We were left without AC tonight. Our regular repair tech couldn’t make it until tomorrow so we called One Hour Heating and Cooling tonight. Our tech, Ozzy showed up within a hour and had our AC back up and running quickly. Ozzy was fast, friendly, and explained everything thoroughly. We were very happy with our service from your company and Ozzy’s customer service was top notch!!

Fantastic service for full installation; they previously serviced my aged original system (installed 1995) so I knew it was going. After shopping around, I got the best equipment and absolutely the best installation. Update 12/29/23: They came out and replaced a defective valve; NO CHARGE!

I initially felt great about calling Superior 1 Hour Air Conditioning. They had a technician at my house within an hour of my call. impressive response time. I expected to pay a little more for that kind of speed, but I wasn’t prepared for how much more.

Right away, the email confirmation felt off. It read more like a dating profile, listing the technician’s hobbies, likes, and dislikes, quirky, but unnecessary. It made me wonder if I was paying a premium for flashy marketing instead of actual service.

The technician said my condenser was “blown” and gave me a repair estimate over $6,000. Conveniently, he also said my manufacturer’s warranty had just expired. He pushed for a full unit replacement and initially showed only the monthly financing, not the total cost, which turned out to be nearly $14,000. When I asked for time to think it over, he pushed back, saying, “Can you just give me an answer now, that way we can get you running as soon as possible.” That kind of pressure is a huge red flag.

Here’s the kicker: I got a second opinion. Another HVAC company came out and confirmed that my unit was still under warranty for two more years, and had everything up and running for just $500, with no new parts needed.

Superior 1 Hour gets two stars because they were fast and communicated well around scheduling. But the misleading information about my warranty, the inflated pricing, and high-pressure sales tactics were enough to ensure I won’t be calling them again.

Our service technician Jim, came to do a diagnostic at 8pm Labor Day Monday evening. Our unit was over 16 and owed us no favors so rather than replacing motor and facing the inevitable next big repair on an old unit, we replaced w/ new high efficiency system. It is Wednesday afternoon, less than 48 hours from the breakdown and our new unit is up and running. On Tuesday they brought two portable ac units to help us get through to the end of the install so that really helped as well. Professional polite and friendly team members, Alexander, Kenzie and Armani (hope I spelled correctly). They were courteous and tidy and most importantly to us, were reliable about being extra mindful of our dogs around doors and gates (we have a runner). I’m usually not happy w/ having anyone I don’t know in my personal space but I never felt uncomfortable and that is saying alot. I’m very happy with how well everything is working and how it looks after they’ve finished. Reasonable pricing, cash discounts and financing available for those who may want it, plus a great warranty. I'm not sure if there is a difference for warranties on different installs so I’m not able to give an educated comparison but I’m very happy with what we’ve got and it’s better than their competitors that we checked. We have a whole new system for a 2200sqft home w/ user friendly smart thermostat that can be adjusted remotely and it took less than 48 hours to get it done. I would absolutely recommend using this company for service, repairs and/or new equipment. Thanks again to Jim, Alexander, Kenzie and Armani.

Armani came out and took a look at our very old heater and figured out the problem and ordered the parts necessary to get our heater back working . Was glad they were able to get me scheduled really quick and once parts are here and work is done I’ll follow up with a supplemental review.

One Hour Air Conditioning and Heating were great! They are true to their name. I made an appt online at 11 pm after coming home from a trip and realizing my AC was out. They called me promptly at 7:30 am arrived at 8 am then drove quite a ways to get the right condenser motor and had it completely fixed and running by noon. Their service technician, Ozzy, was very knowledgeable, patient and had a nice demeanor. Really helps when you’re stressed over the fix and the cost. I also had them install a Nest thermostat so when I’m away again I can ensure my HVAC is running by checking my phone. What a relief to have had it fixed so quickly after spending a night in a house that hit 100 degrees. Can’t say enough about their promptness and service!

Our AC quit working while our dog was recovering from surgery. Armani quickly resolved the problem and thoroughly checked out and cleaned our system. He was very personable and professional, showing us pictures he took and explaining the work he was doing. We highly recommend One Hour Heating & Air Conditioning!

I cannot praise the installation team enough! Paul & Armani were extremely knowledgeable, professional, and friendly. Their work was very high level. They were quick but very thorough. On a 5 star scale I would give them 10 stars!
