This was a pretty big job - all three compressors including a five ton unit, air handlers in two separate attics etc - and the team at PRIDE were absolutely awesome! Chief technician Steve Frederick and sales representative Rebecca Fleming first came out to assess the situation and could not have been more transparent about exact problems and alternatives. I opted for the full monty as two of the a/c units had ceased to function and the third was on its last legs. Two days later a fleet of six PRIDE trucks and seven young men arrived at 9am and left at 10pm, insisting that they could finish the job in a single day! Everyone of these young installers was professional and courteous and obviously enjoyed his work. The units are all installed, top of the line, and working perfectly. I can’t commend PRIDE highly enough and would recommend to anyone with an HVAC issue. I should add that I sought them for a second opinion and they were more than competitive on pricing. All in all a very satisfying experience when you are spending big dollars. I would also advise anyone buying a home in the Tucson area to have PRIDE come out and inspect HVAC units before signing purchase agreeement.A general inspection is superficial at best. I learnt the hard way!

Showed up on time, quickly diagnosed the issue, walked me through what the issue was in terms I could understand, answered all my questions, fixed everything within a reasonable amount of time. Wonderful pricing and the maintenance plan is worth every penny.

Johnny was awesome! Came out couple hours after I called about the furnace not working. Did an amazing job got it running quickly. The price was beyond reasonable, great tech would definitely call them again if needed. 10 out of 10 vary professional, experienced and knowledgeable call these guys, I don't hesitate to recommend them!

Was extremely knowledgeable and he throughly went over what he was doing and what needed to be done ,so that our AC unit could run more efficiently!
He will return to complete recommended upgrades.

Roman from Pride Heating and Cooling did a planned maintenance on my HVAC system and went above and beyond. He noticed a misaligned blower that was letting in dust and reducing efficiency and fixed it on his own initiative. He was knowledgeable, thorough, and pleasant to work with, and he took the time to explain what he found and why it mattered. We were very impressed with your technician Jonny. He was here on time and was very friendly. He repaired our loose thermostat mount and did in depth inspection of our furnace and air conditioner. A true professional.

Trevor came and installed a new mini split for us at Simply Sandwiches in Oracle. Wonderful experience! He was wise in where to place the new unit and relocating our old unit to perfect spots within our restaurant giving us maximum AC benefits just in time for this crazy summer heat! Originally, I gave these guys a 5 star because we’re new to the area — and haven’t had much experience with Heating and Plumbing over the years. In my younger days, I’d replace a water heater myself and/or wire-in a heater if need be. I’m older now — I don’t climb on ladders so I rely on local businesses to handle these types of projects as they come up. After branching out to greener pastures and giving other businesses a chance, I’ve learned some important lessons.

With regard to Pride Heating/Plumbing etc., you have to be OK with a “used-car-sales” approach and subpar quality. (If I only knew back then…what I know now…live and learn I guess).

My “Pride Heating” story = we had some patio heaters installed and it took quite a bit of extra time and patience to get things to an acceptable outcome.

In addition, we recently replaced our Hot Water Tank and Pressure-Regulator-Valve earlier this week. Pride came out for a quote and the bid was $3,600 dollars…but if I “act-now” and make the decision, the quote world drop by a whopping $300 dollars.

So I called Affordable Plumbing to get a quote for the exact same equipment and installation. The whole thing (with tax) came out to be $1,726 dollars. Their work was FLAWLESS and we couldn’t be happier about the savings and the end result.

Feel free to let “Pride” give you a bid — but for the actual contract, I’d shop elsewhere…!

Pictures show what I’m referring to in terms of the quality of workmanship on the heaters they installed — the mechanic new good and well he dropped tools on our freshly coated cement — didn’t say a word which is unacceptable. Furthermore, look at the holes and magic marker markings that I had to point out. Absolutely ridiculous!

Dawson is great! On time, professional, thorough, basically everything you want in a service technician.

I am writing a review on Nichols Air conditioning service. I love this company. The thing I like most about this company is that they are honest. It's hard to find a company that is honest in today's world! The service man was very nice and arrived when he said he would. If you need someone to check out your air conditioner I highly recommend Nichols Air Conditioing service.

We got quotes from another (Alaskan) company, and had to pay for that $130, just for the overpriced estimate. Then we called Nichols. They were speedy to come by and the price they quoted was 1/3 the cost. Very easy to work with, kind, knowledgeable and friendly. 10/10 recommend. Next time we have any HVAC issues Nichols will be our first call!

The repairmen were prompt, courteous and efficient. They also answered all my questions and were great at communicating when things would be done.

Needed to reinstall a softstart device in my heat pump, which had been incorrectly installed by an electrician. Nichols installed our original dual HVAC system in 1993 and maintained it for 25 years. Then they replaced it with a more efficient system and have kept it running like a top.
