Frank the Technician was amazing!. He came late at night and again the next morning to fix another problem with our air conditioner. He called the next day to make sure everything was working efficiently. I never had a technician so concerned like Frank. Thank you again!

If you’re wondering, yes, call Wolff. You will be glad you did. Brandon completed their seasonal maintenance service today—so needed in the summer in Arizona—and, as usual, went above and beyond, finding and fixing an unusual sound, changing the filters and lights, adjusting trays, and testing the return and supply air volumes and room temps. He reviewed his findings and the working of the system, which was appreciated. He also explained the open-the-doors concept that benefits cooling the whole house (yeah, it makes a big difference). Before he left, he added some notes on things to check during their winter service. It’s such a good feeling to know that our HVAC, such an important part of desert living, is in good hands. BTW, Brandon also talked about some new split-level units Wolff installs and services in addition to the traditional HVAC. Who knew? Amazing new tech that is super energy efficient. The future is here. That’s a bit of a tangent, but yes, call Wolff. Have been using them for years. Good work. Good folks.

The blower motor in my air handler went out at the worst possible time - August, right in the middle of 115 degree temps. Another company, which I have used for a decade (and have a yearly service contract with), came out and told me it would be 4 weeks until they could get the motor from the supplier. After hearing (and accepting) that bad news, I called Wolff Mechanical to see if they could do any better. Wolff found the motor at their supplier and after a few days of transit, they were able to fix my air handler. From the beginning, Wolff was great to work with - especially Andre and Linda. They came out the same day to confirm the motor they found was indeed the one I needed and they also confirmed I only needed the motor and not also the wheel which the other company suggested. I absolutely recommend Wolff!

Background:

I came home on Thursday to find my AC unit was pumping hot air into the house. Doing the turn it off / turn it back on trick didn't fully work as instead the motor for pumping the air into the house stopped working. I got in contact with them ASAP as I could tell this wasn't normal and they came over at 9pm to take a look (after finishing their other service calls for the day). When they arrived they identified the issue and we were set to get the replacement motor the next day.

Unfortunately, the fun didn't stop there and Friday morning I received a text from a tenant highlighting their AC didn't work either. Now I'm facing 2 AC units that aren't working. My rental property has a service contract with a different company (this happened before I met James and Emily). Oddly enough I had them scheduled to visit on Monday and called to move that up to today (Friday). I took off work to meet the other company's AC guy at the rental who informed me my compressor was shot and the R22 coolant is going to no longer be manufactured etc etc, and wanted to charge me $4,400 to replace the compressor OR $8,800 for a new AC. I informed this other AC repair guy that I was going to do my work through James - especially if I was going to replace the unit.

Resolution:

James and his team show up at my rental unit (having already been in contact with me for the replacement motor at my current home). He spent around an hour to two hours on the unit, replaces a few parts and my AC unit is back up and running with no issues. He also fixed a few other things (like the insulation which was blocking half of the internal coils). Post fixing my rental he goes to my current home and replaces the motor. Had I continued with my old AC service company I would have been charged excessively for a new AC unit at my rental that I didn't need.

I'm very thankful for James and Emily for their honesty and integrity as we looked at the situation I was facing and figuring out the best solution. Absolutely trustworthy and will be getting more of my business in the future.

Had my annual service today, and as always, since my new unit was installed 4 years ago, everything was fantastic. The tech, Andre, called with a prompt arrival time. He was personal, professional, and communicative. Highly recommend Wolff!

He reprogrammed one thermostat to switch automatically between heating and cooling. He was neat and professional, friendly and worked efficiently to complete the scheduled maintenance. It was helpful that he arrived in the early part of the 8 - 12 time slot and was done by 9 a.m. Wolff Mechanical has been a go to for me for over 20 years including new installs and redesign of duct work.

Worst company I've ever dealt with. I've had nothing but problems since I had them install my HVAC units. Recently another one went bad. They quoted me ten man hours at $175 per hour to fix a leaking coil, and that was under warranty and after I paid for a service contract! And that didn't include the freon that they wanted over a grand for! Don't do business with these scammers. They do poor work, don't stand behind it, then give you the run around. Life is too short to deal with unprofessional businesses with dishonest and unethical employees. Edit: See you're lying again. I did respond to you, and told you I planned to leave a bad review. Unlike your company, I kept my word. This kind of casual dishonesty is why I've called your company unethical. And you quoted me 10 hours of labor on a part that generally takes 4-6 hours to fix, at a rate far above the industry standard. Also you also installed a mini split system that has never worked and you never fixed that either. Also you mounted my AC units so it is extremely difficult to change the filters, and the one near the bedroom is extremely noisy. You're company keeps offering to make things right, but then repeatedly quotes me over $3000 to repair one small unit that's only 6 years old and is still under warranty? Or is it, I can't believe anything you say. That's why I think your customer service is unprofessional. You smile and nod but then lie and smirk and you never take accountability for your mistakes. It's just a revolving door of phony concern. Your response is the perfect example of that.

Friendly service techs, but had to wait over 2 weeks for a new AC unit to be installed. I guess they get a lot of business. I would not recommend agreeing to wait longer than a couple days for installation.

Wolff Mechanical is a wonderful company! We've been using them for our office HVAC services/repairs for years. They are very professional & responsive. All of their employees are always great workers and very polite. We highly recommend! + Angie is an A+ Coordinator, quick at responding and taking care of your requests!

Customer focused with Great Service. They did my install five years ago. This year when the outdoor temp went up and my house did too, they had my system cooling (including a replacement of my condenser and coil) with in 24 hours of a Sunday night call.
Could ask for better service and follow up. Highly recommended for install, repair or service.

Richard did an excellent job of servicing our air conditioners, taking pictures & videos to show me the current state and provided 3 estimates regarding replacing the unit that has been on its last legs for years. Wolff has serviced our heating/air system for years, has always done an excellent job and I highly recommend them.

Have had issues with this company when it comes to them showing up for appointments. Contacted them on several occasions with no resolution. Paid $225 for the comfort club service, and has been a nightmare. Made an appointment over 2 month back, because they said they had no openings till May 31st. Had the phone records that has the date of the call, and immediately put a reminder on it. When they didn't show, they claimed to have no appointment set. They told me they would contact me which they never did. The service of this company has definitely diminished over the years. Update: Talked to the GM, and was very kind and gave me the customer service that this company had from the beginning. Just wish all of his employee's learned from his example. Wish I could have spoke to him back in March. Thank you Josh for taken care of me.

Richard is always professional, knowledgeable, friendly, and kind. He gives you updates about the status of your system so you can prepare for bigger repairs if needed. The courtesy calls and texts are much appreciated, and I trust that Richard will not try to sell me something I do not need. I value his integrity and ability to fix anything that is wrong with my system. I appreciate Wolff Mechanical having such dependable and honest employees.

Danny came very quickly and got right to work. I had a clog in my drain line and he got up in the attic and repaired it quickly even though brutally hot. Can't thank him and Wolff enough.for their professionalism.

I have used Wolff for many years - they have been terrific: very professional, friendly, and knowledgeable. Their guys always arrive right on schedule for my biannual summer/winter checkups, and they do all their work efficiently - several have gone above and beyond when I needed help with things like changing air conditioner filters or providing advice -- and they follow up quickly with any queries. I cannot say enough good things about them.

We used Wolff Mechanical to install a new AC unit and some additional ducts on our commercial building. Wolff was very responsive and got us on the schedule quickly. They answered all of our questions over the phone and via email. The installation was done at a time to accommodate our schedule and was done very professionally. Here is is 8 year later after this initial review and nothing has changed. Derrick came out for a emergency service for a write up I had on a home inspection and was adamant on not selling me something that wasn't needed or required. You don't see this type of service much anymore where customer service is priority instead of selling you something you don't need.

I have used Wolff Mechanical for over 20 years and wouldn't use anyone else. They installed the original system that lasted over 23 years and never tried to sell me something I didn't need. Most of my neighbors are on their second or third A/C units. That's why I only went to Wolff Mechanical when I was ready to install a new system.

Tim came out gave me different options, no high pressure sales tactics and I can't be more pleased with the results. The install crew were very professional and courteous.

Working for an industrial supply company I've heard horror stories how some companies treat their customers by charging them for something they didn't need.

I have used Wolff Mechanical for many years to install and maintain HVAC on both residential and rental properties. When working over so many years, there are bound to be mechanical issues from time to time, but they always remedy the problems with special care to make sure they leave the customer with what they need. My current experience was a project that was a little different than usual. I was preparing to replace a flat roof that had three a/c units; two which needed various tasks to get them ready for the new roof. One of the units had not been installed by Wolff and needed special attention. Brandon planned the project to make sure we had the most efficient use of crane time, the right materials ready to go and a schedule that would beat the roofers to the job! Brandon and Derrick quickly and efficiently completed the project so the everything was ready for the roofers. I am sold on using Wolff Mechanical for my HVAC needs but this latest project reinforced the reasons why. Thanks Office folks who took my calls about scheduling and to Brandon and Derrick for excellent, professional work.

Wolff Mechanical is a very reliable and responsive company and I’ve been using them for over 20 years. They’ve always come through for me. This time they sent a mechanic named Daniel and I’ve never experienced such an honest, thoughtful and knowledgeable young man. Wolff Mechanical should be very proud of Daniel, he’s a brilliant representative for their company. Daniel came to my home to do a $400 repair on a part that tested faulty on his previous visit. When he returned with the new part, he re-tested the faulty part before proceeding, and realized the batteries in his test meter were weak, and after resolving that issue, he checked the part again only to discover it was in proper working order all along. Unfortunately, I believe there are a lot of companies out there that would’ve went ahead with the install without informing the customer and just billed them the 400.00.
