all. And the chick working the phones should be fired.
UPDATE (lol)
ANDDD that’s your response??? You’re right. I have cell service. And didn’t get one single message from you that you’d be delayed and AFTER the window passed for the appointment, not a single message from you for an update nor an apology for wasting my time all day. I had to take the initiative to call in to figure out why you were a NO CALL NO SHOW. What is the point of an appointment? Emergencies or not. There are emergencies everyday, you guys don’t know how to plan accordingly?? The fact the you say in your Google response that I come second after I had an appointment for almost a week because you didn’t think it was a big enough problem says it all. What a joke. Sorry you guys are soft and can’t take a few cuss words after you completely screwed the pooch. Zero accountability.
Don’t do business with these guys. They’re garbage. -
I had Jose and Frank come out to work on my plumbing. Smart guys they found a leak behind the wall and fix it. Plus a few other things I’ve got to say they’re hard-working and they did an awesome job. I greatly appreciate the two of them. And I will use Veterans Plumbing And Drain again

I needed an expert to help install a new water heater. My home warranty company referred to me Veteran's Plumbing & Drain LLC. I can talk for hours how professional they were and helped me quickly. If you ever call them, ask for the technician Frank. Not only is very nice but he is very good on keeping you updated with EVERYTHING. Thank you for being such a great service Veteran's Plumbing & Drain LLC.
