Elior, Raz and team are prompt, reliable and professional. They started the project right on time as promised and did a great job seeing the project through to completion! As with any complex remodeling project there were surprises like - replacing subflooring in a hallway, installing an additional pipeline for gas, additional electrical work etc. They handled all these as true professionals. Casa Utopia Builders did a fantastic job from the planing all the way to the building of my second story 800 sqft addition to my house.
Elior and his team are very professional, reliable, they provided solutions to each obstacles through the entire project.

This is a review of Casio Utopia Building Company’s performance on our recently completed remodeling project of our upstairs guest bathroom.

To begin our contractor search, we selected four companies from a list of relevant companies and information from angi.com. We met with each company’s proposal representative to provide them bathroom information and our remodeling requirements for our desired dream bathroom. In turn, each provided us with a proposal including project plan with options, and estimates on schedule and cost. This information allowed us to evaluate and down-select our project contractor. Our choice was Casio Utopia.

Their project plan was very professional and detailed, and especially important, met our budget requirement. The assigned Project Manager of the four-person team was Robert, who also was the representative during the proposal phase. He had the skills of a good project manager: leadership, knowledge, relevant experience, and good a communicator, both with his team and with us. He successfully managed the team and every phase and aspect of our remodeling project from start to finish, resulting in our dream bathroom

The first phase was the Design Phase, and was performed and completed before any construction could begin. Nicole was the team’s designer. She create 3-D renderings during the entire design process that allowed us to make modification to achieve our dream bathroom. In addition, she developed the complete materials list for the project. One part of the plan that was a great relief for us, she personally joined us in selecting the new materials at various suppliers. Her experience with suppliers, design knowledge for our new bathroom, and ability to answer all our questions, made our materials decision and acquisition process much, much easier than we expected. This completed the Design Phase.

The second phase was the Construction Phase. It was performed by the Construction team, Christian and Santiago. They were masters at their trade, working on all aspects of the construction including the demolition, carpentry, electrical, plumbing, tiling, and painting. Observing their skills and work ethic were a pleasure to experience.

The project team with skill and teamwork met all eight required project plan milestones, on schedule and budget, and included successfully passing three San Jose City inspections.

Our bottomline assessment of the Casio Utopia team’s performance on our bathroom remodeling project is they made our dreamed bathroom a reality.

We reached out to Casa Utopia for a full bathroom remodel for our condo. Raz visited us and provided us with very reasonable quotes, very understanding with our requests, and very friendly. We also requested extra work such as new flooring tiles in the kitchen and replacement of our kitchen countertop and they accepted the additional requests without any issues and not much additional costs. Raz became our project manager and he was very helpful and easy to communicate with. The project went very smoothly without any issues or extra costs from the original quote. Raz updated us on every step and progress that has been made with pictures. Rinat worked with us with the design of our project(s) and she was very helpful, she assisted us with our shopping for the materials and also had great suggestions on right combinations, colors, paint, etc that will properly blend. The design was followed on the spot by the team and the project(s) were completed smoothly, on time, and of great quality. We even took vacation for a few weeks while the project was ongoing and the team took good care of our condo safely and cleaned it when the project completed. We are very satisfied with their work and we are glad to have chosen them to work on our project(s).

I came to know Casa Utopia through the online search. After I put in my request, the office manager immediately set up an appointment. Elior came and we discussed our new room extension & outdoor deck project. We talked about what we want in our remodel project, and Elior gave us his opinion and feasibility in term of the work and budget. We decided to go with him after we interviewed 5 contractors. Elior is great to work with and transparent about the steps involved in the process. We went through the architecture design with his architect team, the permit submission & approval, and the actual remodel work. In the beginning when the project was started, there is a Whatsup group chat set up for any communication between us and his team. He is always very quick in responding the messages, even on the weekends too! He guided us through the process, and we actually had a change in the architecture design after it was approved. He and his architect team quickly made the change and re-submitted to the city. It is quite effortless for us even for such a change in the plan. We also worked with the design team for the bathroom in the new room. We did the design in the BayStone showroom, but I am freely to shop around in any stores or online for my fixtures and finishes. That is cool too. Overall, we are very happy with our remodel project. I highly recommend Casa Utopia!

The true measure of a contractor is how they handle the inevitable problems that come up with a big project. Casa Utopia passed this test with flying colors. During our project they always strived to get the work done with high quality and make sure that we were satisfied with the work. Raz and Elior communicate well and they never went missing during the project.

We did an exterior remodel project with a driveway and Casa Utopia was able to get the project done on time and with high quality. Our home looks so much better thanks to their work. They have the people and tools to get any job done at a fair price and we're glad we went with them. I would recommend using Casa Utopia as a contractor for large projects and we certainly will if we have another project come up.

It is now two weeks out from Casa Utopia completing our home remodel project. We are absolutely delighted with the work and outcome.
The scope of our project went from simple hardwood floor replacement and painting of three rooms, to a complete bathroom remodel which included the relocation of water supply and drains.
Raz was our Project Manager. He maintained open lines of communication, explained every step, and kept the project moving. Previously, our other bathroom remodel took 10 weeks (different contractor). Raz had this bathroom project finished within 4 weeks (with an additional week for the flooring replacement of the other rooms). We never felt this was a side project for them. The team was at our house every morning at 8am, and put in solid hours to get our project completed.
As for quality, things I notice, all the grout lines are straight (wall and floor), the hardwood flooring was cut evenly (no jagged edging), texturing of the walls matches the walls that were not modified. We have consistency throughout.
We need to also mention and thank Nicole, who was our designer. She was very patient every time we changed our mind on a design element. Her quick turn-around on the CAD drawings helped my wife visualize the final project. This gave us the confidence that we were not going to regret any aspect of the final product.
If we had to do this over, we would choose Casa Utopia again. We have already recommended them to several friends.
