We were referred to Paul Huerta and his Apex Power and Light for some complicated electrical work to be done on our older home. Two other electricians had ghosted us but Paul showed up when he said he would, looked the job over carefully and made a fair bid to finish the job. He and his assistant worked efficiently and without any drama to complete the job in a timely and professional way. Aside from his total professionalism I was most struck by his honesty, genuineness and his concern for his clients. Paul is a first rate person and a first rates electrician. Apex Power & Light did a fantastic job installing a photo-cell to control LED stairwell lights at my church. Paul Huerta, the owner, was easy to reach and calls or texts you back immediately. I was able to book him right away to do the work. The price was more that reasonable and of high quality. On top of that, he is polite, courteous, punctual, and listens to what you need. I needed a reworking of my circuit breakers in a manner that would sync with an automatic generator, but I wanted it done without damage to the walls. Paul and his company came up with a design that works and fits my uses perfectly. All done at a reasonable price for the service provided. Highly recommended.

Paul did a great job of configuring & adding outlets for us! He explained everything really well, and went over options, so that we were able to get everything arranged exactly the way we wanted it. He even told us where to dig a trench ahead of time, so that we could save some money if we wanted to. Additionally he checked on old knob and tube wiring underneath my house that had been a concern, and made sure that it was entirely disconnected and safe. He communicates really well, and is very professional. Highly recommended!!!

This is the first time I write review for a company, and I have to. Paul is a very professional and experienced electrician, and a very nice person. He fixed the problem that had been bothered us for a long time. We hired some other electrician to fix it before but did not get the problem solved. Paul did an amazing job. Besides that, he also diagnosed several other hidden problems and fixed them all. He is very honest and professional. I highly recommended Apex Power and Paul if you want solid and trustable electric work!

I called Paul at Apex very late in the day trying to find an electrician who could come out to our building to determine what was causing fluctuating power across several apartments. Paul listened to my explanation of the symptoms and then said he thought the cause would be a compromised neutral line on the PG&E connection from the curb to the building, and that we would need PG&E to come out to find the break and repair the line. Paul also told me that should PG&E not find the cause or indicate that it was past their connection and the building owner’s to resolve, to call him back no matter what time that might be and he would come out. Later that evening a PG&E technician identified a break in the neutral line near the utility pole at the street that had been chewed through. Paul had quickly pointed us in the right direction and our problem was undoubtedly resolved much faster thanks to Paul’s expertise and clear explanation to me of what to suggest to PG&E.

Paul was very friendly knowledgeable, efficient and professional. He was responsible for the electrical involved with changing a gas stove to an induction and installing an exhaust fan in the attic. I thought I would have to replace a sub panel for the stove top breaker, yet Paul was able to condense breakers in my existing electrical panel to create room for a 50 amp 3 phase breaker. His design solutions allowed me to do exactly what I wanted and not go over budget. In addition, although the temperature was 95 degrees outside, he persevered, efficiently completing the work in a high quality, timely manner. I highly recommend Paul/Apex to anyone needing electrical work done.

4/7/21 - Paul came back again to upgrade out internet wiring. Again he was very professional, worked efficiently, and did good quality work in a timely manner. He is very easy to work with as he is very responsive and reliable. He is like a breath of fresh air! We highly recommend him!

Happy to join the many folks happy with Apex work. Paul is very easy to work with and flexible and did an outstanding job on our electrical work. He discovered some poor wiring in the walls that was a fire hazard and rewired it to code. Highly recommended.

Paul's visit was excellent! He was friendly and engaging from the first moment we spoke, carried himself and his work with a sense of professionalism, and was never distracted from the task at hand. Our issue was an emergency on the weekend, and Paul was there much faster than other contractors that I had reached out to. Paul helped me with a bathroom fan installation. He was on time, professional and did quality work. I have also had an issue with an outlet on a Saturday morning. He helped me troubleshoot the issue over the phone. Highly recommend for any project whether it is large or small.

We are very happy with Alpha Omega Electric! Right from first contact, everything went smoothly and the team was very communicative. Paul and Leandro showed up on time and they got everything done in 4 hours. Several new outlets throughout the house (inside and outside), changed breakers, and installed new kitchen and garage lights. They were patient with our questions, very knowledgeable, efficient, and friendly. We were impressed to see a young adult like Leandro as a skilled electrician. We thought he was much older beacuse of his mature demeanor and knowledge. He's got a great mentor in Paul as well. We highly recommend AOE! I needed an outside outlet installed. The communication on planning and doing the work by my initial contact Ryan was excellent and the installation by Zach was done well with thorough cleanup after the job.

Paul is amazing! He happened to be in Monterey when I needed an electrician to disconnect my appliances before the Home Depot installers, who were already at my place, would install the new oven and microwave. He was able to get there within forty-five minutes of my call to disconnect the appliances and set up a temporary plug so that the installers could verify the microwave worked.

Paul is extremely knowledgeable about electricity and knows current codes needed for compliance. He works efficiently, left the area he worked very clean, and is very reasonable with his charges.

Paul came back after doing another scheduled job in the area to finish installing the new electrical outlet I needed. He was, and is, a true blessing for me!
