There was a huge hair ball which had built up over about 4 years and I had the bright idea to try and snake it out with my screwdriver but it broke off and fell down the drain. I called up a friend of mine who knows a plumber that works for Payless 4 Plumbing. I am super frugal and did not want to spend a lot but he gave me a good price and he did a fast and clean job. If I need to hire a plumber again I will give this company a call.

PayLess 4 Plumbing literally saved my house from flooding!!! My backyard drains we’re clogged and it was just a matter of time until the water got inside. In less than an hour they came as promised, in the rain on Thanksgiving day, Hydro-Jetted everything and got my drains opened. Thank you Alex and Mateus for showing up as promised on a rainy Thanksgiving Day!!! HIGHLY RECOMMEND them and would definitely use them in the future if need be.

My fiancée used this company for his Downey home and the experience with them was HORRIBLE…I don’t even know where to begin. We live out of state and needed work done immediately, they showed up and stopped a leak, but it was all downhill from there. The initial quote for the work kept going up( this was an expensive job!!) and it wasn’t even that difficult. Extremely poor communication on their part which caused much stress given we are so far away. They kept giving excuses for employees not showing up AND they even lost our check sent 2 day priority! It took them one month to complete the job!!! Which was only running 80 ft of copper piping…Very unprofessional and unreliable. In addition it took 2 1/2 months to get a copy of the city permit, despite multiple requests for it, it was never a priority for them. On top of everything the owner Alex was unapologetic about the time it took to complete the job and the loss of the check…overall a really bad, expensive and stressful experience, so BEWARE!!!

Alex came to repair a clogged shower drain. This is a particularly stubborn drain, it clogs on schedule about every 6 months! I've called other plumbers in the past and several couldn't do the job. Payless 4 Plumbing nails it everytime! Highly recommend this company 👍👍

Very expensive!

I called them to replace a leaking faucet; I forgot I had spoken with them before. This time like last time they wouldn’t give an estimated range.

My husband walked them to the 24 inch vanity where there was a four inch spread faucet that was leaking and asked them how much to replace it.
The plumber said $600!
My husband said no he wouldn’t pay that; negotiations ensued.
We had him do the work b c my mother needed it done.
I thought I would warn others b c this was second time I had this experience with a company saying you would Payless.
Previously I made the plumber leave and called Norwalk-Downey Plumbing & Heating.
Also beware they may ask you for a charge just to come out after you decline their service but didn’t tell you that before coming out.

This company is a one in a million company. They are fast and on point. No BS and no short cuts. I had a big problem with main piping around 10 pm.

Gave them a call and at 8 am "ON POINT" they were there. I recommend worker Matias. This guy is clean and very respectful. He literally walk me through the whole process and broke down what I didn't understand since I am not a plumber. This company has really proven themselves.

Again dont look elsewhere.

My son decided to drop a cell phone in our toilet and flush it. I was referred to Payless 4 Plumbing by friend. I called on a Friday and they scheduled me for a Saturday morning appt. The plumber Roberto, I believe was his name, was courteous and professional. It took him a while to dislodge the phone because I plunged it deep not knowing my 3 yr old dropped A CELL PHONE IN THE TOILET!! Anyway, Roberto didn't BS me, he cleaned up the mess and gave me fair price. I now have Payless 4 Plumbing on speed dial...all because of a curious 3 yr old.

We have used Payless 4 Plumbing on 3 occasions over the last ten years. We have been completely satisfied with their service every time. Today Joseph unclogged an upstairs bathtub drain. He was very respectful and professional. Definitely recomnend this company company!

I am very pleased with the work and services from this company. I called them in the morning because the main line sewage line was backed up and I was told a plumber would be at my house in about 2hrs. 30 min later Ricardo was at my doorstep and explained what needed to be done. He explained everything throughout the process and that gave me peace of mind knowing I was in good hands. VERY professional and honest, would definitely recommend to friends and family. Definitely give these guys a call, they won't disappoint!

I have used Payless 4 Plumbing on multiple occasions. I have used them for unclogging slow drains to hydrojet tree roots out of a pipe and sealing the pipe to installing a gas line to trenching below a slab to replace a crack cast iron pipe. I recommend them without reservation. Alex and his crew are professional, conscientious, and knowledgeable; prices are fair, quality of work has been great. They go the extra mile when cleaning up after the project. They explain everything in a straight forward manner.

I had 100 gallon water heater begin to breakdown at an 8 unit apartment complex on a Saturday. I called Payless 4 plumbing and various other plumbers and Payless 4 plumbing was the only one that came out that same day on a Saturday. I was very impressed they came out on a Saturday to take a look and give me a quote because everyone else waited until Monday or Tuesday to get back to me.
After that, Alex stayed in close contact with me to get everything set for the installation. Once the water heater was installed and running perfectly Roberto and Raffi stayed and explained how to properly maintain the water heater and answered all my questions.
Once the water heater was installed and working perfectly Roberto went up to one of the units to clean out some sediment that was clogging the facet because one of the tenants mentioned it while he was making sure that the water heater was getting hot water to each unit. Small things like that make a company standout and show that they really love the work they do.
I highly recommend Payless 4 Plumbing for any small or big job you may need. They were professional with my tenants and me, they stayed in constant communication, are willing to go out of their way to please their client and the pricing is great. I will only be doing business with Payless 4 Plumbing for all my plumbing problems.

Great service, fast and efficient.
Came out to evaluate my situation at no charge. Will was very friendly and knowledgeable even going as far as making sure I understand all my options (not just telling me how much it was going to be)
Crew was out shortly after to complete the repairs. Both Service men were on-time, polite, clean and friendly.
They did a great job, explained what they did & why then asked if I had any questions.
They assured me everything was “All Good Now”
We will definitely be calling them for any of my future plumbing needs.

Just want to say that Alex and his sons do a wonderful job. They are a class act organization, very professional and reasonable pricing. I would recommend this company to anyone looking for an honest hard working plumbing company.

Alex‘s team at Payless 4 plumbing has always done a great job for me and my family. As always their lead technician, Ricardo explained the issue, the expectation of what the work would take and the cost.The work was done in a timely fashion, very clean and professional work. Me and other members of my family have been using them for going on 15 years. As my wife said “ you can’t stop things from breaking, I’m just glad we know someone to call who can fix it properly“

Saved the day on a hot water heater install for sellers of ours, highly recommended.

Needed a toilet replaced and Ricardo came out to give an estimate. I was told which toilet to purchase as it would be cheaper than having them order it. Went to Home Depot and Lowe's neither store carried it, it needed to be special ordered. They were supposed to come on Thursday to install and didn't show up, called and said they had an emergency and would be there Friday. Ricardo came Friday and installed the toilet immediately I said that isn't the same toilet that I had (the new one is too low) he assured me it was the same and left. My husband and I are 74 and have a toilet that is 15" off the floor. I called and asked to speak with a manager and was put in touch with the supervisor Alex who is basically saying it is our fault for ordering the wrong toilet. I explained that we ordered the toilet we were told to order. He is questioning why we didn't let them order the toilet, to "avoid getting the wrong one" (because it would have been $100 extra). After install we were charged $395 instead of the $350 quoted because he had to use some of his own supplies. I asked Alex the supervisor if they could order a correct toilet and keep the one they installed as an exchange to which he replied "No, it's trash". Very frustrating dealing with the run around. Now waiting again to hear back and see how to resolve this issue.
