We had a heat pump installed 2years ago and all of a sudden it stopped working. It blew out a safty valve and didnt have any refrigerant. They ordered the new part and came back a couple days later with the new part, refilled the system and it works great now. Adam stayed late to get the job done for my senior mother in law on a cold night. There was no charge it still under warranty. I can't thank this compay enough. They honor the work they do and the equipment they install. I wouldn't go to any one else.

Friends and Family HVAC team is great to work with. Excellent results and look forward to a lot lower electric bill. Very polite and tolerant of this senior. Fixed air leaks in attic. Replaced AC & Furnace. Office contact person very knowledgeable too. I’m glad I called them.

Abraham was very professional and helpful in diagnosing the issue. I was able to solve the issue on my own, but with his expertise the problem was solved with complete confidence. I joined the club because friends and family has exceptional people like Abraham working for them!

Sean the technician and Domenick the supervisor from FRIENDS & FAMILY HVAC SERVICES did thorough testing of theHvac system and found no problems as the system is new. There are other issues that were discussed that needed attention. One important concern was the ductwork to accommodate the new HVAC system. Domenick recommended upgrading the ductwork to ensure the new system is working perfectly Sean was courteous and conscientious with his work. Domenick was able to obtain a service contract directly from the owner to replace the ductwork necessary and did everything to ensure all necessary discounts were applied. From the original quote of $12,000.00+ he was able to reduced it to 5,916.00. Both Domenick and Sean were so pleasant and conscientious to us at all times.

Abram was truly amazing!! Don't recall last time I received exceptional service from anywhere (restaurants, stores, construction services). He was knowledgeable and went above and beyond in explaining things and providing recommendations. Thank you!

What a great experience. Sean was incredibly thorough and helpful in giving us detailed information about our heater issues. He gave us several options for the repairs and was not pushy to make a sale.

This was the first time I've had someone from Friends & Family HVAC to look at my AC unit and it was a great experience! Andrew was my service technician and he was very kind and quick to identify what our issue was. 10/10 would call them again!

UPDATE: I needed help from Friends & Family again for my AC, and this time had a great experience working with Brian who went above and beyond to help us out! I really can't recommend this company enough.

UPDATE 2: I just had my first maintenance after purchasing the membership pla, and the technician arrived promptly and did the job quickly! What I've come to understand about Friends and Family HVAC is that everyone seems to be really kind, ready to answer any of my questions, and great at their jobs. Rigo was very helpful, friendly. He gave us the right recommendations for our AC and didn’t try to upsell anything unnecessary. In fact once he started the repairs he realized that we didn’t not need any refrigerant and that saved us $900 from what was originally quoted.

Adam was on time and extremely professional. He explained everything that was going on with the unit and some possible causes of the trouble. He was able to get the cold air flowing again and even took the time to clean the unit. He also came inside to check on the filter. He will return in several weeks to check on the unit. If you can request a specific service person, I would highly recommend requesting Adam.

Before anything else, I wanted to say that everyone from this company was professional and courteous. This rather long review was for the sequence of events of my home AC repair and by no means personal in any way.

AC went out a few weeks ago. Found Friends and Family HAVC company from Yelp with seemingly really high review ratings. Skeptical still, I called and made an appointment.

First tech came, really nice guy. After diagnosing no power to thermostat, said problem was with the transformer at the furnace. He replaced it with a new transformers but did not work, tried a 2nd new transformer and still does not work. Tech went ahead and charged me a repair fee of $294, despite initially stating a $69 diagnostic fee.

Tech then said the problem was with the control board and quoted $1,856 to repair.

I am not happy with the situation so far. I felt that it was a "let's try to replace this thing, charge you for it, if it doesn't work, let's try another thing and charge you for that too until we guessed the right part and fix the problem." I was not going to continue with them. I felt that approach was fine if it was a "handyman" who doesn't know much about fixing ACs, but I am hiring a supposedly professional top notch company. They should be able to identify the actual fault and charge me to fix it instead of playing parts roulette. I would have been happy to pay for any repair that actually fixed the problem.

As I was thinking about getting other AC service companies to come and take a look. Kenny, senior tech and now quality assurance rep from the office called me to inquire about the service call and whether I was happy with it. I politely retold my experience and how the AC system was left in no better situation with a new part that it didn't need, but was done and billed anyways. Which gave me no confidence that the next pricy part quoted was going to fix the problem. Kenny assured me that this was not acceptable by their high level of service standards and promise to send a second technician free of charge to do a deeper dive to diagnose the problem.

Second tech showed up the following day. After providing the info thus far, He went up to the attic to diagnose the issue. The problem proved to be elusive after he tried a couple things. However, he took the time to further diagnose the issue and found that the furnace in the attic suffered a power surge and melted and broke a 120V power wire which was then touching the metal chassis but safely redirected power back to ground. That caused power supply problem to the furnace. He fixed the broken power wire. Luckily no components, including the pricy control board was damaged. The AC system came right back to life after wire was reconnected.

This second repair was done without further charge. So the final tally was $294 for a difficult to diagnose, but simple to fix issue. Us homeowners all fear these horror stories of how any problem with the AC and we will be told it's unrepairable, and that a $16K wholesale replacement was the way to go. However, Friends and Family HVAC was different. They really do care about their reputation and quality of work. I am duly impressed and is now a happy and loyal customer of this company. Trust is earned, and this company has certainly eared my trust. I would definitely recommend this company.

Rigoberto was a pleasure to deal with. He answered all my questions, was very thorough servicing my AC & Furnace, and made suggestions where appropriate. Very satisfied.

Patrick was very informative and helpful. He’s very knowledgeable and good at what he does. My girlfriend and I are very pleased with our new AC unit. Sonny did a wonderful job with the installation and even clean out my attic for me.

This company is so awesome and extremely helpful. From the first call to the actual appointment date, is a great experience. They will work with you on all issues, are very polite, will not up charge you, and will go above and beyond on assisting you.

Very friendly, knowledgeable, and patient! Had a new thermostat installed and Abrem really took the time to show me how to both set it up on my phone and use it manually. Was honest and up front with all pricing as well. And the best part was I was able to get them to my house the same day I called!

We LOVE Friends & Family HVAC! We’re on their monthly plan that comes with two tune up visits a year: one for the heater & the other for our air conditioner. They are so friendly & professional! I love their personal calls to set up our annual check ups & the text to let me know when their tech is on his way with a photo of the tech. I highly recommend this wonderful business for all of your HVAC needs.

Really a great company. I have had fantastic experiences with everyone I've delt with here. Prices are right and they are responsive. I had them replace an old 5 ton condenser and coil and the install crew was clean and courteous. Rigo the service tech has been out to my house twice and its always a pleasure seeing him. I plan to keep working with them.
