This company does a great job from start to finish. David was straight forward and honest. The team lead Luis was excellent along with his crew Jason, Mike, and Jonathan. These guys did an incredible upgrade to our home and completed the construction project early. Can’t say enough about the great experience we had with Veteran Air. We will be recommending them in the future.

We are very pleased with the 3 technicians who installed our HVAC system. They were very professional, courteous and stuck with the job until it was completed, despite the extremely hot weather. Edwin even helped me link my phone to the smart thermostat and made sure I understood how it works. I highly recommend Veteran Air. You won't be disappointed.

Jonathan came out and took a look at my 21 year old system. In less than 5 minutes he had spotted what the issue was and explained it to me. I have an electrical engineering degree and there was absolutely no BS or up sale in his answers just "this is what's wrong, this is what I can do, and here is my recommendation."

We've been in the "run it till it dies" mode for a while and we're at that point. Jonathan while he was here took a look at our existing system (AC, Furnace, and Ducting) explained that the upgrades in our new system are possible with the Ducting we have as it still meets today's standards and has the ability to work as a multi-zone system.

You can tell when a person and a company are there for their customers and that they enjoy solving puzzles (aka repairs) vs a company that solely exists to bill as much as possible.

I'm absolutely using Veteran Air for my AC replacement, which Jonathan also told me he would pass on his notes on the existing system to the project manager so they could come in to look at our system with info rather than just coming in blind. That kind of communication and teamwork within a company was the last thing I needed to see to ensure they got my business. It just takes a minute to send a coworker a note "hey this is what's coming down the pipe" but it makes all the difference. If that's the culture at Veteran Air then they have their head in the right place.

Today’s tune-up guy was fantastic!

The guy who sold me the system last year - David Gonzales was quite impatient and CARELESS & UNCONCERNED, tho!!

I had mold from a month-old water leak (where the burner is situated), but he wanted to rush the job and not give me time to treat the mold, which would have been very dangerous!

It’s not good to rush the job and take safety shortcuts!

Even in the sale, it wasn’t right to ask me not to speak to my neighbour who had installed his veteran system 6 months ago, saying he was offering me a 30% off-season discount over my neighbour, which was incorrect!!! It’s not good to lie when making a sale. Honesty will get you more business in the long run - always does!!!!

Have used Veteran Air for years. They've always been honest, courteous & fast. When my mother was was extremely ill, they expedited a visit for her comfort. It made all the difference in the world while she was fighting her battle. I'd absolutely recommend them to any member of my family as well as friends. Wonderful company. Wonderful people.

Excellent service -- professional, cordial, dedicated, efficient. Jose, your work ethic is unmatched. Thank you for your work. AND Veteran Air installed an excellent new HVAC system -- much quieter than my previous system, and cools the house very quickly. Do I typically enjoy spending $18K ... no. But personnel, workmanship, product ... outstanding.

If I could give this company a 10 I would! They serviced our old house and were always professional. When we bought our new house we had them come and look at our system and found it to be severely lacking - the venting was not working properly in downstairs unit, the ducting in the attic was splayed open and there needed to be a water pan upstairs.

After my husband got 4 quotes, we choose Veteran Air. Veteran Air gave us a fair price. More amazing was the team of guys who came out to install our system. Highly professional, courteous of our property. I happened to be upstairs working and could overhear their conversations - all very respectful and family oriented.

It took them 2 full days because there was a leak in the freon line. They reran the line and looks professional. Two of them came back, at our convenience, to do some cosmetic work. We would have never known the difference, but they did. They say they treat your house like their own and it is true.

I never leave reviews, but I feel this is the most responsible thing to do here. Let me first say that the folks at this business are very kind, well-meaning people. But just about everything that could go wrong on this job, did. I'm going to just list the 5 main things, but believe me, there were numerous!

-I was advised to place the unit in my driveway area, even though it was discovered it was so big that my car could no longer fit going up it. It was then moved to my backyard and the paint to cover up the mess made did not match my house.
-A pipe had to be installed on the roof in order to reach an inaccessible room. It was HUGE, sticking up 5 feet from the roof and terribly unsightly. Even the company supervisor who saw it said it was awful looking. It had to be redone twice in order to keep it at a decent profile.
-When the system was "done" and turned on, I had a huge allergic reaction. I rarely have a reaction to dust, but this was a huge reaction and I knew something was wrong. When they took another look, turns out it wasn't sealed correctly and it was pumping in dust from the attic. I wonder what would've happened if I didn't have that reaction? How long would it have gone on?
-When the job was finally done, when the inspector came it did not pass inspection. It again had to be redone.
-Months later, I had a gas man come to do an inspection on the house as I was having some problems with my gas. Turns out, they had never capped the gas flow in my floor furnace as they had told me they had.

The list goes on and on and on and on. This is just a sample!
This all happened a year ago. The good news is that it is working! And I have not had any problems with the system since it all got settled.
The other good news is that they were very accommodating when I complained and gave me 10 years of free service, hence the three stars.
Like I said, I never leave reviews, particularly bad ones, but I thought it was the responsible thing to I do.

We enjoyed the entire process and would HIGHLY recommend Veteran Air. From project manager to the entire installation crew, everyone was courteous and mindful about keeping the our house clean. Super efficient replacement of our 5 ton HVAC system, all new ducting, and added zones. 2 days, 9am-5pm each, friendly staff who kept us in the loop throughout their time. Project Manager David responds we immediately to my messages. Professionally coordinated staff.

Mike from Veteran Air came out to our home and did an amazing job. His honesty and integrity about what was truly going on with our system has made me a loyal Veteran Air customer. A precious company tried to replace our entire system and charge us $10k for a system that is only 9 years old and for what appeared to be a minor fix. Truly, thank you Mike and Veteran Air

I had a new air conditioning system installed today. David was really great, answering all of my questions and concerns. He arranged for Louis and Diego to do the job today! It’s 7:00pm and they left a few minutes ago, having done a great job, explaining everything about the system, and cleaning up really well. It was a very costly investment, but I feel good that Veteran Air is the company that I chose.

A young technician named Steve came to my residence and my son’s home next door on June 6 for the maintenance on the A/C systems. He was absolutely wonderful. He was extremely thorough and professional and made sure all of my questions and any concerns were addressed. If he was unsure of something he offered to call his supervisor for the answer or solution.
I told him I would be calling VA and requesting him for the fall maintenances on both furnaces.
I can say without hesitation that Steve provided me with the best service I have received from any VA technician to date.

Friendly but also very professional. Wore shoe covers so as to not track dirt into the house. Concerned about our safety with a 50+ yr old HVAC we knew we needed to replace. They brought our utility closet up to code, and it's beautiful! They worked all day and into the evening so we'd have heat for the chilly night. We are so pleased with the quality and dedication they showed in their work. I would highly recommend them!!

Great group of people that stand behind their customers. The promise of service after install is only good if backed up. They back up their products and promises when things go well and when things need a fix.
Our install crew was courteous, communicated with us throughout the install and took care to clean when finished.
The company was awesome and responded right away when we needed a tweak to our system.
We have already recommended them to neighbors and will continue to do so.

Veteran Air provided us with a dual zone Daikin mini split at a fair competitive price. Out of the six quotes that came to our house David from veteran Air came across very professional. He listened asked the right questions did not try to sell something else. He took appropriate time in measurements and taking photos. We sat down, went through the proposed contract, satisfying both of us. I told him we would be making our decision by the end of the week as we still had a couple more quotes to follow through on. Ended up with two other quotes the same but decided his representation was the most reassuring.
I have to commend Luis and Diego for their thorough and dedicated work ethic. The installation looks beautiful clean and they took the time to make sure everything was completed. Including a thorough quality and diagnostic check. So far, everything is running perfect and we are so happy!

Carlos was amazing, he came to do our yearly fall maintenance in Yorba Linda and took the time to explain the entire process, what to look out for in the future and did an excellent job. Love how honest and reliable Veteran air is!

This company is remarkably responsive and responsible. The communication to setup an appointment was flawless and the technician showed up right on time. He was incredibly polite and knowledgeable, wore booties in the house to avoid soiling the floor. He worked quickly and efficiently and left as soon as he was done. No lingering chitchat. It was a formidable experience. I highly recommend this company.
