I couldn’t be more impressed with Benjamin Franklin Plumbing. From start to finish, the entire process was smooth, professional, and well-organized. The estimate was clear, scheduling was easy, communication was consistent, and the finished work was excellent. This company clearly takes pride in what they do, and it shows.

Once the work started, the technicians really sealed the deal for me. Every one of them was courteous, knowledgeable, and respectful of my home. Matt Thrift stood out in particular — his customer service was top-tier. At one point, I asked if he did side work, and without hesitation, he said no — he’s committed to the company. That kind of integrity says a lot about the people they hire and the culture they’ve built.

The only negative part of the experience wasn’t with Benjamin Franklin Plumbing, but with the financing company they use. I received a call asking if the company charged me extra for financing — which felt inappropriate and unprofessional. It raised unnecessary doubt and made me question their intentions. I really hope the owners see this and consider that kind of behavior from their financing partner can hurt customer trust.

Still, the service from Benjamin Franklin Plumbing was truly exceptional. I’m a very happy customer and wouldn’t hesitate to recommend them to anyone.

I paid almost $300 for replacing flapper and float. I am having same problem as before I paid $300. In addition, since I assumed plumber knew what he was doing, Toilet ran for 4 days while I was out of town. Review score 0 out of 5. Review score 0 out of 10. Would not recommend anyone use this plumber unless you want to waste $300.

I always feel confident when I need to reach out to Ben Franklin for plumbing purposes, but I get even more excited when they send out Justin.. .

EDIT: I had to replace a Rheem tankless hot water heater in Aug of 2024. I was recommended the Rinnai brand that the installer said was very reliable, so I went with that one. Fast forward 8 months after the installation, similar issues arised from the Rinnai that was billed as "TOP TIER". The $4265.57 install of the Rinnai turned out to be a waste. Make matters worse, my roof began to leak from the exhaust pipe where they performed the install. I had to pay an additional almost $1,000 to have that repaired.

August of 2025 i had to have a 2nd Rheem hot water heater replaced with the "Navien" brand that i was again assured is the cream of the crop. It cost me an additional $4000, but so far it has been working very well. The issue, similar last year's install of the Rinnai, my roof is leaking AGAIN. Justin came out and looked at it, and assured me that the leak doesnt stim from his installation of my hot water heater. So now, im on the hook again for another $1,000 to have the leak repaired.. My experience started off smoothly with Ben Franklin, but now that has gone to S H I T!!! I will no longer use this company again!! USE AT YOUR OWN RISK!!!!
