I had four estimates to replace my ac unit and Family Air was the best price. The whole process from estimate, installation and customer services was top notch. I want to say first that Family Air serviced our AC unit for 5 years and provided great service. That is why when we moved into a condo that needed a new AC unit we thought of them first. The customer service was a very disappointing experience. We were told the time for a new AC unit to be installed would be in 1 week, the unit was finally installed 10 days after the original appointment. We understand things happen so we were not to upset about this. The installation guys were great, working on a holiday to get the job done. However, there was a large hole left above the unit in the hallway it's been 2 months and it is still not fixed. The office staff has not communicated effectively with the owner or field staff to help resolve this. I will not use this company again.

When you live in AZ, having a good HVAC company to count on is invaluable. Today I found one! Our technician (Kris) came out and did a fairly straight-forward repair for us. It turned out to be a bad capacitor (which I hadn't suspected since another well known HVAC company installed a new capacitor for us under a year ago, but these things happen I suppose). The repair wasn't necessarily what set them apart for me (although no issues with the repair either). It was the service from Kris. Kris was extremely kind while I unintentionally watched over his shoulder and asked him questions (I didn't mean to watch over his shoulder, but we just got talking). He had great service, and most importantly was extremely honest. I would highly recommend Family Air and specifically Kris! Thank you!

I've been extremely happy with Family Air and have a maintenance contract with them. I switched from a different company that was always a hard sell. It made me uncomfortable. No such hard sell from Family Air. Always friendly, punctual, knowledgeable and proficient. Our tech Kevin was a pleasure to deal with. Would recommend Family Air without hesitation.

Very responsive, thorough and professional. Our old air conditioner broke just as temperatures were forecast to hit 100. Kurt was at our house the very next day and had seven different estimates for us to choose from. He helped us make a choice, and before the temperatures began to climb, our new air conditioner and furnace were installed. The two men who installed it were professional, focused, quick and friendly. They answered all our questions and left our garage and outside area completely clean. Family Air was recommended to me, as I was taking down a Swamp Cooler and wanted to put in a New AC unit. Jonathan, was very professional at the 1st inspection and the quotes I received were reasonable with 2 different options. I called him 2 different times before making my decision with questions and he was prompt in returning calls. On installation day, the guys that did the work were professional and friendly and explained that they would be installing the new furnace and AC unit, and also answered any questions I had. They completed the install in 7 hrs and explained the Wireless Thermostat to me. They further advised me to call with any questions or concerns. I called last minute needing an inspection for the purpose of buying a home. They were able to send Tim at the time and day needed. We literally had one day and a 3 hour window. Tim was great! He explained the system to me. Went over everything real time.
I will be using these kind and hard working folks for annual maintenance. No crazy 5 year agreements just the 2 visits per year like I was used to at home.
I asked Tim how long he had worked for Family Air and he said they hired him when they started up the company. He was injured at the time. 13 years later he is still with the company. This speaks volumes.

Great company! I got an HVAC system installed with no problems, after being told by another company that this would be impossible. Not only was this done, but it has been 2 years and I just had the annual inspection done. Things are going well, no problems. I am so happy to have a cool house! The technicians and workers who did the initial install completed install of new furnace, AC unit as well as fine-tuning everything and cleanup in one day! Highly recommend Family Air!

Update: Now nine years since I had this HVAC system and I get a yearly inspection, with ongoing good and solid results. I have had only a minor issue once which was quickly, inexpensively and easily repaired. This was a great purchase and Family Air is a solid company with excellent staff, and a very short response time when service needs to be scheduled. Thank you.

I chose this company for their reviews and they have been wonderful. I have used Family Air three times since moving into my home in 2019. Two times my AC stopped working and they were out promptly. The third time was for general maintenance for my HVAC. I have a home warranty but prefer to use Family Air for any heating and cooling needs. I feel their pricing is fair, they work weekends and respond to emails. I have been very pleased.

We just had a new Air Conditioning and Heating unit installed and we couldn't be happier. The staff in the office, the owner, and the installers were fabulous. We got just the right unit for our home and price range and it was installed quickly, which was great with the increasingly hot weather upon us. I highly recommend Family Air. We have been using Family Air for over 10 years in multiple properties we own and they have never let us down. They provide professional trustworthy service every time. Their maintenance follow up is excellent too.

I don't generally post reviews but have had such positive experiences with the hvac techs at Family Air that I just had to post a review. I own a home inspection business and use Family Air for my personal home. Their techs are always honest and their company always charges a fair price. Gerardo came to my home yesterday for the $89 tune up. He was at my home for almost two hours and showed me that the capacitor on my blower motor was needing replacement. He went through every component of my system and even left me with some complimentary passes to attend a local event. I can't say enough about their customer service from scheduling call to maintenance techs and would highly recommend their services for anyone looking to get great service at a more than fair price.

I, just had an evaporative cooler stalled by Family Air. Arrived in time . Employees arrive got to work with all needed supplies and cooler was up, connection made, water lines replaced has needed very professional.
They all walked on my brand new roof quietly no big foot stoppers, banging etc. Cooler works great keeping us very comfortable
I highly recommend this company for all cooler needs.

Family Air, is really a fresh of breath air. Their customer service is out of this world. Not just saying this because everything went smoothly, which it did. After our unit ac/heat pump was installed we ended up having a leak. They came out immediately to address it, but eventually found out it was a mistake they made. Which they took full responsibility for and resolve the issue in a timely manner. As someone who works in customer service, if I could, I would give them 10 stars. Thank you Family Air for caring For the customers, you serve. If you’re looking to purchase a new unit, these are the guys to go with great pricing an outstanding customer service.

2years ago we had another well advertised HVAC company out for an emergency call (105degrees, no HVAC) when that technician showed up, he and my husband up on the roof, he pointed out a valve was not operating properly, said he would call and get an estimate, while on the phone getting the estimate he discussed the part with his boss, suddenly he recommended a whole new unit, pulling brochures out of his tool box, said it would run about $12,000, when my husband asked if just the valve could be replaced since initially the tech said the unit was in good shape, he said well I could replace it but we can’t guarantee it will work and it will cost $1600, so we told him we would give them a call. The next day a coworker of my husband suggested we call Family Air, their tech came out, pointed out the same valve, called to see if it were available, explained to my husband why it was sticking, he got the valve unstuck, and said that may or may not work, but it would get us through the rest of the hot season, and recommended it be replaced in the cooler months, gave us an estimate of $1138, in early the next spring we called and had Family Air come back out to replace it, and it was exactly $1138, they are on time and fair priced, and show you what they are doing.
Forward 2 years to now, our system finally needed replacing, we called Family Air, they came out, measured everything, and explained our options.
Their prices are fair, they do not try to over sell to you.
Our new unit was installed last week, as before they were on time, efficient, and do a great job. I can honestly say, they are a great company!! Thanks Family Air!!!

Air Conditioner decided to stop working late on Saturday afternoon. I called Family Air and there was a service tech at my house the following morning. Everything was fixed and working great, and the cost was lower than I expected for a Sunday call! Great service.

We shopped around with four local companies that received 4-5 star reviews on google and other sites. Family Air wasn’t the lowest price but offered more in the way of options, service and workmanship. We were really pleased that we picked Family Air as they suggested a brand of AC/Heater Blower we had not considered and at first had our doubts but after doing some homework, we determined that this brand was a great price and a even better fit for the Tucson climate, as it was designed with the Southwest in mind and made all the top ten list’s. The installation and installers were great and very courteous….did the work quickly and cleaned up as if they were never here. I would recommend that you put Family Air on your list for bids if you need a replacement. I’m so impressed that I’m having them out to do other work in the future.

I hired Family Air three years ago for a furnace replacement. This company did and amazing job - we were 100% satisfied with Family Air's products and service. I recently decided to upgrade from swamp cooling to air conditioning and returned to Family Air based off my previous positive experience. I'm pleased to say my current experience was every bit as great if not better than 3 years ago. From the first meeting with the estimator the process was smooth and this team was fantastic to work with. Omar and Omar Jr handled the install of the new equipment and were knowledgeable and professional. Highly reccommended!

First of all, Ruben is my hero. House is cooling instantly. I appreciate the options for repair they provided. The other quotes we got were just to replace the entire system. Family Air provided a super competitive quote for replacement, but also gave a quote for repair with realistic expectations. We have used Family Air exclusively for the 20 years we have lived in Tucson for two different houses. They screwed up a heater repair once causing damage to some flooring, but they fixed everything and made it right with no questions asked. The owner supervised the repair work. The only reason I hesitate to rate them a five is that over the years the customer service has slipped. It is almost impossible to get someone to answer the phone or return calls. Email isn’t a lot better. If they can reinvigorate the customer service this would be a perfect company.

Ordered a routine service, they forgot to come do it. We also forgot 6 months later my husband called and reminded them. They did the service pretty quickly. Found we needed a hard start and some duct work done. Came out to do the hard start. Came back a few more times for the duct work as it seemed to be a more difficult task they finished all the work. This is the finished product.

Family Air installed a new heating & air conditioning system in my home in October 2024. Their price was very competitive and the service was excellent. Very pleasant installation crew that you can be comfortable with in your home. No mess left behind for me to clean up.
