I'm a third party reviewer and I have to say I've never been more unhappy with the process. Been told by Scotia it's the pool company that has been making the pool completion process take over 7 months at this point. I only know the company name because I made a note of it the last time there was anyone actually doing work. Which by the way was in mid June it is now July 20th. This process started in Dec or Jan and still is not finished. I'm not sure which company is dragging their feet but I've made complaints to both and both put the blame on the other. I think it's about time someone stand up and admit fault and JUST FINISH before summer is over!!!! ITS BEYOND RIDICULOUS

Pima Pool Plastering renovated my pool. They did such a good job, I love it. It's beautiful!!!

Pima Pool did an outstanding job resurrecting our inground pool that’s been out of service for about 20 years. In addition to the pool itself, they also fixed up and repainted the decking, and re-stucco’d/painted the entire wall surrounding the pool area. Communication was great and they finished the job on time as promised. The gentleman who assessed the situation and provided the quote, Bob Hazen, was especially awesome and always there if we needed him.

Pima pools is about half way done with my pool renovation. They have been a superb company to work with, they call every day with the next days work to be done and what has been done that day. To my surprise they even call if no one is going to be there. I can have piece of mind at work knowing that they are taking care of business at my home. The office personal is awesome so polite. I had question that where hard to answer so the owner came out to my house to meet me a very down to business man he explain everything never acted like he didn't have time for me. Pima Pool & Plaster did a fantastic job correcting and finishing the shoddy work that Imperial Pools started and fell short on. I was so hesitant to hire someone else after getting screwed over, but Kevin (PPP owner) and his crew did a great job installing new pebble tech in our 30-yr old pool. It looks incredible. PPP called me every day to update me on schedule, showed up when they said they would, cleaned the jobsite up, and charged me less than what Imperial wanted to complete the job (long horror-story there). I strongly recommend PPP, they truly care about their customers, and have outstanding work ethic.

Pima performed a COMPLETE remodel of the pool in a home we recently purchased. All work is highly professionally done. First class company to work with.

We have a fairly large 20 year old pool that needed a total renovation. Pima's price came in lower than other companies so I was concerned until I found out that other companies may use Pima's crews and then just mark up the price. Knowing this saved my 10K. Overall the project went smoothly. Kudos to the office staff for very good communications. One crew made two mistakes, but Pima quickly fixed these problems, at their expense with no quibbling. So HIGH INTEGRITY COMPANY which is a huge plus for me, plus the pool looks great.

Pima Pool Plastering did an outstanding job on remodeling by pool. Everyone on the staff was always extremely polite and kept me up to date on daily progress. A big thank you to Lorena, she was awesome in helping and answering all my questions!

If you are looking for a company you can trust to remake your pool from the groud up, Pima Pool Plastering is up to the task. I am a customer and speak from experience. I only leave reviews for companies that do a good (or bad) job. Pima Pool Plastering did an EXCEPTIONAL Job on my pool. My wife and I are so very pleased with the outcome. Pima chipped out the interior pool and hot tub surfaces and replaced it with glass bead pebble tech. They also worked with a sub contractor who replaced the deck with Travertine. Just amazing. I hear stories of other pool companies that are not reliable. Based on my experience, I recommend this company.

Provided professional remodel & pool plaster services. Crew showed up on time. Everyone I interacted with was pleasant & courteous. They called or texted if there were any weather delays. Gave me explicit instructions for pool start up. The pool & deck look great. Very pleased with the service & results

If there were more stars, I'd give them! These people are amazing. I needed to have my 33 year old pool equipment replaced and moved to a different location in a very tight space. I tried three other BIG pool companies in southern Arizona and they all were very slow to respond and all only told me of all the trouble I was going to have doing what I wanted to do. The Pima Pool guy said, "There's nothing that can scare us." He was right. As a retired registered professional engineer in two states and a naval architect, I know a thing or two about pumps, plumbing and electrical controls. I was totally impressed with these people. They are professional, great problem solvers, use only top of the line equipment, practice excellent workmanship, courteous and they show up when they say they will. And their prices are right on the target. I am SO GLAD that the other companies were unresponsive and/or backed out and that I settled on Pima Pool Plastering. I cannot recommend them highly enough. Kudos to Sam, Able, Ernest and Orlando. They are all top level professionals.

We have had an amazing experience with Pima Pools every step of the way. We just completed a pool resurface with Mini Pebble and had out pump and plumbing updated as well. First of all, I am not the easiest person to please... but Pima pool has done such an amazing job, I had to leave this feedback. We had 5 pool estimates before choosing Pima Pools. Not only were the priced the best, they had the best communication, best detailed explanation on the cost estimate... and had excellent upgrading suggestions that were very affordable. The communication through out this process has been fantastic. I received a call every day to let us know what was being done and what time to expect the workers. I would even get a call if no one was coming and an explanation of what was next. They had different crews who specialize in each part of the job. The plumbers where exceptional and painted and labeled all on the flow of plumbing so I could understand how to operate my equipment. The pebble work was beautiful and they did a final walk through to go over every step of the process. They even came back for a second walk through because I wanted more clarification on optimal pool chemistry and details of how to use out new pump. They spent an hour with me going over details and was really appreciated. The final walk through was two days ago and my family couldn’t be happier. They really have a great team at Pima Pools and Aj very please we choose to work with them.

We have used Pima Pool and Plastering about 6 years ago for the remodeling (re plastering and re tiling) of our pool.
We had been very satisfied with the results.
A couple months ago, a thin crack appeared at the bottom, about 3 feet long and we called the company as we were still under warranty.
They responded immediately and took care of the repair within 2 weeks. They also paid for the water since we had to empty the pool.
They've been very trustworthy and we highly recommend this company.

Edit: we finally heard back and we hired them. They replasted our pool with stonescapes, new tile, new deck coat, and all new equipment. We love the updates and it's well worth it. We swim daily and the gas heater is much more efficient than the 30 year old model we had.

I still kept a star off because communication was harder than it should be and we rarely knew what was happening next. They really should have an estimated schedule sent to the homeowners.

Old post: I've heard great things about this company. Unfortunately I can't get anyone to call me back to schedule an estimator to come out. I've called 4 times since mid October. The office will call me back, promise a call from the estimator, and then I hear nothing.

Sometimes you don't know how good a company is until you get stuck with someone else. Pima did our old pool before we sold the house. We got to use it for one season and the work was great. No leaks, no problems, beautiful pool and deck that was smooth on the feet. When we sold the house it passed the pool inspection with flying colors. Sadly, we didn't have the option to pick who to use when we bought our new house and it is unfortunate. It may be under warranty but it is not fun dealing with leaks and asking for repairs, not to mention the water loss and waste before it gets fixed.

The difference with Pima Plastering is the supervisors always checked the work. When there were issues in the remodel, they were caught and fixed before the water was added. When there were a few issues, as there would be with any project, Pima cared and made sure to make it right with us. One part of the project was forgotten and they made it right with us with a discount for doing the project later. They always answered the phone and ensured our concerns were addressed. My first thought was to leave no review when the project was done because all concerns were addressed but now that I am stuck with what I have now, I realize this company deserves that 5 star review. Thanks Pima. We got good value for our house because of you and it's just a shame we weren't able to use you for our current house. Once this warranty runs out in 2 years we'll probably have to contact you as I expect the problems to continue. We also might need some deck repairs or an expansion.

This pool company is terrible with communication, the PMs that were assigned to the project did not discuss anything with us. Employees showed up at random times and usually worked for an hour or 2 and left. This project took incredibly long.
The electrician left wires all over the place by the pumps, when asked if he was going to clean them up, he said this is how it's done.
I've had to call this company back more than a dozen times to fix the pool cleaners, pumps, computer and remove plaster sprayed everywhere.

I 100% recommend a different company. DO NOT USE THEM unless you want a headache.

this company is absolutely awful! not only did they take forever to finish our apartments pool but they have ZERO respect for the people who live there. they came in a 6am and started blasting music the whole time they work. i understand wanting to listen to music while you work but where its loud enough to wake everyone in the complex up and shake the walls of our apartment that’s too loud. i had to physically leave my apartment because my head was pounding from the music. i hope next time your employees take the people who live there into consideration because this was truly the worst experience i’ve ever had.
