I called Chris Patterson, they called me back in 10 minutes, showed up at the appointed time, James the tech is friendly found the problem, he had the parts on his truck had the problem fixed in less than one hours. I am very impressed and will call Patterson when ever I need ac or heating needs.

I was introduce to Patterson heating and air through my home warranty. Fast, friendly and thorough, the technician Mark was at my home the next day. He diagnosed the problem, and the repairs were made the next day.

I've used them for a service call on my heater and A/C. Both times with favorable and consistent results. The tech was knowledgeable and friendly. The wore boot covers to keep my house clean, and they diagnosed my problem exactly. They told me was wrong without trying to sell me anything extra. Their website has specials posted, which I used both times. They charged me exactly what was advertised without any hidden fees. The scheduling time was very reasonable, and they were on time. I love their service and I will use them again in the future. Their business card has earned a permanent place on my fridge for all future tune-ups and repairs.

Patterson fixed a terrible install that we had done on the cheap. Chris provided a clear breakdown of what needed to be fixed and offered a very competitive price. He and his team showed up, got the work done, left the house clean and were on their way. I would highly recommend them for the Elk Grove region and certainly will use them again.

Our AC went out, I searched for a good AC service provider. Based on the reviewes, I decided to give a try with Patterson. I am so glad that I made the right choice. Not only did Chris come out promptly in the same day, he also did a great job to provide recommendations and fix the problems.

Our A/C went out during the last time the Gates of Hell opened here in Sacramento and it was 106 degrees. I called our warranty company and they referred Patterson, although they couldn't show up for 3 days. Chris came today and I have to say of all the HVAC people I've had over here, he was the most knowledgable ever. He had my rooftop monster running in no time and even helped me out with a few resources on other options for heating and cooling my fab 50's home. This guys knows his stuff.

These guys are the best! My AC was blowing warm air, Chris sent Mark out within a couple of hours, who did a thorough check of the system, got it going quickly at a more than fair price, and noted some items to keep an eye on (motor oil leak) and advice on filters to keep the system running efficiently. I've found my go-to HVAC company!

My AC stopped cooling 2 weeks ago & I knew that it needed a freon charge again as this happened last year. I called Patterson Heating & air to schedule a service call. Chris Patterson answered and was very professional and he fit me in his tight schedule the same day. Chris showed up on thorough inspection to get to the root cause as to why the freon needed to be added every year. The culprit was a leak in the evaporator located in the attic of the house, the base of the unit was rusted and showed signs of the leak on a tiny copper line. Chris took his time explaining in details the process to fix it. Two weeks later as scheduled he showed up, replaced the evaporator & fan in an efficient time. Chris & Patterson heating and air are an asset for the greater Sacramento region based on my experience. I would definitely recommend him & company.

Chris, the owner, had Mark show up as soon as I needed them. They are the best when it comes to value and cost. The expertise that Mark showed was unbelievable. After three very, very bad experiences with other companies in the area, we called Patterson for a second opinion. He came out immediately, and put in the legwork to come up with the most practical and affordable fix. Our repair was a very lengthy process due to a part needing to be ordered from out of state, and even though this was during a 90-100+ degree time, and he was obviously extremely busy with other customers, Chris continued to give us updates, and did not try to upsell us on a more expensive unit or overhaul. When it was time for the work to be completed, the two guys who showed up to the house were friendly, efficient, and professional. This is the first HVAC company I have come across that seems genuine and out to actually help their customers. We will definitely recommend them in the future!

Chris responded to our inquiry in a timely fashion. He had installed 2 Heat pump units for us and has done the yearly services. Quick and easy to work with. Very fair pricing, and a great warranty program. Will continue to use Chris as is needed. A 5 Star company.

Called in the morning and they were here later that day. Was very transparent with pricing and options. He fixed everything and had my AC working within the next hour. Everything went very smoothly!

Fast and excellent service. Called Patterson when we had a blower unit go out in the heater. Chris showed up on time and was able to diagnose and repair the problem. He had to go across Sacramento to get a part and worked late Friday evening to get the job done all within the original quote. I will use him again and recommend him to my friends.

Today, i contacted Chris from Patterson air conditioning for a situation. I was changing the air filter, when the air conditioner turned on and sucked my dryer sheet that was on the floor. In a panic, thinking about a fire, i started calling for HELP. Pattersons was the first i called and left a message. He returned my call. Because of his schedule and mine, he decided that he had an extra few minutes and he would walk me through the process if i was willing. He was very patient as we proceeded. With this young man's help, i removed the panels and found the intact dryer sheet and pulled it out. Yahoo!! Chris, didn't charge me for a service call (but i would have gladly paid) and he taught me a little about my air conditioner. Thank you, Chris for your kindness and generosity. You are my HERO!

Had our AC stop working late Thursday night.Having numerous health issues and being home bound on a 100 plus degree day started to panic me. I looked up 24 hr emergency services and found Patterson Heating and Air. It was close to 9pm and I expected to get a machine, but to my delight Chris answered the phone and assured me he can help. He showed up the next morning and had my AC humming in no time, what a relief! Chris' wonderful customer service skills even managed to win the approval of my very picky Mom that was visiting at the time, so I will definitely be calling him back for our yearly maintenance.

My husband and I bought a home in Elk Grove last year in November as is. Our neighbors were having their Heating and Air Conditioning system checked and serviced by Patterson Heating and Air like they do every year and have for many years. My neighbor suggested that I too have our system checked out so i did.

Well thank the lord up above that I did. When we purchased the home it was as is. Even though our Heating and Air Conditioning system was new it was installed incorrectly. I was telling my husband that I smelled gas and he told me I was crazy well Chris not only found that but several other problems. Chris wrote an estimate and explain while showing me all of the problems. Because of the incorrect installation we had a water leak which caused all of the wood to become wet, that also created black mold.

Chris wrote everything up and has worked with us every step of the way. I am so very Thankful to not only my neighbor but to Chris also for understanding our situation and working with us. Chris has put a whole new meaning to the name of Customer Service. I would recommend :
PATTERSON HEATING AND AIR CONDITIONING TO ANY ONE LOOKING FOR AN HONEST AND MOST WONDERFUL COMPANY TO HAVE SERVICE YOUR HEATING AND AIR . I know we will never have anyone else service our Heating and Air Conditioning equipment but Patterson Heating and Air.

Such a well run business! Got our part in and called to come as soon as they got it. Had it installed that day, and the owner even came himself. Great price as well!

Had our our complete hvac replaced also got the zoning done, as our house was a single zone.Chris from Patterson Heating and air Conditioning was awesome. He did everything..... right suggestions,accurate quotes,perfect installations,great duct work,got city permits.took care of all paperwork. He is polite and professional. Completed the entire project in two days.

I had a problem with my a/c & discovered I just needed to change the batteries in my thermostat. But when I changed them my air would not come back on. My daughter called a couple of companies for me & got a hold of Patterson Heating & Air & spoke to the owner, Chris. He called me back & asked several questions & then walked me through several steps until I got it working. It was on the smokiest of days (from the fires) as well as 100° + weather so needless to say I was miserable. Chris’s concern to help me was over & above what anyone did for me. (My daughter) & I both called several companies & he was the only one who took the extra care to help me. He offered to come out as soon as he completed his customer he was heading to but luckily I got it working. He will be my 1st call when I need heating or a/c help. In fact he’s going to install a new (updated/smart) thermostat for me! Thank you Chris, great job! I highly recommend this company.

My rental unit notified me the A/C wasn't working on Labor Day 2020 during a heat wave, COVID, and the statewide fires that were burning making the air quality unhealthy. My tenants couldn't open their windows. I called Patterson Heating & Air on Labor Day and Chris not only answered, but was was on-site within 24 hours to fix my unit. Patterson Heating & Air Conditioning was quick to get me an appointment in my stressful time of need. They came on time, knew exactly what the problem was, and my heater was fixed within an hour. I also had my AC unit go out that following year, on a very hot day in summer. Patterson H&A came out that same day, and had us enjoying a cool feeling house again in no time.
