I recently had my HVAC system replaced by Howlair, and I was more than satisfied with the entire experience. The quality of their service was outstanding. From start to finish, everything went smoothly and professionally.

John, the owner who handled the replacement was thorough, and took the time to answer my questions. His attention to detail and dedication to ensuring everything was done correctly was evident throughout the process.

I was told by another HVAC company who came highly recommended that I needed in the neighborhood of $6500 worth of repairs on my 8 year 9 month HVAC unit due to failing parts including a freon leak. (Unit was working fine by the way.) Another company said repairs would cost around $3300 to install a new evaporator coil. I called HOWLAir for another opinion. John came out and said let's wait and see if you develop any problems to see if there really is a leak as the pressures are all good right now and the unit appears to be working fine. I will definitely make HOWLAir my new HVAC company. John was also personable, responsible, communicative and respectful. What a great and honest service provider.

I was renting a Vrbo in Scottsdale and the A/C was not working on the day I arrived. The property manager contacted HOWLAIR and John was out within an hour. He is a very personable and professional employee. He replaced a part and it started working. He checked in to make sure it was working.
Unfortunately it stopped working again the next day and John arrived shortly after I contacted the property manager. After replacing another part it was working again. Again, John checked to make sure it was operating properly.
I would highly recommend HOWLAIR.

Owner/employee is repairing my neighbors a/c unit. They place their ladder in my driveway and enter her roof via my roof (we are flat roofed attached historically landmarked townhomes).
Their ladder damages the stucco facade on my house. They never knocked on my door for permission to place their ladder on my house. And they never contacted me to inform me of damage to my property.
When I finally made contact w owner, John, he laughed because I was upset at their lack of care/concern for damaged property.
When you have multiple choices for HVAC companies, I would never recommend this company. The owner has zero customer service skills. His immaturely to take responsibility for his mistakes speaks volumes.

My 17 year old AC was on its last leg no doubt, so I did some research and found John with HowlAir. I’m so glad that his company was recommended by so many people because the level of care that went into getting my AC replaced was well worth it. His pricing is unmatched and there was no hidden costs or anything that he was dishonest about. With the summer temps heating up, I was super glad how quickly they were able to get everything back up and running. I appreciated that they cleaned up after themselves as well and left everything even cleaner than it was before. John is super easy to work with and shows up on time. I highly highly recommend giving them a chance when you need assistance with your AC.

Karl Mayer is a master of his craft. Thank you for sorting out a new proper unit on 2022 Memorial holiday week. The hottest time of the year of course the 20 year old Rudd compressor seized. The new American Standard unit is...new and wonderful. Family is comfortable and happy again.

Karl came out and gave us an estimate after we moved into our new home. We needed a new heat pump and new duct work. After many estimates from other companies we decided on Karl. He is educated in his field and was able to answer all our questions with ease. He never tried to up sale us with unneeded items. We are very happy with our current heat pump and new duct work and already are noticing a difference. We look forward to a lower APS bill this summer.
