Patterson Heating and Air conditioning recently replaced my air conditioning and heating system. They do awesome work and have great customer service. Everything was completed on time as promised. They are very reasonably priced compared to other companies. There were 3 technicians and the owner working on my project and I can’t say enough about how kind and polite they were. They really go the extra mile and protect your house while doing so. I highly recommend Patterson!!!

Friendly, honest and reliable. Chris Patterson is very knowledgable and knows more about the equipment than most other service personnel. His pricing is flat rate and very fair. The response time for my return air duct issue was timely and as promised. It is very hard to find service people that are capable, honest and reliable, but when you do you want to hang on to them and recommend them to your friends...Chris Patterson is one of the good ones and he will be my go to guy for any heating and air issue.

When calling around for service help, Patterson was the first company that was able to get out to help us (same day). We knew we were probably in to purchase a whole new HVAC system and that was true. They were very helpful, they reached out a number of times to make sure we didn’t have any other questions, they were competitive in price, not the cheapest but not the most expensive. Their assistance with 0% financing for awhile was invaluable and everyone we worked with was great. The owner is hands on and makes sure he knows what is happening that that his clients are happy. We have been pleased with our experience with both a new HVAC and getting the whole house fan. Thank you Patterson Heating and Air Conditioning!

I am extremely pleased with the service offered by Chris Patterson and his wonderful crew. My old unit started leaking and was full of mold so a new unit was needed. The crew of Jerry, Joel, Jason, and Dave were efficient and perfectionists but careful of the furnishing in my home and thoughtful of myself, my daughter and her dog. They cleaned up so well that my garage floor was cleaner than when they arrived. I recommend them highly. I love my new unit. I appreciate that Chris helped me with all the paperwork for Smud and made that process easy. The entire experience was fantastic. Chris and Mark at Patterson Heating & Air are great! Our HVAC went out and we wanted to get it fixed. We had another company came out before and paid $74 for inspection, they provided an estimate, but never called back to go over the details even I called. Patterson Heating charged $69 for diagnostic and waived it after I accepted the contract. They finished the repair in the same day. Thank you for the great job.

Our air conditioner broke down in the middle of August.
We called our warranty insurance who sent a person to assess the situation.
The warranty guy went straight to the condenser unit and changed the capacitor without any evaluation.

The fix lasted 2 days.
We got 2 independent contractors to evaluate but were told different things.
One said we needed a compressor the other said we needed a condenser unit but that if we changed the unit it would not be compatible with our evaporator, etc.

We finally met Chris Patterson and the whole experience from start to finish was exceptional, thorough and very professional.

He spent time going through every part of the system and then gave us his recommendations.
He offered options and answered our questions patiently.
He was very knowledgeable and also went out of his way to accommodate our schedule.

His team was equally efficient and professional.
They arrived on time.
They laid out work cloth to protect our carpet from the dust.
They finished the job in one day as promised.
It was no easy job considering how hot it was and the extent that they needed to do to remove the old system and get the new system in.

We would not hesitate to recommend Chris to our friends. He takes pride and ownership on his quality of work. As he will say on his card that "Average isn't good enough" is true. He and is crew will ensure 100% satisfaction from start to finish.

Patterson Heating & Air is AWESOME! My air conditioner went out and I wanted to get it fixed ASAP. I called 5 different companies before Patterson Heating & Air and all of them would be able to come out for at least 3 days to 2 weeks. The operators of these other companies weren't very nice either. I called Patterson Heating & Air next and spoke with the owner Chris. He was y nice and said he could come out to my house that same day. He arrived during the time slot he gave me and was courteous, helpful, and professional the entire time. Unfortunately I had to replace my AC unit, but he made the sad experience of needing to replace the unit as enjoyable as possible; he was honest, patient, and very informative. He had no problem answering all of my questions (twice even, if I needed him to explain something again). He knew it was important to my family and I to have our new unit installed as soon as possible and offered to come back later in the evening after I discussed the proposals with my husband. After I spoke with my husband and got the ok to move forward, Chris had no problem coming back later in the evening to go over paperwork with both me and my husband. I really really appreciated Chris' service. Patterson Heating & Air goes above and beyond making the customer satisfied. I would HIGHLY RECOMMEND Patterson Heating & Air to all my friends and family!!

I have to write this review on such an amazing experience we had with Patterson Heating & Air. Chris the owner went above just good customer service for us as we had a complete central air system replaced. Walked us through every step from start to finish. Making sure we got what we needed to suit our needs, with being mindful of what was comfortable in our spending. His crew came in and were done in 6 hours, and we had 100% cooling comfort instantly. Respectful of our house and took care of it as if it was their own. This is a big purchase/investment, but have zero regrets getting it done, and having lucked out finding Patterson Heating & Air as our company.

Dave completed a work earlier this summer to fix our cooling issue that was done during the peak of the hot days. A few days ago, we tried the heat and it was not working. Dave came by again and checked it out and found that he had accidentally set incorrectly some heat settings. He fixed it, graciously acknowledged this and was profusely apologetic for his oversight (waived all fees). Such integrity from service providers is fantastic and is a testament to Dave, Chris and Patterson HVAC.

Patterson Heating & Air Conditioning had been maintaining and servicing our old HVAC unit for nearly 20 nears. When we decided to replaced our old rooftop HVAC system in conjunction with replacing our roof, we talked with multiple HVAC companies. No other company listened to what we wanted and gave it the thought that Chris Patterson did. Having Patterson H&A install our new system was a WOW experience from start to finish. Chris Patterson listened to our concerns about airflow with our old system and designed the new system with perfect air balance. His crew coordinated with our roofer to place the system at the proper step. The workers were very considerate of our home as they were in and out of the attic and all around the house working on the air registers. They were very detail oriented and saw to every special request we had. All this for a very fair price. We couldn't be happier with Patterson H&A and our new HVAC system.

When your AC goes out on a blazing hot day, you want a competent technician to repair it ASAP, and that is exactly what Chris Patterson did. I called 4 different AC repair companies and they were fully booked and could not come out for several days. When I called Chris, I left a message that I needed service as my unit went out of a 107 degree day. Within an hour, he said he was 10 minutes away!

Despite the horrible heat, he quickly found the defective AC issues and explained what needed to be repaired. His price was very reasonable and lower than most larger companies. Chris was efficient in repairing the AC, he had all the parts that were needed in his van. I now have a cool house and didn't have to pay thousands more that larger companies would have charged and tried to upsell.

I highly recommend Patterson Heating and AC and will hire Chris again for future AC/Heating repairs!

It is my pleasure to highly recommend Patterson Heating and Air. My heat went out, gave them a call, and 90 minutes later they were at my house and extending me excellent customer service. Technician Dave was courteous, professional, and literally spelled out all of my options concerning my furnace and air conditioning unit. The initial diagnosis was fast and concise. (I knew I had a professional in my home) The price was far and reasonable, and when it is time for me to have a new unit installed in my home, I will most definitely be calling Chris, at Patterson Heating and Air. Chris and Dave together make a dynamic team and the residents of Elk Grove, and surrounding areas are better off having this great team servicing our area.

Called Patterson HVAC at 8am with an emergency. My nest thermostat wasn’t working and it was 100 degrees outside. They were able to send a technician that day. David did a fantastic job troubleshooting my system and had it up a running quickly. 10/10 would recommend

We had a new heat pump HVAC system and an electric water heater installed and are super-happy with the work that was done, from initial contact to the final clean-up and beyond. When you need work done in our house, you want someone who will take on the job as if they were in their own home. Chris Patterson and his team do exactly that - they go the extra mile to make absolutely sure that they have completed every aspect of the job perfectly. Chris Patterson and his team (David) have been a breath of fresh air, in a world where it is getting harder and harder to find reliable, honest, fair, hardworking service providers. In the height of summer when our A/C stopped working he managed, somehow, to squeeze us in during an intense heat wave. And more recently he came out to help in the middle of a winter cold snap, when my heater was on the fritz and the family was coming for a holiday visit (at the same time that everyone else was probably calling him for help)! I will continue to use Patterson - without question.

The owner, Chris, was prompt to return calls and schedule an appointment. He has 30+ years of experience and was extremely knowledgeable. While other HVAC companies were trying to sell me a $30,000 plus new HVAC system, Chris took the time to diagnose the real issues. He pinpointed the problems and was able to make repairs for a fraction of the cost. The system is working great now. I will use him in the future for all HVAC servicing needs.

Chris Patterson and team did a great job of replacing my HVAC unit. They are a very professional and knowledgeable company. Chris answered all my questions regarding the new refrigerant regulations being effective Jan 2025. He was able to install the make and model of my choice very quickly without delay. The team went above and beyond to make sure everything was fully functioning and looking great too.

Chris, Dave, and the rest of the team flushed out my water heater, disclosure routine maintenance on the hvac system that was installed, and did it all in a timely manner. Chris is honest and upfront which is hard to find nowadays. Highly recommend this company.
