Go by the shop. There are no vans outside. The WILDCAT sign on the building isn't there. Building is listed for sale. Dude took off with my service contract money and didn't deliver. Phone is disconnected. They don't respond to email.

I'm giving one star because it's not possible to leave a review without checking at least one. This business turned into a scam of sorts. Owner, Devin S. Johnson, left us and other customers without fulfilling his contract. He owes us $600 in services or refund. No answer to phone, email, or snail mail. I'm filing complaint with ROC (license ROC 257964) and also BBB. Probably won't make a difference but at least it'll alert individuals to never do business with this individual!

We have used Wildcat for 5 or more years including installation of 2 large AC units. We also schedule system checkups twice a year. In response to their email to schedule one, I called but was told it was too early and they'd call back. No call. Since then, I've called 3 times, left message with answering service only at different times during the day but no response. This was a previously reliable company but that is no longer the case since another commenter had the same experience. Be forewarned and don't waste your time!!

It's been about 3 years since B&J Refrigeration installed two brand new ac/heating units and I continue to be so please with the job they did. Changing filters for one of the original units was impossible without having to fold the filter and wedge it into the slot because the unit was positioned several inches to the left of the access space. When the units failed, I asked 4 highly rated companies to give me an estimate and a solution to the problem. B&J was the only company to offer a solution - they really put some creative thought into the issue. And, their estimate was very reasonable. The technicians did a fabulous job and took so much pride in their hard work. Problem solved and it's a job very well done. I couldn't be any happier.

As a new general manager, I found myself struggling to get a technician to my location that knew what they were talking about, that could fix what I needed. I kept getting a different diagnosis and outrageous quotes. But then I found B&J. B & J was recommended to me by the company I purchase parts for my ice cream machine when it needed serviced. In the single hour that Anthony was there to service the ice cream machine, he fixed the machine, walked my assistant manager through getting two of our ice machines working (which were previously declared out of service by a different company and I was in the process of ordering new ones when I didn't need to!), And he EDUCATED us. Since that first visit, I have commissioned B&J on a major walk in cooler job and switched my preventative care maintenance plan to them. Anthony is the best technician I've encountered in my three years of management, and Pierre in the office is extremely helpful. Both of these men will not BS you and they educate you/your team to the best of their abilities. They are a little more pricey, but it is only because they are worth it, they are experienced and know what they're doing.

I am only upset because I didn't find them any sooner. Highly recommend this team of knowledgeable people.

Adam and Anthony were very professional and informative. These gentlemen worked so hard installing new ac in my home on a 107 degree day! The estimator that came out was very nice and answered all questions. To put new ac in my home I knew would be very expensive. I received a couple quotes from larger well known companies and I am very happy I chose B&J . Not only did they have a better price, the service is outstanding. I will refer B&J if I get the chance. Thanks guys!

Great initial meeting with Dean and the quote was provided promptly and the work was scheduled quickly. Phase one went well and finish work is pending interior finishes being completed. A pleasant and professional experience!

Recently we had to replace the AC unit on our rental. The staff did a great job coordinating the scheduled installation. (Thank you Sean and office staff for being flexible, accommodating, and professional) The crew of Armando and Benjamin did a clean installation from arriving on time, crane direction, finishing on time, and left us with a beautiful quiet smooth running unit. Not to mention their price was very competitive. Great job - thank you!

Kevin did an outstanding job! He came on a last minute call; was very professional and efficient. He checked out the entire AC system and determined the new programmable thermostat we had purchased was bad. He re-installed our old one so our AC would work.
He was just here again, to install the replacement thermostat, we purchased. It works beautifully. He explained how to program it and some of the features. We will definitely call B&J Refrigeration again.

I've been a commercial customer of B &J for close to 10 years. They have always done an outstanding job installing, maintaining and servicing our systems at the office.

I enlisted them for scheduled service at my home a few years ago also and they always performed well. Showing up as scheduled and providing informative status of the home systems. This year however the 20 plus year old system had finally reached the end of its usefulness.

Shawn was able to quickly dispatch Tony to come take a look and make some recommendations. Tony provided several options and explained them well. I discussed them further with Shawn, made the decision and they completed the installation very efficiently, on schedule and left no mess.

I recommend the entire team at B&J for all your HVAC needs without any reservations.

I came home last night from a vacation to discover my a.c wasn’t working, and called B&J immediately. It was past business hours, but I pushed “1” for emergency and was transferred to an answering service. Within minutes I got a call from Red, who said he could be at my house in less than an hour. He found and fixed the problem right away: a fried capacitor wire that he replaced.

B&J also installed my HVAC unit and does regular maintenance. They have consistently been reliable, courteous and competent.

In a world full of HVAC advertising about "same day service or it's FREE" (trust me there is no such thing as same day service in the summer, and nothing is ever free), it was so refreshing to have B&J look after my home air conditioning needs. I've had the big companies out before. You know - the ones you hear advertising on the radio relying on comedy, irrelevant scientific trivia, or even threats of huge price increases to get your attention. And when you finally have your appointment, they tell you how bad your A/C unit is and how important it is you spend $20,000 on a new one.

Well Nick from B&J came to my house right on time on the scheduled date. He cleaned the inside and outside A/C components, asked me if it was ok to replace some corroded resistors and a worn contact switch, checked the freon and everything else they do in a very competitively priced maintenance package. After giving it a good test run - told me my unit was in good shape for the summer. This is the original unit installed when the house was built in 2008. Not once did he tell me it was time to replace the whole system. Nick was just as interested in maintaining my current air conditioner as I am. Professional. Skilled. Courteous. A true advocate for the homeowner, NOT another salesperson. And yes, my A/C is running better than ever.

Addendum: 6 months later
Nick and his crew were out for my fall maintenance. They invested an hour testing the system and making minor adjustments to keep it tip top, for no charge. Five stars again!!

B & J installed a new gas pack unit a few months ago at a very fair price. That installation went very well and the whole install process was a very great experience with great people, from proposal submission to install and clean-up. Unfortunately, the unit developed a whooshing sound. B & J immediately sent out people to diagnose and repair the problem, replacing the fan and motor. Lawrence who oversaw the whole process and Tony & Adam who participated in the installation and repair were professional, knowledgeable, and a delight to be with. The whole team at B & J are a pleasure to deal with. If you need any Heating & AC work done, B & J is the company to go to with.

B&J Refrigeration and their staffs cannot be beat! We needed a new HVAC System and got quotes from 4 different Vendors. If you value honesty, frankness and value, then B&J is the firm for you. From Sean and Melissa, to Dean, Tony and Isak and the rest of their friendly staff, B&J will take good care of you. Tony and Isak are a terrific Installation Team. Punctual, Polite and extremely Knowledgeable, these guys are the Best. Overall, we are extremely pleased and happy with our new HVAC from B&J. What a stress-free experience. WE LOVE IT!

We are new to Tucson and had our first experience with B&J a week ago. I was pleased that we were able to get an appointment the same day that I called and we were called when the tech, Randy, was going to be arriving closer to the end of the appointment window, which was nice. Randy was thorough and explained what he was doing with each of our three furnaces during the inspections. He also inventoried our air conditioners and we signed up for a preventative maintenance agreement, which was reasonably priced. Overall we are very pleased and happy with the service!

I've had really good experience with B&J. I like the seasonal maintenance contract and the guarantees that come with that. You will not always get the same service tech but I think that's the way the industry goes. After gaining confidence with them to include the owners, we trusted B&J with a major install of a mini-split system that worked out great. We also had a B&J do a pre-sale home inspection on another property that uncovered some issues before closing. The main home inspector was impressed with their attention to detail. Very satisfied with B&J and would recommend!

I'm so pleased to have found B&J Refrigeration! We discovered them years ago when we were having ac issues and the other companies we contacted kept trying to sell us expensive new units. When we asked B&J what they thought, their technician spent time cleaning off years of accumulated dust and pet hair from the inside of our unit, charged a very reasonable price, and the unit ran beautifully for several more years. When we purchased a new unit, we naturally went with B&J, and when it recently stopped working, they were our go to call. We were scheduled quickly, and our technician, Mario, was extremely personable and knowledgeable. He walked me through everything he did to diagnose the problem (which was a small issue with a latch cover, probably caused during one of our filter changes). He encouraged and answered my questions, and I feel I understand much more about my unit than I did before his visit. He stayed long enough to make sure the unit and compressor were working correctly, instead of learning as soon as it kicked in. He monitored the temperatures and the amps the compressor was drawing for a good half hour before he was satisfied that the problem was resolved. I'm so grateful to Mario and B&J Refrigeration for their quick, friendly, knowledgeable, and reasonably priced services! We're customers for life - thank you!

B & J Refrigeration provided us with great service for our installation of 2 new HVAC units. Tony (technician) and Shawn were both outstanding and went above and beyond to ensure everything was correct and working as it should. They were prompt, clean, and did a great job. Highly recommend!

Had my elderly neighbor come over for a minute and said that it was extremely hot in their house. I went over and it was 98 degrees 🔥no matter how much we fiddled around with the settings. Had to get the husband a cold towel around his neck to try and help prevent heat exhaustion. Called in the late afternoon, a couple of 24 hour service companies but the wouldn't be able to be out until the next day, which for my elderly neighbors, could have been detrimental.
Finally got ahold of B & J Refrigeration and the woman who answer was very nice and helpful. She said that she couldn't get anyone until later because the service technician was on another call (later finding out he was pretty far out and in Sells). We were quoted between 7 and 9 pm that "Nick" would be arriving. When Nick arrived looked at the air conditioning unit, probably within 10-15 minutes he found the trouble, fixed it, and the house started cooling off. Nick was preparing the bill and I went over to thank him for making the trip from Sells to my neighbors home and fixing the air conditioning unit for them. He was very nice as well. I know that's his job, but myself and my neighbors couldn't be more appreciative. Thank you Nick! 👏👏👏

This is a BIG investment, and Lawrence was so thorough and helpful answering all our questions and providing the best new units for our needs. The installers (Tony and Adam) were professional, clean, quick, courteous and so helpful. This company was recommended to us, and we will most definitely recommend them to others!

As an update, we had our first inspection following our new AC install. The technician (Soop) was fantastic! Professional, funny and went above and beyond in addressing my concerns. Two family members have now purchased new AC units from this Company, I continue to recommend!
