After coming to an agreement on the original contract with the estimator, the schedule was extended due to weather by three months. At that point we were ready to cancel, but they regrouped and did what it took to get our roof done according to the original agreed upon deadline. They went so far as to have people on the job the Sunday before Christmas when guests were due to arrive the next day. They were super professional, and did a quality job given that access to our roof was extremely difficult. The general manager for the Tucson office was out by himself the day after Christmas to haul away the roll-off and he spent at least 30 minutes picking up trash that would have been missed by anyone. You don't see that level of integrity very often these days. Cost-wise they came in higher than other bids, but we're confident we picked the right company.

If you get a quote from these people, I urge you to get a second opinion. I was suspicious about the $35,000 quote for a roof replacement on my 2800 single story with asphalt shingles, and it seems I was right to be.Every other quote is at least $20,000 LESS than the one I got from Scott Roofing Company. Please be careful, don't get scammed, and look into average costs before blindly getting your roof done.

Easy to book appointment for an estimate-- the estimator was very thorough in explaining my options--and fairly easy to book for the job itself as well. There was a slight delay due to weather--and in the end the project was completed by a crew borrowed from the Phoenix branch--that crew, by the way, deserve a nice bonus for being at my home by 7 on a Saturday morning, getting the work done by 1:30 pm on the same day, and being very cheerful and professional in the process. Only confusion was when it came to scheduling the final (emulsion) coat--I was away from home on the designated day, left two messages which went unanswered as to whether they actually needed someone present at time of work, and had to recontact them to make sure that they actually would go ahead even in my absence. Overall, though, they seem a solid company and I am expecting the roof to be long lasting, so definitely would recommend.

Scott Roofing just finished a new roof on our 22 year old house. We are very blessed to have had Eddie and his crew put a new roof on our house. Eddie took pictures of the damage on the roof, explained what his crew was going to do and when the crew would be here. The guys worked extremely hard and did a fantastic job. Eddie did a fantastic job of supervising the crew, making a final inspection and keeping us informed of the progress. We are extremely satisfied with the crew, and Eddie. We cannot say enough about Eddie's professional, courteous and friendly attitude. Anyone who needs a new roof or repairs on their roof, your money is well spent on Eddie and his crew. We recently had our roof re-done because our existing roof was 25 years old and on its last legs. Scott Roofing was much more thorough than their competition in providing an estimate and explained in full detail everything they planned to do down to the smallest detail, and helpfully addressed all of our concerns and questions. The work was scheduled for ~6 months out due to their full schedule, but luckily we were fine waiting that long.

When the time for the actual work came, a few things caught us by surprise: a dumpster needed to be parked in front of our house for a week which we had to seek short-notice HOA approval for, and there was some unexplained downtime for several days in the middle of the job while they had to special-order some parts (which wasn't communicated to us, leading us to wonder what the status was). During the duration of the job -- including the downtime -- a bunch of debris and building materials were piled very conspicuously in our front yard, but it was all cleaned up thoroughly at the very end.

Overall satisfied with the price, quality of the work, warranty, and friendliness of the staff, but communication throughout could've been a little better.

I was very pleased with the response from Scott Roofing when I checked for companies on HomeAdvisor. An appointment was set and KEPT for an inspection and price quote. Everything was explained clearly, so no surprises. The job was started and finished in the time I was told it would be. The roof looks good. I am confident that any leak issues are now a thing of the past. I would most definitely recommend Scott Roofing to anyone needing tile roofing repairs.

If there were more than five stars you could award, I would do so for the prompt initial response and the thoroughly professional way the company performed in all aspects on replacing our tile roof. Our property with its high curving drive posed logistical problems from the start, requiring ingenuity and forklifts to get the tile to the house and positioned on the roof. In the process, there was no damage to accent lights or trees on both sides of the drive. Clean-up at the end of the working day was thorough. The crew was always quick and helpful in accessing our vehicles as well as being considerate in responding to questions throughout the project. A forecast of heavy rain caused the general manager to increase the workforce, which caused the project to be completed a day earlier than scheduled. Before the crew left they painted all exposed metal flashing and power washed the driveway. Scott Roofing did a top job for us, and I am confident they will for you as well. Highly recommended! Very poor communications. Rarely show up as scheduled. Vehicles are poorly maintained and left oil stains on my property. The next vehicle was leaking fuel so badly that I could smell and see it upon arrival and departure.

This is a very professional company! Each and every phase was performed without a glitch. I have worked in the construction business for forty years and would recommend them to anyone!

Be careful this company has its employees do side jobs and will take your money and do the work. I went to the owner of the company and they knew exactly who the employees were and just laughed. The owner took no responsibility and did not make them finish the job.

Pima Pool Plastering (PPP) re-plastered my in-ground swimming pool in April 2014. The following was my experience.

Prior to the start of the work, I informed PPP to call me the day prior to any work so I can arrange to have someone at the home. This did not happen and had to take some leave from work.
Received call from clerk asking for the final payment without receiving any calls from supervisor or work lead (if any) that the work was completed. Nor a call regarding an inspection of the work completed to insure satisfaction.
Inspected pool myself and found that I was missing three water-jet directional nozzle heads.
Informed the business of the missing nozzle heads and the owner ended up arguing with me that I should have looked at the estimate before they did the work and that the nozzle heads were old and not being sold any longer (which is untrue since finding same nozzle heads online). The OWNER also informed me to stick a screwdriver into the orifice to make any adjustment. I informed him that I should not have to stick a screwdriver into anything to make any adjustments. He continued to be defensive and not once offered to work with me to rectify the situation. The OWNER said that all his customers were very happy and that I should not be complaining (There are no reviews anywhere that show satisfied or unsatisfied customers). He would not stop arguing with me to hear me out so I had no choice but to hang up on him. This is a BUSINESS OWNER that did not care or value a customer's legitimate complaint or made any attempt to rectify the situation. I am giving this business one star because this terrible service came from the owner himself and not from his employees.
I am now paying another company to replace the missing nozzle heads in my pool costing me more than planned. I do not recommend this company since they are not customer friendly and lack quality of work. If you decide to hire this company, insure you have them write up a "very detailed" estimate before hiring them. Failure to do so will haunt you like it did me. Take it from the business owner when he said to me, "You should have taken a look at the estimate".
