Awesome people! They are all so friendly, The guy who came out I unfortunately did not catch his name was professional but so funny! He was also honest and was not pressuring me for an answer today. Extremely happy to have found City Heating and Cooling! We had scheduled a maintenance appointment with them but our AC went out two days before. I called to see if they had any same day availability. They were booked solid, but they let me know that they would work us in - and they did! The technician was professional and knowledgeable. He had us up and running in less than 30 minutes! He gave us an overview of what happened and how he fixed it. Highly recommend City Heating and Cooling!

Let me tell you folks, they did not disappoint me. Absolutely outstanding professional service and communication delivered by Technician Jacob Scott who replaced my AC capacitor and performed a thorough inspection and cleaning of my HVAC. This business also recognizes our military veterans and first responders with a generous 10% discount. So satisfied that I also signed-on for a 2 visit maintenance plan in the Spring and Fall. I highly recommend this professionally established business for any future heating and cooling requirement. Definitely give them a try, any day, any time. You’ll be glad you called!

Our AC system stopped working yesterday. We called City Heating and Cooling today at 4 pm, and they were able to send someone out by 6pm for no extra charge. They were able to find the problem and fix it the same day. The charge for service was way cheaper than we expected. I would highly recommend this company and we would definitely use them again in the future.

Our AC was leaking the day we were preparing for my mom's birthday party. I called 3 AC companies and thank God I reached Tanya and she was on it. About 30 minutes after I called she called me to say Chris was on the way and he arrived 20 minutes later. He was honest and quick to identify the problem. We we're back to normal in no time. I'm a Realtor, I'll be using them again and recommend to my clients.

The folks at City Heating and Cooling were friendly, professional and courteous throughout the process. They arrived on time, assessed my problem and fixed my a/c unit in a professional and timely manner. Very excellent experience! Had no AC when I called and they were at my house within 30mins of my call to come look at my unit. Provided mini coolers to get me through until my new AC install. We ended up having to get a new AC and city heating and cooling was so incredibly helpful and honest. They were such a wonderful company to work with. They were on time, friendly, and communicated the process to us the entire way through. They gave us discounts where they could and made everything so easy. They got me scheduled quickly, were on time for the appt, did the evaluation and called in the repair in a timely manner. Sean was my technician and he was professional, but personable too. He didn't even mind having my dogs around him and worked efficiently. I would definitely recommend City Heating and Cooling to anyone looking for HVAC repairs or needing a replacement!

Sean and Jacob were tasked to replace my heat pump system. Normally a straight forward job. But because of the age of my old unit and size of new ones the encountered some obstacles they hadn't counted.
But they figured out solutions and inspire of the heat and struggles they got my new system up and running.

Our HVAC pump was running constantly for about six days. Called and got an appointment same day! Chris was our technician, he was fantastic. Was able to identify and fix the problem within 30 minutes! He even showed us how to maintain and prevent future issues. Extremely grateful! Also reasonable service prices!

It is rare when you have an exceptional service experience from a company.

My air conditioning unit was serviced by a large well-known heating and cooling company here in Tucson the end of March 2025. The system was deemed ready for summer. Unfortunately, to my chagrin, Friday night (May 9, 2025) I turned on the air-conditioning for the first time only to discover it did not work.

On Saturday morning, I contacted the company that serviced my air conditioner the end of March. They did not have any availability on Saturday, but could give me an appointment the following week.

I searched for heating and air conditioning companies that provide service over the weekend. I stumbled upon City Heating and Cooling. Much to my surprise, they were able to come out and assess my air-conditioning unit within a matter of hours. What they discovered was the previous technician from that large well-known heating and cooling company here in Tucson had either incompetently or intentionally placed a cap over the service port which drained out all the refrigerant.

They were able to have my air conditioning up and running within two hours. The price was very reasonable and the technician very knowledgeable. I am grateful and impressed with the rapid response and solution I was given on a Saturday morning. Thank you to everyone involved at City Heating and Cooling!

I cannot put into words the gratitude I have for Chris and Tanya and the service I received from City. My AC stopped working and competitor found it to be faulty circuit board, requiring 10 days to get part shipped in and costing 2k or a full replacement for 18.5k. City offered to give a free 2nd opinion and within a couple minutes found a loose wire that needed to be plugged back in to get it going again. They refused to take payment for making the fix. They literally saved my summer! THANK YOU

Cannot recommend highly enough! My air conditioning went out in the middle of July and after a truly horrific experience with another company I hesitantly called city heating and cooling at 9 PM on a Friday. The owner, Tonya immediately answered, and first thing the next morning there was a technician, Jacob, at my door. He solved the issue and within a couple hours I had ice cold AC again. He was incredibly professional and efficient. While losing AC in the middle of summer definitely wasn’t ideal, working with this company made the experience much better.

Great responsiveness, superb work, wonderful communication, all at a fair price. Replaced two water heaters and removed a substandard solar system.

These guys were probably the best people I have ever met. They were extremely patient and knowledgeable. Since my dad passed its been hard to get anything done due to high strain, but from the get go with Jacob making sure he quoted 100% correctly, to Chris with his immense knowledge and never give up attitude. Shawn was insanely empathetic and Tanya was extremely helpful with every step. I will probably go exclusively through these guys for the remainder of my life and recommend everyone else to them without so much as batting an eyelash. Thank you guys for your insanely dedicated hard work!

Our AC system completely failed 4 days ago, City Heating and Cooling was called out by our home warranty company and we were given the bad news that we would need a new condenser unit. Instead of waiting for our home warranty to piece meal the 13 year old unit back to life we decided to go with an entirely new Goodman 4 ton split system. Tonya was extremely helpful with the entire process and walked us through every single question or concern we had. The service technicians Ray and Chris were great to work with and explained every part that had failed with our old unit and what it would take to replace the parts. After the realization it could take up to 2 weeks for the home warranty to approve the claim and just give us the bare minimum to keep the old unit running we approved install of the entirely new system. Their crew started on the installation early this am and were completely done by 12 pm the same day. My wife and I are impressed with this crew and company, and would highly recommend City Heating and Cooling for anybody who needs hvac work.

We were initially put on a standby/cancellation list after a late night service request call. Chris showed up within hours (before 7 am) and fixed our AC issues/unit in less than an hour. He was very friendly, knowledgeable and professional. I highly recommend this company and I will use them again if/when needed.

Very nice guy! He was 20 minutes earlier than the projected time. He did a wonderful job and replaced my thermostat while adding a common line to make it work better. He installed the nest unit for me. He was very professional and I would highly recommend him to anyone for furnace or air conditioner work that they needed!
