American Dream Services installed a new unit for my home about 5 years ago. A routine issue arose recently, so i called, and they were out the next morning to fix the issue, no fuss. They also keep great records, they immediately knew for which address I was calling, and I was able to send them a video of the issue so that they could be prepared and everyone could save time.

Made a call let in the day they were still able to get a technician to come out around 730pm he did prompt work sadly we had a issue where the ac keep tripping the breaker off and he said nothing was showing why it tripped he did fix a wiring issue we had with the thermostat and offered a free cleaning to our unit with hopes it would help. Also let us know if it did trip again within 30 day we’d be covered to have them come back out overall great service and great customer care

Relentless Bakersfield Heatwave. Overnight lows 86° inside my house. 93° in my dwelling since Friday afternoon August 8th 2025. Even swamped, they got out here and were able to get the situation resolved within a matter of a couple of hours. The last 36 hours living with a swamp cooler in Bakersfield just doesn't cut it . I wouldn't call anybody else for your HVAC needs. Diagnosed and remedied and repaired and replaced defective electronic part within a matter of an hour. They get it right the first time.

I had an air con failure Saturday evening. Wasn't moving any air. I got hold of the folks at American Dream Services, and they jumped on it, even on a holiday weekend. Came out and diagnosed the issue. Needed a new blower motor. They managed to track down replacement unit on Labor Day in 102° temperatures. My thanks to Louie the technician, RJ and the whole team involved in dealing with issue so fast and efficiently! It is very much appreciated!

Thank you for the speedy response. I contacted you on a Friday @ 2:30pm. You responded and had a Technician here by 4pm. My A/C battery was running below capacity. He cleaned the unit and changed the battery explaining the entire process as he did it. I was desperate My house heater was out. I I use this business at my old residence. They were great back then, and they’re even better now. Not only did I get my heater fixed in a timely fashion. I also asked questions which were answered back to me in a way. I understood which will help me in a long run to notice what’s going on before this system goes down. Also, how to prevent it. It was not only a relief getting everything fixed, but I learned a lot too. They answered questions. Can you believe it? I thought it was wonderful. The guy was very very nice. He had patient, but he also had a brain that could fix my problem and now while I’m sitting in my house, nice and warm and cozy. I think about how great they were, and how if you have trouble and you need help, just think about the American Dream and your dreams will be answered.

Exceptionally fast, friendly, and very reasonable price. Dealing with the intense Bakersfield heat was unbearable, but they came to the rescue promptly! I was actually shocked they could fit me in so quickly. The technicians were knowledgeable and approachable, quickly resolving the problem. Highly recommend!

Awesome service! They showed up early and got to the job. They were very informative and honest about the job and fixes for it. They gave me my options on the repairs and left me to make my decision. Was never even pressured to go a certain route on the repair. Can feel the big improvement on the repairs done and I would strongly recommend them to anyone that needs any HVAC work.

The pricing I felt was over the top $500.00 for a $40.00 fan motor and a 30 min. Install.
I recommend Rudy's specially if money doesn't matter.

Rudy installed our A/C system about 8 years ago and did a great job at a fair price. He's always been very available (his Cell # is on his card) and quick to respond. Yesterday we had a complicated issue with our A/C (at 4:30 it quit) and he dropped by on his was home and figured it all out and fixed it by 7! Great service!

Honestly, just exceptional service from start to finish.

When an AC unit goes out in Bakersfield in the middle of summer, it is beyond an emergency. And when that unit needs to be fully replaced, time is definitely of the essence as every minute spent melting in house that is hotter than the face of the sun is actual misery.

Here are some things I loved about Rudy's:

1: I could communicate with him via Yelp! Rudy answered super quickly and was great to work with.
2: Yelp verified his license, so I didn't need to track that down!
3: We got several bids to replace the unit and Rudy's was cheaper than everybody else's. . . for a much higher quality unit than the others were proposing.
4: Rudy knew how terrible it is to not have AC at this time of year, so he got the job down extremely fast (literally the next day, once we agreed to his bid!).

I can't say enough good things about Rudy's AC. Highly, HIGHLY suggest.

I'm conflicted on what to score. First of all they have great prompt customer service. They are always there when I need them. They come out quick and communicate well. They make it easy for me to pay since I don't live at the location. My only concern is that I have purchased 2 HVAC systems within the last 3 years and within 2 years both of them have had issues that cost me almost $1k to fix each. The other units worked fine for years with no problems. I continue to go to them because they put them in. They will say parts are covered but not their labor which I kind of get. I just don't think new units should have so many problems so soon. On average if they come out it cost me $600-$700. I like them but it just doesn't sit right that this keeps happening. So 2.5 stars for my new systems. 4 stars for their customer service. 4 stars for ease of making payments. Hope that helps!
