We were in need of a new AC unit. After interviewing five reputable companies, we were extremely impressed with the information AC by J representative (Mike) provided. He was honest and knowledgeable, recommending what was needed for our home. They were on schedule and efficient. Great communication and professional. We are fortunate to have a company that cares about the service they provide.

Ryan did a great job and he is very professional. I recommend this company to everyone.

I had James for the first time today. He was so pleasant and so knowledgeable. I felt very comfortable having him come into my house. I called the office to add his name to my account. I usually request Kazir but he was working on an emergency today. So now I have two techs on my account. He was great.

I’m updating my review after today’s experience. Today my ac was not cooling after a tune up last weekend; I called and AC by J had the same technician out in an hour. He spent a good amount of time cleaning our condensation lines and even took a video and pictures. After spending almost an hour and a half making sure we had our ac up and running properly, he didn’t even charge us. Aside from all of that he was super kind and has excellent customer service. I’ll be recommending AC by J to everyone I know; and using them for all future AC needs. The technicians name was Wes.

Great technicians. Friendly, polite, knowledgeable, and respectful of property.
Service was professional. Installed new water heater with pressure tank and a pressure valve on main water line.

First time using ACbyJ and very happy! James might have been best tech we have had in 20 years at home. Very thorough and explained everything in great detail. Only had previous company that installed system checking it for last 8 years and wish would have made switch sooner.

I called AC by J, back in May, to have my AC unit serviced. I was told the earliest I could get the appointment for was July 18th, which was fine because this is their busy season. Fast forward to the day before my scheduled appointment, I get a message stating everything was set and they'd be here tomorrow. Later that day, I received a message stating they wouldn't be able to come out at all due to employees calling out sick and emergencies scheduled. I requested a call back and was basically told, sorry about your luck but we can reschedule you for August! I understand that they will make more money fixing broken units but this is highly unprofessional.

In a word, disappointing. Delays, Lack of knowledge on installation processes, problems with York condenser, thermostat, and at various levels of installation. The install started at 9am and ended close to 7pm. I initially chose AC by J because we had a long-standing relationship, despite the AC quote costing $1000 more than a very good competitor with 3 times the experience. I am beyond disappointed in my decision. I do not have confidence that this unit was installed correctly or that it will not have continued problems moving forward. Despite the persistent issues met by the installation team, no manager or supervisor tried to reach out to me one time or visit to provide support to the team. Again, what a (costly) disappointment.

As with every time I need them to help with an issue, they are quick to respond. Jimmy Joe worked on a plumbing issue for me and he was punctual, friendly and did a great job! He went over and above, realizing that the problem could be caused by the AC and had that appointment set up for me as well. I have worked with this company for the last 7 years. They are the best!!
