Marathon uses what I call the “A” students. This team is top notch, their professionalism is outstanding and their work reflects that.

Josh came out and was honest, professional, and on time. He was able to fix my heater and let me know what the issue was. He made sure to explain everything he did and what the issue was. His 12 years of experience showed and we will definitely be using Marathon again for all our needs.

I was very lucky when I found Troy Roads, owner of Marathon Heating and Cooling!! Troy's diagnosis visit was reasonably priced and he came after hours due to my work schedule, for no extra charge. It turned out I just had some wires that came detached when I moved items that were next to my furnace. Troy inspected the whole system anyways, and reset the wires permanently. Next, I hired him to fix a condensate drain that I already knew was causing water pooling on my roof. He installed a new drain within a few days. When I blew a fuse about 2 months later, he came the next day to fix it. Just two weeks ago, I hired him to recommend and install a brand new unit on my second home, which needed a whole new base to be built on the roof.
He is super knowledgeable because he has worked in the industry for large companies for about 20 years. You definitely will be glad to hire Troy because you get the experience and knowledge of a long time professional technician, without having to pay the overhead costs that large companies add on. I have Troy’s number saved in my phone and I will be his loyal customer for as long as I have homes in Tucson. He impressed me a lot on his first visit because he can explain everything about my machine and the reasons why he makes his recommendations. I have always called him since, and always will. I expect to hire him again in March to install mini splits in the unventilated downstairs of my newly purchased (built in 1985) town house.

I was completely mislead and confused by my home warranty company. Brian, at Marathon, answered all of my questions and helped me understand everything the warranty company wouldn’t. They showed up when promised to install my new unit. Kyle was professional, polite and friendly. I highly recommend Marathon Heating and cooling.

When my HVAC didn’t seem to be cooling well during the Arizona summer, I used my old republic home warranty and they sent Troy from Marathon. Troy got the AC working much more efficiently. He was on time, very knowledgeable and professional, and answered all of my questions. Marathon is fortunate to have him as an employee.

Marathon has really hung in there with me in trying to get approval from my home warranty company to fix my air conditioner. They have followed up on finding product and have kept me in the loop the whole time. They came today and put in the new unit. They cleaned up behind themselves and were just delightful. Troy came and inspected the HVAC and Hot Water systems on a house we recently purchased and provided a proposal to replace the systems at various price points. We agreed to a date for the replacement.
Troy and his team arrived as promised at 8:00AM and worked diligently all day until all tasks were completed and thoroughly tested. After cleanup the only way you would know they were here was the house was warm and the water was hot.
Troy and his team communicate well, work efficiently, are a pleasure to have in your home. Marathon is a great company. I strongly recommend that you use their services.

Our AC went out mid-July and we used our Home Protection Company to get it fixed. We were unfortunately set up with a horrible AC service company that lead us on a 2.5 month long delay in getting our AC fixed. We had to threaten legal action in order to get the HP Company to switch us to a different AC company. They switched us to the awesome guys at Marathon Heating and Cooling! These guys are the real deal! They called to set our appointment within a day of getting the order and they submitted the report to our HP Company immediately after they came out to look at our AC. The parts were ordered and once they came in, we were called by Brian to set up an appointment with Josh to fix our AC. We love the communication with this company. Once Josh was here working on the AC, he found that a previous AC repair person had left out a part that was needed to help our AC run better. He called Brian who tracked down that part here in Tucson. Brian went to pick up the part and bring it to us so Josh could finish the job. They didn't delay finishing the job for another day. Marathon has shown a level of care and integrity that I have not seen from an HVAC company before. I never once felt pressured or talked down to or taken advantage of during any of my interactions with them. They listened to my concerns about my health with our AC going out and made us a priority and did everything then could, as fast as they could while working with our home warranty company.

Our repair was rather complicated and they explained everything to me on what was going on to where I was able to understand and no questions where left unanswered. The repair ended up taking them almost 12 hours of their time and there was no complaints and they were professional the whole time.

I’m a retired OIF/OEF Army Vet with too many reasons to not need a headache. These folks treated me as though I mattered. They made our family their family and their top priority. Their owner Troy is a cut above the rest and I would put my everything on that. He is a man of action, completion and versatility. He continued a wonderful conversation with me while he repaired work that was overlooked and poorly completed by a far inferior competitor. I have solely used this business since they started. Troy is a true gem and his associates have always taken care of me. This HVAC business is the only one I’ll use from now on. They are literally the only honest people I’ve come across in this industry.
