Stephen has come out many times over the years to service both of my AC units. He is always very friendly, positive and knowledgeable. He doesn’t overcharge (and sometimes undercharges for quick fixes). If there is an issue with your AC, give him a call first!

I had Stephen over to get a second opinion after Air Now recommended adding several pounds of refrigerant and sealant.
Stephen ran several tests and discovered that no refrigerant was needed.
I really appreciated his willingness to come over and give me a free estimate & honest assessment.
I highly recommend Stephen for all your HVAC needs.

Greenwood Air hits all the marks of a superior business. Their pricing beats all the rest with no hidden costs and with top notch quality products and installation. I have a special needs adult and my water heater had to be replaced. With the care I need to provide for my special daughter I needed a service that was affordable and extremely responsive. Greenwood Air went above and beyond to ensure my daughter had minimal interruption in warm water availability. Their customer service and demonstration of genuine client care needs was the best I have ever experienced. Every other place I contacted was apathetic to my daughters special care needs and would not book my service for at least several days out. Yet Greenwood Air heard of my plight and came to our rescue on the weekend with great immediacy to our needs.

I will need to replace my furnace and air conditioner in the near future and I will only move forward with Greenwood Air!

Absolutely amazing! As a real estate agent for 20 years I’ve dealt with a lot of a/c companies, some good, some bad. Greenwood Air is absolutely amazing! They have been to my house for 3 separate issues in the last year, 2 a/c problems and 1 heater problem. Each time they fixed the problem on the first trip. They are honest, knowledgeable and more than fair on their pricing. I only give 5 stars to companies that exceed my expectations. I would give 6 stars to Greenwood Air if I could. I highly recommend!

Greenwood air is one of the most ethical and understanding AC companies I have ever dealt with. I work nights and came home to a non working AC, decided to wait till the morning and called several AC companies who were either placing me on "brief" holds or giving me appointments several days out even though my house was reaching the high 90s. I luckily found Greenwood Air and Stephen was able to get me up and running same day, even earlier then expected. Quick, professional and fair priced. No pushy agendas or shady warranty talks!

Just want to say I’ve had one of the best services through Greenwood air than I’ve ever had . They are a great pair of guys that are trustworthy , their workmanship is spot on , you can’t beat the price. These guys are awesome, very productive, respectful and crazy service. I had two AC/Heater units replaced and the service was incredible. I had two other vendors give me pricing and Greenwood smoked them in price and to me, my opinion, the politeness, service and workers character i have not seen in a long long time. The work was superb, excellent. I just cant say enough to justify the job these guys completed... Love the Units, A BIG Thank you Greenwood to all your folks.

Stephen accepted my home warranty assignment and diagnosed that I needed a new fan motor, but refused to put in a generic easily-available part. The impression I had from him at the time was that the home warranty company's policy to order OEM parts, which I later found out was not true (he insisted he told me it was his personal policy because he has high quality standards). I made very clear when he made the diagnosis that my priority was to get a working AC as soon as possible, since it was 95+ degrees in Phoenix at that point. I waited for the part to arrive, then Stephen was on vacation for the following week so was unable to install it. After that, he got into a dispute with the home warranty company over their standard rate they offered to install the part. That dragged out for another few weeks before I finally escalated the claim and got it reassigned to another contractor, who came out within a couple days, put in a generic replacement motor, and did a few additional electrical repairs get my system back up and running. Though Stephen was generally prompt with communicating, I felt he was handling things in a way that was not considerate of my needs, and not fully honest about the home warranty process. After getting the repair completed by the new contractor, I called back Stephen and he insisted that he had told me it was his personal quality standard policy that required him to refuse to install a generic part, but that was definitely not my impression - otherwise I would have requested a different contractor as I wanted to get my AC working ASAP.

*I have adjusted from 1 star to 3 after Stephen has called and emailed me multiple times to ask for me to change my review. I have made several small adjustments to the content of my review (mostly where I had made assumptions about Stephen's motivations in handling things the way he did), but I stand by the overall frustrating experience and sense of less-than-outstanding customer service I had working with Greenwood. I told Stephen he is welcome to comment on the review to add his perspective and I expect he will.

I have used Greenwood Air multiple times for our A/C needs. They are ALWAYS professional, courteous, timely, knowledgeable and budget friendly. I would not recommend any other HVAC repair service. If you want A+ HVAC repair call Greenwood Air!! Hey……… that rhymed, cool.

Greenwood Air was excellent and I could not recommend them enough! Our AC unit went out and we waited on a different company to respond for over three hours, but never got a call back. We called Greenwood Air at 8PM, and Leigh was at our house in under thirty minutes. Our air conditioning was fixed in the next thirty and we will be able to sleep well tonight. Everyone we interacted with in the company was friendly, helpful, and very effective. You are in good hands with Greenwood Air!

We initially hired Greenwood Air to replace a coil. They came out and found an issue that other AC companies had not found and were honest about the real issue. They saved us money, time and are an honest up front company. We will definitely be using them in the future. I definitely recommend them!

Greenwood Air just replaced our 27 year old heat pump. We had a total of three estimates and Stephen gave us the best price. He is honest, reliable and very pleasant to deal with. We are very happy with the quality of his work and we appreciated that he took the time to explain everything to us. We highly recommend them.

I have had several interactions with Stephen Greenwood and each time was beyond superior customer service! The response time is amazing (leave a message and you will be called within 30 minutes on average!) and he will arrive as soon as he can. I have not had to wait 2-3 days, etc. for a tech to arrive - ever! (as with other companies). There is NO pressure for an upsell and he is honest with what is needed.
When I had both my AC units recently replaced the installation team was beyond professional. The refuse on my front lawn was honestly comical, but once the disposal team arrived you would never had known the lawn had looked like a junk yard (lol).

Greenwood air is an excellent company with exceptional service! Steve came out first thing the next morning after my upstairs unit went out, quickly repaired the unit, and charged a more than reasonable rate. Will be using them for all my future ac needs and would highly recommend them!

I am so glad I found this place! After several other A/C inspections, and a botched repair attempt- Greenwood Air renewed my faith in A/C companies. Stephen is awesome at what he does. He is very knowledgeable and informative. He patiently explained the problem I was having with my system, and what he was doing to fix it. He was able to get my system up and running for a very nominal fee. Other places were trying to charge me an obscene amount of money for a new system. I highly recommend Stephen and Greenwood Air. I have found my A/C guy! I am in a cool place and in good hands.

I found Greenwood Air online and had them replace my failing 21 year old AC. The price was better than the other companies I called and they did a good job. Communication via phone, email, and text has been prompt. No complaints, will use them in the future.

We were assigned Greenwood Air through our home warranty and they were pretty awesome! They got us on the schedule relatively quickly, considering we submitted the claim over the weekend. They gave us a two hour window and showed up promptly BEFORE the window even started! Really glad they were able to get to us so quickly and fix the issue before things started to heat up too much! Would definitely work with Greenwood Air again, regardless of warranty or not.

Steve was very professional ann was honest about what was happening and got us back up and running within a reasonable time. We are very impressed with this company.

These guys got here at 8 o’clock pm installed a mini split and finished at 9:30 the garage is already starting to cool down. I had 3 other a/c companies out here with nothing but a drain on my wallet. This company is amazing!
