DO NOT CALL!!!!!! I used before and it was great, I have parts and labor warranty but they didn't instal so they didn't honor the labor. Perfectly okay with that, it was a $90+ fee, parts were covered. Then I had another issue, I could see exactly what the issue was, so I called. This time it took them 4 days to come out, I was stuck for a week with no AC this summer and they took advantage. They would not tell me how much it would cost until they were finally going to replace the part a week after I called. Instead of the $90+ fee, they charged one $90 fee for coming out to look, another $90 fee to order the part, another $90 fee to go pick up the part, another $90 fee to bring the part to my house and a final $90 fee to install the part... My family needed the AC so I paid it, but PLEASE CALL SOMEONE ELSE... They knew my family was suffering for not having AC for a week in the summer so they took advantage, "We have the part and can come out right now and your AC will be up and running in 30 minutes, but it will be $$$$$...."

I've used Benchmark Air Conditioning in Bakersfield for a number of years and have always had a positive experience with them. They are always prompt with their scheduled times and provide honest feedback for any issues. The Benchmark employees are all very experienced and knowledgeable technicians, and have wonderful personalities as well! The Benchmark team really knows their stuff and easily demonstrates their ability to quickly identify and successfully resolve issues. Benchmark recently did a new A/C installation at my residence, with Darrell and Ken as the lead technicians. Good communication, a solid work ethic with high quality work was evident throughout the whole process. I would highly recommend Benchmark Air Conditioning for any work that may be needed. They are simply outstanding!

These guys came 30 minutes outside of Bakersfield on a Friday, came back to finish on a Saturday in the heat, and dominated the job. Put a new AC unit in, Ryan and his team were very polite, worked diligently, cleaned up after themselves and got us up and running in as fast as I could imagine possible considering the circumstances of the job. Highly recommend these guys, great effort, great communication, great positive attitudes. Easy 5 stars!

Really appreciate these guys! They are very professional and extremely patient. Aaron helped me get my thermostat working again a while back and was so incredibly patient and kind. Ryan was just out along with a crew of guys to replace my ac unit and they did a great job and I am so grateful they were able to get it done before the 112 degree weather next week.

Aaron Mario and Ronnie provided excellent customer service; friendly, professional, and courteous. Benchmark scheduled me in a timely manner, repairs were also done in a timely manner and at a reasonable fair price. Highly recommend! Thank you Benchmark!

I always receive the best customer service from the owner and all of the technicians. They are honest and reliable and always very affordable. I cannot say enough good things about this company! I recommend them to everyone I can!

Had ac 911 issue that started yesterday, called Rj and he sent out his tech Louie. I explained over the phone to rj what was going on. He had an idea of what was wrong, Louie got here and within just a few mins he had the issue found. Within about an hr Louie was done with the job. He then gave me a run down on how to best use the ac durning the hot days. Louie is knowledgeable of his trade. Gave me a sense of security knowing some of the new info I learned. If you need ac sevices, don't hesitate or waste time calling other places.

My ac was acting up around on 7/3/24 and RJ was the only company that was willing to come out on the 4th for a reasonable fee. The next morning, he sent Mr Philip Morris and his son to check out my unit and it turns out nothing was wrong with unit, it was a bad breaker. They did not charge me despite coming out on the 4th. I had a family member swap out the faulty switch and now we're cool in this horrible heat wave. It's awesome to know that there's still many independent and HONEST people out there. Thank you America Dream services, I'll definitely be calling y'all again for future HVAC maintenance.

Amazing service!! These guys came out right away to diagnose my AC/Heat issue. Louie was a super cool guy!

Con artist... Stay away from these guys, their technicians are not properly trained and they will break or disconnect your equipment to say you need to buy new parts. My unit was running fine, just needed some refrigerant and the guy went up there then all of a sudden my unit wouldn't cool at all. They tried to say my unit was leaking when it was never leaking before they got there. They even disconnected the condenser which was working fine and tried to tell me I needed a new one. I called another more reputable company to come out and assess it, they just connected it back together told me things were fine and I just needed a new drain pan. I went to the address they advertise on google to talk to the owner in person and they don't even have a shop or building, the owner is literally running his business out of his garage with a small crew of uncertified guys. They even try to tell you that you'll get a 2 year warranty on parts and labor but really it's just a scam to keep you going back to them so they can keep telling you another part is broken which they of course lie about. Stay away from this scam company, pay for a reputable company and save yourself the trouble.

With 4th of July a few days away and during a major heat wave, our air conditioner decided to stop working. I called on a Saturday around 7pm and was so shocked they answered. They were able to fit us into their schedule only two days later and BEFORE 4th of July which I was thrilled about. Zachary Camp was our technician and he showed up early during our scheduled time frame. He was super thorough and knowledgeable, and explained everything to us. He had the part we needed on hand and fixed the issue very quickly without it costing and arm and a leg. Zachary was extremely polite and professional and even made sure to check a vent my 5 year old decided she wanted checked 😂. I highly recommend this company for anyone needing repairs. Always communicate, good service, doesn't try to sale you something that you don't need, good honest company. Some AC companies take advantage of people due to age or gender this company doesn't do that they are fair to all regardless. Thanks for being honest and taking csre of all 3 of my units!

My air conditioning went out very late last night. I called several business including Banner Air and a few others. RJ, from American Dream Services was the ONLY one to take my call. He was very courteous and assured me someone would be out the very next morning before 9. Ricky showed up, and within 30 min, found the issue (which includes climbing in the attic) and had it resolved. Both of these men had excellent customer service, knowledgeable and friendly. This company provided a service on Sunday at a very competitive and fair fee. They’ve earned a new customer for sure. Thank you

I am extremely pleased with the work done. I found this service on Google maps and I really love to support small businesses and help them grow by using their services. Pricing was fair and competitive. This was a definite win and I will continue to use them instead of the previous company. Communication was fast and efficient, scheduling was easy, confirmation text were immediate, and the work done was very professional. Well done.

I like that they answer their phone after hours. Even though they didn't make an after-hours service call, I appreciated that I could at least talk to someone and find out timing and pricing for the next available appointment. They were very responsive and kept me updated with texts. Fixed the problem quickly. Would give five stars, but the technician was 45 minutes late beyond the 2-hour arrival window they gave me. Even still, I will use them again and would recommend them.
