We've had to have come out three years in a row, this time was going to be an expensive fix that was likely to not last long so he quoted us a good price for a new unit. They came out very quickly and had the old unit off and new one up and running in a few hours. Excellent prices, amazing service I wouldn't recommend anyone else!!

My home warranty company referred me to Austin Heating & Air; every person I spoke with on the phone and in person was extremely patient and polite. They came on time and on the days they said they would. All repairs were done professionally and with good care. Great company and great people!

My clients had been dealing with a terrible vendor that was assigned to them from their Home Warranty company. As their realtor, I stepped in to help facilitate the process of getting their heater fixed as it went out during the ridiculous freezing cold weather in November. After our dealings with the previous vendor we're finally done, Austin's came in like a super hero and got stuff done! They restored not only heat, but hope for my clients that their soon-expected baby would be born in a house with heat. The whole process took about a month and a half which was a welcome change to the 2.5 months we had battled with the other company. Austin's - you have my thanks and my recommendation and I have personally written the home warranty company requesting you to be the first point of contact for clients in the area that was serviced. Thank you again for restoring heat and hope for my clients!

My experience with Austin Heating and Air was like, if you went to the dentist because your left molar hurt, and the dentist said, it looks like you have a cavity on the right side I'm going to go ahead and do a filling there. Once done you say, but my left molar is still in so much pain, and he says... I'll charge you for it now, then come back in 3 weeks and we'll check it out. You come back in three weeks and you say, man... I feel like this left molar is getting worse and he says, let me check it out... and then proceeds to pull a tooth on your right side. You say, hey! What about this left molar, it's causing me pain! He says, yes we'll I assessed the situation and that tooth needed to be pulled. You go round and round about 8 times and his office stops taking your calls and finally tells you that you have to go to a different dentist.

All I can say is Austin Heating and Air is reliable and honest!!!! We had a previous estimate and decided to call our home warranty due to the extreme price given...they sent out Autin Heating and Air and are we ever glad they did!!!!
We won't be using anyone else for our heating and air needs from now on!!!!! Give them a call!!!! They make you their priority!!!!

This company was assigned to my residence through my home warranty. The initial call that was made to make the appointment I informed the receptionist that my wife would have to leave work to get home to meet the tech. During that phone call it was never mentioned that the tech would only wait 10 minutes for her to show up. As soon as my wife pulled in the driveway, the tech drove away and digitally completed the job saying that the work was complete. The tech didn’t even look at my unit. They claimed that the tech waited longer than 10 minutes and that they will not wait for the home owner to get there. As soon as I found out that tech left I tried calling the company, only on the 6th phone call did someone pick up, Crystal. Not only did she answer the phone irritated but she immediately gave me attitude. Crystal should not be working in customer service. She told me “you can contact your home warranty and get another company on the job because we don’t have to do this for you”. This company is unprofessional. Highly do not recommend. Fire Crystal.

Made a warranty claim for my duct work . It was ripped apart and we had no adequate airflow . Austin came , made a quick fix with duct tape and said it need to be replaced and is outdated. They will submit the recommendation and estimate. Come a couple weeks later , I find the claim was closed as being repaired. How is tape considered in a repair on ductwork that need to be replaced and is outdated? I called my home warranty and they sent Austin out again . Guy again said he will submit the recommendation to be replaced as it is ripped up and outdated. Guess what happened! Yup, closed again as repaired and no recommendations were submitted. I called Austin and they say there is no evidence that the duct work need to be replaced and that the technician is their senior technician. Well my complaint is not his knowledge or his skill but his integrity and his word. He said both times our ductwork needs to be replaced and it is outdated. Then why aren’t they communicating this to my home warranty? Austin refuses to do what they say they will do . And if that is their senior technician, then we are in trouble people! Austin’s response is “ do you have a recording of him saying this “ what a joke !! Is that what it takes to honor what the technician is telling the customer? Shady , unethical, unprofessional, irresponsible and quite frankly,incompetent! Do not use this company for your heating and air repairs people! The only reason I gave a second star was because the technician was polite and did say upon his second arrival that if we need a second opinion we should be able to get one free of charge from our warranty company if they did not resolve the problem. He obviously knew what was to come for us .

I was very pleased with the service I received today from Austin Heating & Air. I placed the call through my home warranty company, they called and set me up the next day! Fantastic in the heat of summer! I received text notices telling me when they would arrive. Two young men came on time, changed out my fan motor and were gone in 30 minutes. Really great!

I can not recommend this company enough. We had a bad experience with a plumber through home warranty company so we were on guard when the warranty company sent Austin H & A for AC repair. But they were very professional and helpful. And based on some of the circumstances, we felt they were refreshingly honest. Then, in August (worst time of year for this), we finally decided to bite the bullet and replace the AC that we had been band-aiding for years. They gave us a fantastic quote. After checking prices elsewhere, we called Austin to go ahead with the order. So glad we did. Everyone we came in contact with was professional and helpful. We could not be happier with their service.

Came out last week for a tune up I know the guy washed out the evaporator, he took my water hose on the roof. Noticed some water leaking from the roof yesterday got up on the roof and opened up the unit myself and found all this. If you’re going to wash out the evaporator, where is all the dirt going? Oh wait I think I know!

The gentleman that came out, if I remember was Alex. He was outstanding. He knew I was older and my husband was out of town. He took the time to not just correct the problem but talk with me and explain what had happened. I would recommend this company at any point and time. They were timely and the WONDERFUL thing is I only had a two hour window not 6 or 8. Thank you for sending out a special young man who too time with me.

Austin Heating & Air were called out by my home warranty company in January when my heater stopped working. They replaced a control board on the system in the attic, and the heater started working again. However, fast forward to April when it started getting warm, we noticed that the AC wasn't coming on (it was blowing, but not cold air). My boyfriend got in the attic to check on the system, and noticed that one wire was completely disconnected from the control board and the lid hadn't been placed back on it. Therefore, there was no signal being sent to the AC to start up.

I called Austin Heating & Air and asked them to send someone back out since their tech did not leave the system in the proper condition and didn't finish the job properly. Over the course of a week, I called numerous times to talk to a supervisor about it, but no one ever returned my calls. They told me I needed to call my home warranty company again ($75 for each claim), but I felt strongly that I did not need to pay the $75 again because of Austin Heating & Air's error.

My boyfriend googled information about the panel and guesstimated on where the wire should go based on what he found online, but was still not certain how it should be wired. I called back and explained the situation again, asking please at the very least for a tech to return my call and answer over the phone if he connected it to the right spot. Again, no one returned my calls. We are almost 1 month out from my constant calling and refusal of the company to help.

Austin Heating & Air has horrible follow up, customer service and does shoddy, incomplete work. I definitely would not recommend this business to anyone.

Austin's has been out a few times through our home warranty agency. They have been punctual, professional, and very helpful. Eduardo has been out each time and is very informative. We are new homeowners and he is nicely enough to explain things that are happening and any repairs/maintenance necessary. We have spoke to Heather over the phone each time and she is always courteous and forthcoming with information. We have enjoyed having them out to help us with our first home.

Austin heating and air is a very good company. They replace my home air conditioning and heating unit in a very timely manner. All they’re technicians that have came out from start to finish were all great employees. Steven find out the issues and Jimmy installed the new unit. I would definitely recommend this company for any heating and air issues.

If they are coming under the house warranty company call, they are a nightmare to work with. They won't talk to you in detail about what is happening and they will ignore your calls.
They are the reason I am canceling my home warranty company because I can find a competent AC and heating company who will do the service right away and cheaper.

Terrible!!! Very unprofessional!! Went 36 days in blistering hot summer waiting for technician after technician to come whenever was good for them!!! Missed numerous days of work $ 700.00 in motel stays . Other nights at my sons!!! American Home shields claims if it can’t be repaired they will replace it!! Austin heating and Air still managed to charge me 1,800.00 Heartless RIP OFFS!! Do not use them!!

Our AC unit went out and Austin’s Heating and Air came to fix it. They did a great job, there wasn’t anyone standing around. Very professional and friendly. The girls in the office did a wonderful job calling me and explaining everything they would be doing and when. The text messages worked letting me know when each repairman was headed my way. I highly recommend them!

If I could leave 10 stars I would, today Austin came out and took great care of us, he showed on time, we were very anxious as we have an older unit, Austin gave us great care in tending to the concern. Within 15 minutes he had our unit running nice and cold again. Thank you so much for your service . I highly recommend!!!
